Best Kebab in Central Bedfordshire

Amazing kebab, very tasty, generous size, friendly staff, highly recommend

Ordered from best kebab for a while now and can never fault the food and service. Never usually leave reviews but last week I accidentally ordered the wrong thing online and rang them, there was no issue whatsoever, they made the changes no questions asked and got us the right delivery in good time on a busy weekend evening. 10/10

I ordered a medium doner kebab wrap, and it was delicious, the portion size was huge. The staff were so nice, I asked if they could have it ready quickly as I had a train to catch and they got it ready for me super fast - they even gave me a free drink!

Food is amazing. Don't get me wrong it tastes great! But when I order off the main course menue for £17.50 that is suppose to be mixed shish kebab, on a bed of rice, with a separate salad and turkish bread, accompanied by 2 pots of sauce..... and they fob you off with your meat in a pitta bread with some salad on the side...... it is not acceptable. Please serve what is stated on your menu and be consistent with this. I will return because the quality of food is amazing. But I expect your service and attitude towards customers to be more consistent with the first time I came in a few months ago. Tonight wasn't acceptable

Ordered a halloumi kebab a few months ago, and I'm not sure how they managed to make something as delicious as halloumi taste of absolutely nothing, but they did. Decided to give them another try and ordered a falafel kebab. I assume the one hour 45 mins it took for them to deliver my order, the falafel was cooking for the entire time, as it was completely rock hard and inedible. Needless to say this was more of a "worst kebab" experience for me.

I was quite unimpressed both with cost and food. Being a Sunday options were low. Kebab sounded cheap and nice. My lamb shish was £11+ and my wifes veg kebab was £10! Neither were worth shouting about and just OK. The craziest bit was an halloumi side which amounted to 5 slices off a standard block was £8 - s'pose the little bit of shredded lettuce it sat was a bonus . Pitta's had seemingly not even been warmed over a griil. Too expensive at a total of over £31 with some chips. Wish I could be more positive.

Staying at the centre parcs nearby and I have to say I highly recommend this place. I came from South London and this place beats everything I've had before. Great food, great service.

The chicken was nice but £25 for 2 chicken Sheesh of (4 squares of chicken, a pita on rice, no salad, no sauces) and 1 portion of soggy chips to share is incredibly pricey. Sorry to say it but we were very disappointed.

40 minute drive was definitely worth it. Well organised and professionally run business. Staff is on point. Top notch Food. Will definitely be returning

Used to be brilliant kebabs . I’ve no idea what has happened but that’s the worst one I’ve had. Since the move the food has changed it’s got no taste. Doubt I’ll be getting anything again such a shame

Had the Sam's special and it's plenty enough for 2. Food was lovely and the place was very clean. Staff were very friendly.

They have revived the original donner pittas which give a cheaper alternative to the proper main meals. The food is always cooked and seasoned to perfection here. It is on the expensive side for takeaway food but you do get what you pay for in quality. The Sam's Special was exceptional.

This is one of the best kebab places - pun intended - in the area. I have been using them for years and the service is excellent. The quality of the food is also excellent, I would certainly recommend.

Had a takeaway Saturday night for my boyfriends 30th. Was very impressed with the food. Some very nice Turkish food. A bit on the pricier side however it is worth it we believe.

Highly disappointed. When it came to paying I had in my head not more than £30 for 2 chicken shish and 1 lamb doner. How mistaken was I. It came to £44 . It used to be good food. I have open box to see little blobs of chicken and tiny portion of salad.. sorry guys after money I have paid I was expecting extravagant posh kebab . It was not tasty and money were not adequate to quality. One family client less for you .

First time I’ve been and it was absolutely delicious. The staff are all friendly, food prepared beautifully and promptly. The taste of the meats was delicious and very succulent and the rice was perfect. Highly recommended

Just picked up 2 kebabs and so disappointed, I asked for chicken with salad and chilli, no salad. I was expecting diced chicken and it was scrag end of chicken, let’s hope the kebab van returns soon!!

Amazing food and great service. I have loved everything I have had from there, with there Turkish pizzas, lahmacun and chilli sauce being my favourites items on the menu.

We love Best Kebab - authentic food, prepared fresh and it’s so tasty! Highly recommend Sam’s platter - generous portions of meats, the rice is yummy and the salad is fresh and completes the plate. Tried the new pizzas tonight as well and it was really well made, hot and delicious.

Best takeaway I've had in a very long time. More expensive than your average late night kebab shop, but the difference in quality is plain to see. If you like authentic Turkish food, this really is a treat.

Such a long time since I've been to best kebab. They've moved premises and seems a change in the way food is served aswell. I like the way you can see your food cooking (loads of takeaways put this in the corners away from the customer some even hide their kitchens). Meat was quality and a mixed starters platter aswell 5*

Recently moved to larger premises. Still, by far, the best kebabs available locally. Not too sure about the rice with pretty much everything or the now very steep prices though, just means we go less often.

