First time visiting this restaurant and all I can say is wow!! Greeted with lovely warm welcome from very polite employee. Gave us plenty of time and space to get settled. Drinks were ordered then when the whole party arrived, including the birthday girl! We all started ordering food and oh my gosh. Calamari 😍 always our go to starter! 5/5 Flat breads and condiments yummy 5/5 We had chicken shish, lovely big chucks cooked to perfection, soft, moist & tender. 5/5 I had Kleftico, braised lamb shank 😋 bone literally fell off and the flavour was delicious. 5/5 the service and speed of delivery for the food was PERFECT top marks again 5/5 Would recommend going and we will come back again soon 😊🙂

What a fantastic experience and such a lovely place with delicious food and great customer service, very friendly and attentive members of staff who have been very welcoming and ensured the whole experience was great. I have reserved a table for a birthday celebration, the venue is very unique and the food incredible starting from the meze starters to the main mixed grills - very tasty. We enjoyed singing a very happy birthday song together and we had a chance to end the meal with an amazing Turkish cay (tea). Thank you everyone for making this special, I will definitely come again and bring my loved ones to share the joy.

Today I went here with my family. They were very accommodating with my 3 year old daughter. The food is absolutely amazing. If you want to know how good a restaurant is, you order calamari. The calamari was succulent and juicy. Not rubbery like nearly everywhere else you could every go to. The food was lovely. The baclava was unreal. Our daughter also loved it. I would highly recommend and I shall be going here once a month for sure. The staff are also very nice and professional. I highly recommend.

I have been to Pera Kitchen on a few occasions and each time has been a great experience. The food is delicious and the staff are always very friendly and attentive. Strongly recommend for couples who want a date night meal and also for families on special occasions.

We have visited Peri kitchen a few times now, and have had a first class meal every time. This week we visited again, it amazes me that only very few people have found this fantastic restaurant for lunch, apart from being very reasonably priced, the quality, And flavours, are wonderful, so fresh side salads. My Husband and I are always comfortable,the seating and ambiance , all make this our favourite place to eat. We have tried most pubs and restaurants in the area and are always very disapointed, and feel ripped off. Yes keep it up Peri Kitchen, we look forward to our next visit Pam Howey.

Saturday night couples dinner, great food and spot on service. The restaurant was nicely busy without being crowded. Service from initial greeting through to good bye was spot on. Mixed meze starter plenty for two, Levrek (sea bass) was cooked perfectly over the grill. Lamb kebab also great. We will come back.

We had a lovely three coarse lunch here today, we have tried all the Pubs and restaurants in Biggleswade for lunch, and Pera kitchen is the best food and the best value. The food was beautifully fresh, tasty. This is the fifth time we have eaten here, and have never been disappointed. And where can you get a three course meal for two and drinks for £35. First time visit. Very friendly staff, attentive but not intrusive. Background music not too loud. Had a lovely lunch (hummus followed by moussaka) at a very good price. Plentiful food with several side dishes. One of us was coeliac so vital to have gluten free food. This was taken very seriously by the staff who showed a chart of ingredients.

GO TO LAVISH IN STEVENAGE OLD TOWN INSTEAD!!!! Went for my birthday meal with my mum - out of all the places I could’ve gone, places I know are great, I chose here because I’d walked past and we’d always wanted to go - so we did. We were the ONLY people in the building, it was fine at first - we enjoyed our food, I don’t really get to go out with my mum a lot so really enjoyed spending time with her - until the end, I asked if the sticky toffee pudding (£8) had raisins in, so the server brought out the pre-made box they come in for me to read it myself (insane! £8! pre-made!) so we decided to just get a coffee which is ON THE MENU - was told incredibly rudely no, we don’t do that. Turkish coffees only (? What) so we asked why is it on the menu, we just want a latte, nope he got over the manager and he said they don’t do them. The attitude was insane, so so so rude. Genuinely insane. I will be telling everyone I know to avoid. McDonald’s has better service, to the person who made this experience so awful, you’re an embarrassment to Pera Kitchen.

Ordered takeaway with a range of food, everything was of good quality. The bread was flavourful and cooked so well. All the mezzanine food was also very good.

Meat was so juicy, tender and full of flavour and cooked to perfection! We'll definitrly be coming back!

I use pera usually every couple of weeks ever since it opened. I have never experienced the alleged rudeness and bad service mentioned in some reviews. Always a good experience my family and friends from all over the country ask to go there

Absolutely amazing food. You just want to keep eating even when you are full! I could make a meal of the bread alone! Just superb! Now a family favourite! Driver was super polite and the food was piping hot. Lovely , lovely, lovely!

