Wow. Amazing food. Great portion sizes, good value for money and exceptional service. Hard to tell from the outside how good this place is. 6 of us ate here on a Sunday. Some chose the Sunday roast, some had traditional pub grub (burgers / fish & chips) and I had the meze.... The real surprise here is how the kitchen manages to produce such different cuisine all to the same high standards. Will definitely come back again.

Visited on a Sunday in December, with 3 others, 3 of us had the Xmas set menu. Delicious food at a good price. Lovely bottle of wine. Excellent service from our waiter Nick. Would definitely come here again.

Lovely pub/ restaurant with friendly staff, serving traditional English food with a Turkish twist. The food was delicious, fresh and they give you so much of it- make sure you come hungry!

We were a table of 10 on a Sunday. The food was plentiful and delicious. Most of us had kebab related meals but the roast that was chosen looked amazing too. Puddings all were scrumptious 😋 Service was excellent. Nothing was too much. Asking if anyone wanted anything every time they were at the table. Never had to chase anyone down to order something. They were attentive without needing to lurk about!! Two of us were also kids - 10m and 2y. High chairs provided for both, although not used. Room for our (admittedly not overlarge) pushchair next to table so baby slept in there 👌🏻 On the whole would highly recommend to anyone. Going again for an evening dinner very soon 🙂

Menu had great choices. Had the Sunday beef roast, all elements well presented and tasty, minor criticism is beef was a little tough so next time I'd have one of other meat options.

I have eaten at The Bell Westoning many times and every time I have it’s been wonderful. The service is second to none and the food quality is excellent. The variety of Turkish food options is vast and are freshly made to a very high standard. I ordered a lamb shish and chops with truffle chips which was exceptional. The environment is friendly and welcoming with a cosy atmosphere. I continue to come here and will be back in the future. Thank you to Tori, Nick and the rest of the wonderful team!!

The food is delicious, with generous portions. Service is fantastic, the waiter is always so friendly and accommodating. He even brought out some complimentary olives and chips because he overheard us talking about them. Highly recommended this restaurant for a relaxed and satisfying meal!

Shall certainly go there again. The portions were reasonably priced and were large. Came out feeling quite full. The menu is largely Turkish, which makes for an interesting experience.

1st visit well looked after will come again :)

Can I just say I have social anxiety no lie yh but this bar woman behind the bar I think her name is Gabby, blonde woman very pretty she was absolutely lovely to me n made me feel welcomed af, she was absolutely brilliant gave the best customer service she should get more for what she does she's truly an icon and she needs more credit for what she does so this is a review to say because of her Specifically I enjoyed my time here and would definitely come back knowing the staff are so welcoming and friendly.

Dinner for four. The service was excellent - nothing was too much trouble. The waiter ensured that we all had a lovely evening with great food. Freshly cooked, tasty and plentiful. Highly recommended.

An absolute gem to find, almost by chance. Part way through a cycling trip, we stumbled across the Bell - we needn't have looked any further. Nick and his team were very accommodating hosts, and the food was magnificent. Lovely, fresh, and very well priced. Shame we live so far away, otherwise we would be very firm regulars. I couldn't fault it in all honesty. The service was lovely and quick and the food was very tasty and fresh. I'm gluten intolerant so this place is perfect. You wouldn't know it was gluten free. Most enjoyable from start to finish.

Lovely food, very large portions. Only complaint was the wait time and the lack of drinks when they were ordered.

Wonderful to have so many gluten free options, including GF beer. I could have fish and chips and a cake dessert. I think it's so important for us with gluten issues to have choice and the Bell certainly gives us that!!!

Went for a friend's birthday and 12 people in total , The food took so long to come out and when it did items came out different times so part of your meal was cold. One person ordered chicken wrap and had chicken breast inside with one piece of odd chicken wing inside. Ordered a halloumi salad which wasn't salad but halloumi on a dry wrap. Would never go there again

Delivery through just eat. Really dissatisfied, burger was large but burnt, dry and chewy, hardly any cheese, next to no sauce, and all lettuce thrown in the box. Oh, and my fries missing. That is just my meal, other things missing from order. Won't be using them again. :(

Went back for another visit and the food was just as good had the wraps chicken and lamb Shish I loved the lamb and sweet potato fries. Lovely service will be back again.

Their Sunday lunch is never a let down

Whole place stank of bleach making us feel quite unwell. Food was nice, good sized portions but very expensive for what you got in comparison to other similar restaurants we have visited unfortunately. Nice enough but with other venues a similar distance will consider those first before here unfortunately.

First time at the Bell under current owners and very pleasantly surprised at the quality and variety of food on offer. The young lady (new to the job) who served us was lovely and attentive so big shout to her as she is a credit to the business. Highly recommend!