Just ordered our first Kebabs tonight from their new premises and from their new Menu. Top quality doner meat on Turkish flatbread, really tasty. Chips were excellent as well. Delivered to Millwright Way within 10mins. Will definitely be ordering from them again.

Just simply the BEST! Truly authentic Turkish grill, meat quality Is excellent, service is fantastic! Portion size is good and reasonable priced. I haven’t tasted better lamb ribs in years. Highly recommended!!!

Seriously upped thier game since moving location! Lovely fresh chicken and rice with a really tasty chopped Mediterranean side salad (not a leafy salad) also some bread and dip on the side, all for just £9! Good work gentlemen 🤙🏼

Food is not good value for money

Lovely authentic feeling mezze and Turkish food. And great veggie option in the area that delivers (boy there aren’t many). Both hot and cold mezzes and mains were good. Don’t think this’ll be just kebabs it’s very very lovely food all round. And they have Ayran which is always a win for me.

Amazing amazing and amazing!!! Had the BK Special, and to say it was special was an understatement. Hot, well cooked suckulant meat, well cooked hot fluffy rice, tasty lavaş bread and a fresh side salad. Def the no1 takeaway in Flitwick. 20 mins to deliver, quicker than any of the others near by. Delivery driver was friendly, polite and quick, and excellent customer service when we ordered. Highly recommended 👌

New location, New Menu, Same Outstanding Service. If you haven’t tried the revamped Best Kebab, you are missing out massively! I can’t begin to tell you how impressed I am with the shop and menu. Proper Turkish Kebabs grilled over charcoal. Doner which is real meat, as it should be. Not the greasy elephant leg, post pub rubbish. Mezze are just perfect. Fresh, tasty and authentic. This is the type of food I have been dreaming of and maybe Flitwick’s new favourite. Not just any old take away. A proper feast! Well done to to the whole team...

Used to be the best kebabs in Bedfordshire. Now (2021) they have tried to upscale and pretend to be a Turkish dining experience. They don't offer traditional doner kebabs anymore. Price for new version has gone from c£7 for large doner to £12 - and it doesn't compare. Although it's called a doner, it is largely made up of scraps of lamb and is served with rice. The salad is poor too. Used to be a frequent customer, but won't be going there again.

Top notch food - highly recommend the doner, the flatbreads are cracking, and there's a red chilli sauce side of some kind I don't know the name of but works really well with the other dishes. Salads are great quality too. This place is well worth your time, the team is a great bunch and they seem to be improving recipes all the time

Amazing kebabs, very authentic and more Turkish restaurant quality than your standard take away kebab. You do pay high end, but absolute value for money and the portions were huge and very good quality and standard. Good on them for surviving during these bonkers times, first time we’ve ever been (they were recommended) and we will definitely be back for more. Delicious, absolutely delicious and A* to all the staff too, thank you!

LOVELY FOOD BUT GETTING REALLY EXSPENSIVE. PRICES HAVE ALMOST DOUBLED IN THREE YEARS I DO NOT THINK I WILL EVER GO THERE AGAIN.

I don’t know what’s happened at best kebab but I don’t like it! I’ve used these guys for years and with everything that’s been going on with the pandemic I haven’t had a take away for a while. My wife and I decided to try using their new online order system, which is very good, unfortunately the food wasn’t up to the incredible standard I’m used to from here. Both kebabs came in a weird deconstructed packaging where the salad, pita, meat and sauces were all in individual containers. The meat was incredibly dry and the tomatoes I’m sad to say were very much past their best. The sauce being in small pots meant it didn’t really coat the kebab like when the guys making it give you a nice generous serving. Also the pita breads had dried out on gone tough and quite unpleasant by the time I got home to construct the kebab. I never thought I’d write this review for this establishment as like I say I’ve used them for years but unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be rushing back.

I was just waiting at flitwick station for the 17:30 train to Luton and had 30 mins to kill so ordered a Donna Wrap from Best Kebab. The establishment is quite small and nothing special to look at but OMG!!! I just experienced the best wrap I’ve ever had, no joke! It was so juicy and tasty, its now 17:25 and I seriously want another, it was that good! If it wasn’t for catching the train, I would. Whenever I catch the train from Flitwick in the future I’ll be definitely popping in for a Donna wrap from now on. Oh, and the guy there (possibly the owner) threw in a free can of coke. Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍🏼

Travelled down earlier on today to deliver fuel across the road at tesco... I smelt something banging looked about and seen where it was coming from went and grabbed a dona chicken chips and Pepsi abit pricey but maybe that's the area the meat was banging no dry pieces all fresh I hope I'm back down that end again some time soon to have another!

Always good food. Friendly ppl. And sort you out with free drinks when you spend certain amount. Best kebab shop around. Even know people that come from outside the area, just to go to this kebab house.

Staff were disinterested and not welcoming. My doner kebab was overcooked, dry and many of the edges were almost burnt. The portion of chips was very small compared with other kebab houses. Disappointingly I was not offered any condiments for my chips. The restaurant interior has been poorly and cheaply decorated.