2024- booked table for mothers day, service was very attentive and food came out tasting great. 2022, lunch again was great Had lunch for 2, was very pleasant inside and staff were polite and delivered service with a smile. Had the 2 course lunch and the food portions were perfect and tasted great, and the complimentary mezze were very authentic. Will definitely return to try the evening menu./ back again with family, had a great time with excellent service and authentic food, cant wait for the next visit.

Went here for the first time last week and had the lunch menu which was superb. Food was very tasty and piping hot. Staff very attentive and the cheapest prices we’ve come across Nothing was too much trouble will def go back again and highly recommend

Easy to order, delivery guy was super friendly and polite, food portions were large, fish was amazing, imam was delicious and kids portions of lamb shish were very tender. Other Turkish restaurants we’ve tried have always been too salty, but Pera was spot on! Delicious!

The service we experienced was excellent. The choice was sufficient. My only negative was the blandness of the meal. This was my second visit and both times l feel both meals lacked spices and "umph"

Boxing Day and a complete change to our routine by going out to lunch. The food was delicious and service very good. I always enjoy eating here and reasonably priced.

Neither here nor there, it was a bit lacking. The meal is good but for the price paid I was expecting a little more. We usually go to St Neots but decided to give this one a go. My feedback would be to use basmati rice instead of boiled, offer the table more bread and give a little more food. At almost £20 for a main which is mainly one chicken breast, a handful of rice and some salad I felt short changed. St neots definitely has a better experience overall and the quality is better. The restaurant is beautiful but it was very noisy.

Very welcome service If you need find some place for your dinner and forget to booking it you can have any space here. Me and my friends wanted to go out for dinner and Pera Kitchen was a great idea. Very welcome service and always busy. Food: Huge menu for meal and drinks We are ordered starters and we was so full before main course 😅 Olives,Turkish bread with sauce on the side,beef spicy sausage and something else For main whole fish,chicken wings and grill mix was delicious especially Lamb shisha😋 Also we had cocktails and paid £115 for 3 people Highly recommended to eat in

Always a great welcome and service. Food is excellent the Pera platter in particular is fantastic value.

I admit to being a little disappointed with my meal. Although starters were great, my main was not so good. The chicken was great, but there was too much cold yoghurt just poured over the top. It made the dish go cold quite quickly. The rest of my party also felt starters were better than mains (calamari, mixed, moussaka). Other people we know have been and loved their meals, so maybe we just hit an iffy night. Would we try it again? Not sure. It was, to us, quite expensive for an ok meal

We had a lovely three coarse lunch here yesterday, all freshly cooked with lovely salad and light rice perfectly cooked. Great place to eat , plus the heating was on unlike a lot of eating pubs and restaurants in Biggleswade.

This place is amazing. I have no higher praise than 5 stars all around. From the food to the service to the actual place. We've been there dozens of times and I've never, not once, been disappointed. The waiters are kind and professional. They interact with our kids and are accommodating with things like chips instead of rice, changing the veggies for specific ones our kids like, splitting meals into various plates, etc. It is simply a great place, whether you’re eating with family or for smaller, more intimate meals.

We had a family dinner and it was lovely. Staff were very friendly and the food was very tasty. We will be going again.

Said they prefer cash then short changed me. Didn't like it when I pointed it out and said it was because they didn't have the coins.

Attempted a phone order on a Friday night. After a lot of to’ing and fro’ing trying to communicate a mobile number I placed the order for pickup - 1 kids shish and a prawn dish. The Person on the phone when we said “one kids shish” said 6 pieces? …we thought he was trying to communicate the number of chunks of meat so we repeated the order - 1 kids meal and a prawn dish. He kept saying 6 pieces (not portions) ..so we said ok. As I was ill (and infectious) I sent my son down to pick it up. They had made 6 kids meals and then sent my 11 year old son away brusquely. He was very upset at his treatment and how they shamed him to come back with £120, We’d ordered 2 dishes at £23 total Even though he repeated what we’d ordered they sent him away. When he got back in tears I called them up - they were very rude and kept hanging up the phone offering for me to come down there, somewhat threateningly, and deal with it face to face. When I did get to talk to them I asked for the manager but was just put back on to the angry person that served us. I couldn’t go down as I was illand my 79 year old father in law has difficulty walking. So he couldn’t go. There was no way I’d send my son back. In fact it was my father in laws 79th birthday and he’d asked for Turkish! Lived in this town for a decade and we’d often take visiting friends and family to Pera (the food is fine) but that’s me done with this spot.

Went for lunch with friends, food was very tasty, plenty to choose from, presented well and very good price, waiters very efficient and pleasant all in all a very nice place to have lunch.

The food was amazing and delicious! Incredible service and they were very attentive to our needs e.g. checking how our food was, whether we needed any more drinks etc. There was a large variety of different dishes, with many vegetarian dishes to choose from!

minimum £20 for delivery is annoying but it was delivered on time and the food was great!