Had an unexpected lunch with family in what I believe to be a not well enough known gem. We were greeted by a friendly, charming and attentive staff member. The menu was a delight to read and as a Turkish cuisine lover thrilled me. The menu does offer sharing platters, some amazing burgers (I was told by one of our party who on a previous visit had had one) and some traditional dishes, so there is something for everyone. Our lunches when they came looked and smelt awesome. After the first bite I knew I would be a regular diner from that point. An even bigger bonus....they have a delivery service! I didn't get to try the cocktails but one of our party had one and thoroughly enjoyed it. So trying them will be on my to do list. As for prices I think they are extremely reasonably. A special thanks to Nick who helped make the service experience special. Chefs a big thank you and keep enjoying your passion for creating such delights to eat. I will be recommending and spreading the word about The Bell you little gem you.

Been here once before for some lunch and food and service was lovely. Came here again as was in area and once again had a beautiful experience. Couples and family would like this if you like a touch of class. Recommend 5 Star

Called in for lunch for first time. Good menu with English and Turkish options. Delicious mushroom soup , cold mezze and Caesar salad all excellent and good service

What a wonderful experience we have just had at The Bell Westoning. We arrived just on top of our doggy’s dinner time. We asked if we could order a little something for our doggy to keep him happy while we was eating. He demolished his sausage and chicken and says thank you very much to the chef. He says your a better cook than my mummy 🐶 whoof whoof Our food was just as gorgeous and thank you for the doggy wine

First time I’ve been here in a long time when I visited an uncle who’s regular it was, then it was a dark country pub with a great fire place with a box of chestnuts for people to roast on the fire. This time was for the wake of his funeral. A much brighter and more up to date pub/restaurant. Staff really nice and pleasant and the buffet food was really good.

Took the Chance on ordering a Sunday roast from somewhere new. Definitely not disappointed with it. Generous amount of meat ( two meats ) and veg. If I am completely honest I would have liked a few more roasties because they were really nice. Good value for money. Arrived within the time stated on justeat by a very friendly driver. Would definitely recommend it. A*

Ate at the Bell last night for the first time. Being celiac I am always very wary of eating at new places. I looked online at the menu and was taken back by the amount of gluten free food on offer. I spoke with the chef who also explained the manager is also celiac which filled me with confidence I wasn't going to be glutened. The staff were lovely, the food was great and I will definitely be returning. Thank you.

Great friendly pub with loads of atmosphere, staff are all friendly and helpful and we had an amazing meal.

Just had a lovely meal with my wife to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Omg we had the Real Platter and the meat was amazing. Honestly say the best meal had for a long time. They go way beyond what was expected and the quality shone through. Def will go back to try other dishes aswell as the much recommended sunday roast.

We visit the bell our local pub a lot! They always accommodate us and have space for the pram when we bring our young baby. The food is amazing and a fantastic choice of dishes. They have madri on tap my favourite beer! Staff are extremely attentive and serve food and drinks really quickly. Only thing I would love is some live football in the bar area. Overall a fantastic local pub/ restaurant 5 stars!

I've been getting delivery from here for quite a while, and unfortunately the quality appears to be declining. Lately I've noticed the chicken in the chicken burgers is very thin and dry, similarly the beef burgers are somewhat overcooked and tough. I've had two Sunday lunches delivered, the first was excellent, however the second was a significantly smaller portion, and the beef was extremely tough, to the point of being difficult to eat. On both, a request to have one item removed was ignored. I'm not sure if they have new staff, but the decline has been notable. I've not dined in at this location so can't speak to the service, however in fairness the delivery has only been late a couple times, and both times they called and apologised as the driver had run into some kind of issue, and the food has always been hot on arrival. Overall I can't wholeheartedly recommend here any more.

We had the Sunday roast and to say it was plentiful is an understatement. The food was delicious. I don't understand why the place wasn't full of customers 😕. The staff were very intentive. One little criticism is the beef was so thick it was quite hard to chew but it tasted fantastic. Two courses is quite a lot but the carrot and coriander soup was lovely.

Last minute decision to order a meal delivery for our wedding anniversary on 14th December. As we are both "foodies" and have ate in just about every restaurant in Bedfordshire and surrounding areas we can be hard to please. We selected from the meze menu together with a few extras. This was, without doubt, the best Turkish meal we have ever experienced. Well done The Bell at Westoning, congratulations to the chef, the staff and the delivery guy for getting a hot meal to us on a freezing cold night. We will be back!

I cannot speak highly enough on the quality and quantity of food supplied - absolutely amazing! The wife was away so I ordered Sunday roast for delivery opting for a three meat roast - I chose beef, pork and turkey. Admittedly it was about 20 minutes late on delivery but that's no major and the food wasn't hot enough but 2 minutes in the microwave sorted that. The three meat roast came with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, mash, roast carrots, roast parsnips, broccoli, cauliflower cheese, boiled red cabbage, boiled green cabbage, stuffing and extra gravy in a pot plus a small pot each of cranberry sauce, apple sauce and horseradish!! It was an absolute feast and very much worth every penny 👍 DO NOT ORDER UNLESS YOU'RE SERIOUSLY HUNGRY (but actually DO order it because you'll not regret it) 🤣 I cannot recommend highly enough - superb food, tons of it and excellent value for money 👍

Recently attended our works Christmas party in the marquee at The Bell. A great space for a party! Excellent buffet, room to dance & easy access to the bar, open until 1am. Staff were friendly & helpful, moving us indoors later on to allow our party to continue without disturbing their neighbours. Would highly recommend.

