Just found this little gem close to my work and ordered a full English to go with extras, easy to order on the phone, lovely staff and wow!, such a tasty breakfast, cooked to perfection and to order. Will definitely be a returning customer over the next 2 years😋 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We’ve been here several times for the all day breakfast, usually during or at the end of a 5 to 6 mile walk through Ampthill and Flitwick. Food is freshly cooked, nicely presented and great value. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend a visit here. Haven’t tried other menu items, but having seen what is served to other diners it looks delicious.

I’m so happy this place is open again after lockdowns. Husband had the all day breakfast, beautifully cooked and presented. I had jacket potato and beans. Both were delicious. The cups of tea are enormous and they provided soy milk on request. We sat outside and enjoyed the sun and the food. Delightful.

Obviously during COVID this restaurant has not been able to remain open during lockdown but when restrictions lift and we want a treat we will return for their excellent breakfast (other food available)

We like going there for breakfast if we are on an early shopping trip and can't be bothered to cook our own.

Goo for a quiet bite to eat, it is clean and the service is friendly. Parking can be an issue, you need to park a way away

Flitwick is the sort of place one hurries through en route to somewhere more salubrious. Apologies to all Flitwickians for that gratuitous abuse, but when your main attractions are a bisecting railway line and a large Tesco, that's the sort of impression you convey to the casual traveller. However...finding myself post a dull meeting and, in a cool, autumn lunchtime, short of sustenance, I made for a Costa and its limited menu of predictable comestibles, but ended up in this adjacent café, just through pure rebelliousness. And boy, I have made many worse decisions, to be sure. No greasy spoon this, the menu offered a wide range of fresh food, cooked to order and featuring daily specials, no doubt prepared on site. My baked potato came with a serious mound of freshly grated cheddar topped with a decent quantity of Branston, accompanied by a wee side salad (hey, I didn't claim to be imaginative about food choices, just fussy). Simple, substantial and well presented by a charming server; and here's the best bit: with a beverage, the whole meal cost £6.50. I've paid more for a mocca-chocca-sprinkled-skinny chai in a takeaway cup from Starbucks, with my name mis-spelled on its side by a punter-despising barista on minimum wage. Now I don't think, even based on my sparkling prose, that folks will beat a path to Flitwick anytime soon, but if the Fates deal you that sort of destinational hand, make sure that Café Latte soothes your hunger pangs. You can't miss it: on the High St, across from the railway line, with the hulking great Tesco visible in the near distance.

Went with my wife and found the restaurant is beautiful inside! We had abit of everything and I can honestly its one of the best Turkish restaurants I've eaten at. Came down from Milton Keynes and will definitely be visiting again with family and friends :)

Its a lovely location and great that its dog friendly. We found it in the summer for coffee with friends which was excellent. We returned for breakfast and service was so slow we said we wouldn't return. However, we like the place, so returned with friends on Saturday who parked in Waitrose for 90 minutes. We waited a full hour for food by which time our friends had to go and move her car. The waitress was good enough to bring a new tea-cake so it would be hot but the rest of us had eaten our breakfast without her. Had it been our first slow breakfast we have been more forgiving but, despite the delicious bacon, lovely setting and being dog friendly we won't return for a third try.

Great staff in a beautiful little pub. Small inside, but they have a brai shack at the back, which will be wonderful in the summer, I imagine. Didn't eat, but met the chef and he was lovely/charming!! Disco bingo was fun too..... would definitely return!!!!!

An authentic down to earth village country pub with restaurant and event marquee. Don't expect plush decor fake bookcases, piped music, haut cuisine and you won't be disappointed. It's shabby sheik putting it kindlybut if you are a local like us it's comfortable with lots of character. We visit ever fortnight for dinner and provided you stick with the simple pub grub and skip the more elaborate items you'll get grea,t good value food. Particular favourites for me are fish and chips, home made steak pie, the grills are good too as is the ham and eggs. My wife also likes the caisson chicken brest. Scampi is also reasonably good. The home made Cherry Pie is their signature dessert I recommend highly if you like cherries. The beers also good though limited choice on draught. They usually have an excellent guest beer. I note some criticism of Paul the landlord but take it from us he's an absolute treasure. So willing to help. He organises numerous events for the village such as hosting a free pensioners 3 course Christmas turkey lunch with a free drink. Entertainment laid on too. Many of the village pensioners attend. The Cross Keys is the life and soul of the village and one of the reasons we live here.