After an exhausting 18 hour day at Wimbldon tennis and a 2 hour drive home, we needed food. The majority of the car voted for this restaurant over a trip to McDonalds. My god we was looked after well by all members of team from start to finish. We had started, mains and a dessert which is VERY rare for our family. But the food was amazing, cooked to perfecting, served piping hot and presenting amazing. Everyone on the table enjoyed the whole night and it was a great place to end a long but lovely day out as a family. We will be returning, thank you.

Had a fantastic meal here with friends this evening, the food was exceptional and the service was brilliant. Really friendly staff who went above and beyond. Went here for a family meal on saturday, 7 people, 4 adults, 3 children, great service, beautiful food children's meals were as big as the adult meals will definitely eat here again also good idea to book a table as it does get full up quickly

Consistently great! Have eaten here a number of times over the past few years, and regularly enjoy a take away from there too. Food is always absolutely delicious and is great value. Take aways have been extremely reliable, and staff and service when eating in has always been great too.

5 of us Enjoyed a Birthday celebration at Pera’s (Turkish) Kitchen last night. Highly recommend this restaurant - best vegetarian Mousakka I’ve ever eaten. Great menu, huge range of drinks (If you’re a coffee lover, make sure you have a Turkish coffee). The staff were amazing. Attentive, friendly, polite, and very professional.

Having been before we was looking forward to going again however it was not a very nice experience. Our prawn cocktail for two of us was lovely however one course of kofte starter was very fatty. Our mains were good but our choice if desserts was very bad.We asked for 3 choices before getting one that was i stock! When i complained about this a waiter was very argumentative and so was very rude so we paid our bill and left but will never return.

This is the second time I have been here, the staff and food fantastic 😋 and also the company I was with too. I throughly recommend this place.

We went there for Mother’s Day and it was soooo nice

I read the reviews recently, so I was a bit worried about service etc. It was a Friday night around 19.00, was relatively busy. Service was impeccable and couldn't fault it. Food was lovley didn't wait that long at all for the main courses, couple of drinks and good company it arrived. Yes, prices have gone up but haven't everything. Staff overheads electric it's just what we need to get used too. Go and try for yourselves.

Food was beautiful if not a little expensive (but cost of living and all that). But the staff- wow! Impatient, rude. Kept coming up and down to my table like they were on a rubber band asking to take my plate when I wasn't finished. Snatched the bread we hadn't finished and took it away without asking. Then decided to keep us waiting for 20 mins when it was time to pay the bill. Blacklisted from my takeaway list!

Went in this place yesterday with my brother and what a pleasant warm welcome and fantastic outstanding service i felt relaxed and so happy absolutely 1000% recommended lovely staff finger licking good food and ambient lighting for relaxed mood will be my regular for sure and ill add the prices are very reasonable considering the fresh and lovely food they present to you god bless and all the best for the future you will be seeing me again and again :):):)

Booking system is ridiculous, no name taken on arrival for a 8pm booking and walk ins being seated before us then told we have a 1 hr wait for a table. If you are fully booked then please do not accept walk ins and honour your bookings

Booked for my daughters birthday, table of 7 First course arrived on time but second course took another 70 minutes. Staff didn’t seem to care. Won’t be back which is a shame as food was great but service was truly awful.

Wow , booked a table for 7.45 , turned up and told half hour wait , obviously overbooked, then card machine not working? , That will be let's not put it through the books then , told need to get cash from cash point , it's 2023 not 1883 !! , Ridiculous, I used to like this place , not anymore, don't try to kid a kidder ....

Brilliant. Really delicious food from a cosy, modern and well equipped restaurant with prompt and helpful service. Big party of 15 was no problem as all dishes came out in time together, hot, fresh and exceedingly well presented. Super tasty charcoal grilled lamb washed down with a juicy Turkish house red. Price-wise.. a little higher than average but great portion sizes, and a culinary experience made up for that. Will be returning.

Really impressed - the food is very high quality, good portions, extensive menu, friendly service.

So we went out tonight with friends 4 people table booked for 7.30pm. By 8pm still waiting on a drink! Had to leave my arm up in the air waiting did actually consider phoning the restaurant to remind them about our table! Places food order at same time as knew wait would be long. SO disappointed with meals - portions have SHRUNK massively and prices have hiked. Very little bread and sauce for 4 adults and salmon steak instead of fillet as it used to be - no warning of this. Of course as soon as the bill arrives then staff are hovering! No where to be seen when we wanted something. Then air con gets switched on full blast and front doors left open to freeze you out at. Won't be back now will stick to St Neots or Stevenage Turkish restaurants.