We just wanted to say a big thank you to the Chef and all of his team! The food was gorgeous. And this is the first dinner I have eaten from a restaurant since being diagnosed with having Coeliac Disease, and a nut allergy. Ate there for the first time on Wednesday with family and couldn't fault it in any way. Food and service absolutly first class. Being gluten free I felt totally safe. Had so much to choose from and all cooked to perfection and they offer takeaway. Can 100% recommend, whether you are gluten free or not. Will definitely be going back. Thank you x

Four of us went tonight,we all agreed it was one of the very best we had for a very long time.Two of the group live locally,we were visiting from Bournemouth ,we said next time we came back we certainly will dine there again.Would recommend a visit.

Had a Sunday roast delivered today, very late comping so phoned to see where it was got an apology and was offered a complimentary desert. When it eventually arrived no desert no Yorkshire pudding and it was cold. Such a shame because they are normally good.

Terrible music very, very loud on saturday evening until 11pm, this is not appropriate in the village. When emailed to ask to reduce volume was invited to come and listen. I dont have to come along I can hear it inside and I have no desire to listen to poor quality music.

Unfortunately I didn't get to go as Covid got me! But friends said it was really lovely, so will definitely book again

Lovely fresh food & great service

Visited there last night for food and drinks then again today for Sunday lunch. Staff very welcoming and really looked after us. Food excellent and had a really good time.

Visited here on the way back to Essex from Milton Keynes. Great menu with variety. We sat outside to eat in the sun. Parasols included!

Went for a meal this evening and we where blown away. From the moment we walked in the staff could not have been more attentive. We had a meze to share and everything was delicious. I had the lamb ribs with bulgar and it was so tasty 😋 my husband had the bean stew and that also went down a treat and our friend had the lamb shish and he also said how tasty it was. We will definitely be back !!👏

Awful experience both in restaurant and through just eat. In restaurant kofte kebab was raw - sent back Lamb shish was grisly - sent back Takeaway arrived with no breads (FOR THE SECOND TIME..YES I WAS A SILLY FOR ORDERING AGAIN THROUGH JUST EAT ) for the kebabs.manager said he'd sort it with just eat...he promptly left which was a bit cowardly and left his staff to pickup... Staff on phone were then useless. My impression and opinion is lying staff and awful quality twice over. Not worth the risk and well off the standards of previous owners when the bell was a great place.

Fabulous place 😀 Our first visit to The Bell and definitely won't be the last. What a great place , food was authentic and delicious, ambiance so welcoming and friendly but above all this the service was outstanding, all the staff were so attentive and really interested in making sure we were well looked after. recommend

Turkish restaurant and bar that also serves British food. Good car park. Enter premises by front door but if in wheelchair use side door, off of car park, to rear of property. Staff attentive and greet you on arrival but it wasn't busy so may have been a one off. Shown to our table, given a menu and asked for our drinks order. One drink that we ordered was off and we had to change it for a completely different one. We had a starter which comprised of a bowl of "hummus" and a small round of toasted bread cut in half. The hummus was too wet and the bread over done and too crispy. For our main I ordered a shish platter for £22.50. It was on the menu as a Lamb Shish and Chicken Shish. What arrived was 4 small pieces of lamb, 4 small pieces of chicken and a small pile of salad. Other items were missing but in total wouldn't have meant that you would feel any better about paying £22.50 for it. We had no deserts. The total bill for 6 persons was £180 Inc tip. Good service and surrounding but poor quality food. Our local Turkish restaurant has no worries about loosing us.

Lovely time we spent with the family and friends at the Bell Westoning. The afternoon tea was delicious and the staff very very kind and helpful, special mention to Tina and Leo. The selections of teas and sandwiches was the best I ever had for afternoon tea, and cakes were awesome, I'm very into sweets and so I know what I'm saying. Definitely The Bell Westoning is the place to be.

The bins are overflowing again, this is a health hazard. It is breaking "food safety and legal requirements". If this is how they disregard the law I would not eat here. After emailing and complaining about bins being left on the pavement for months they were finally moved and replaced with an old filing cabinet. The areas are now kept tidier but the local residents are subjected to loud saturday night outside noise that they think is music, it is total disgrace and a complete disregard to the local residents, otherwise known as potential customers!

Went for Sunday lunch with the family. Service was a little slow between the starters and the mains and when the meals did arrive they weren't very hot. It wasn't very busy either and they seemed to have run out of a few of the options (we were booked in for 2pm!). However, the staff were lovely, if a little lacking in knowledge, and the restaurant itself was very clean.
