Valentine 💝 night we had a wonderful night the food was so delicious and a very good price too ,definitely will be going again and taking the whole family next time would highly recommend this Turkish restaurant, staff are very friendly and give you a very happy and friendly welcome definitely deserve all 5 stars 🌟

We stayed in Leighton Buzzard (on and off) for 2 weeks in the spring of 2024. Number One Kitchen was our first supper out on the town. The food was delicious (so much flavour, colour and texture!), the mojitos were amazing (a non-alcoholic version for me and my kid), and the staff both attentive and friendly. The tables are small-ish, but the environment is bright and comfortable. I still think of it as a favourite meal almost a year later. You won't regret a visit!

Had a lovely meal here. We had the mixed kebab shish and lamb shank and it was cooked to perfection! Very tasty and excellent service! Would highly reccomend.

I recently dined at Number One, a Turkish restaurant, and was thoroughly impressed. The food was absolutely delicious and bursting with flavor. Tonight was my first visit with my family and I’m speechless. The food is simply amazing, along with the friendly warm atmosphere this place is simply the best. I have a new favourite place to eat in my home town and I’m already looking forward to coming back and I haven’t even left yet. I don’t normally leave a review until the next day or so but I’m so taken back by the quality of food and service that while I’m waiting for our dessert I thought I would share my thoughts. Went into the Resturant last minute, service was excellent, food was delicious, would 100% go back again!

Came here for a midweek lunch with a friend and both of our 1 year olds after seeing a lunch deal outside. The food was lovely, however the service was shocking. The restaurant was empty other than us. The man who served us was extremely rude and it was very clear he didn’t like the fact that he had two babies in the restaurant. The babies had put a bit of bread on the floor (because they are 1 year old babies and thats what babies do) and he was huffing and puffing waving his hands around and complaining about it. Due to this we won’t be visiting again which is disappointing as the food was very nice.

A firm favourite for lunch with me and mum. Big portions of the most delicious food, cooked to perfection. Always a big smile to greet you with. 5* service The Lamb Shank is mums favourite and whole heartedly recommends a try.

Amazing experience! We work at the local estate agent brown and merry across the road and came to celebrate a friends birthday and not only did the team create such a happy atmosphere the food was also amazing! Service was amazing! And they did great at catering to all dietary requirements! If u could I’d give them 6!

Cold food and missing items. This was always a good place to eat but wouldn’t use again. Salad less than half the size it used to be and only one little piece of bread with the chicken shish - not worth the price at all, basically a kid’s portion of food for full price. Have requested refund.

Nice welcome to a nice, clean restaurant on Leighton Buzzard High Street, good service getting drinks and taking orders, the adults had starters and they brought the kids meals with those so they didn't have to sit and watch us eat which I always appreciate! Very nice food, Lamb Shank the meat just slid off the bone, but with the edible basket thing it was served in was a little tricky to eat apparently. Asked for no salad with my main but it was put on the plate anyway, so bit of food waste there that wasn't needed. Despite a small choice of Desserts they only had 2 available which wasn't great! Overall would definitely return again.

Highly recommend this place. By far the best restaurant in Leighton Buzzard. Excellent food and service.

Great food, atmosphere and staff. We were not at all rushed and had a great service and food

First time we visited the restaurant in February for a late lunch and then again revisited with a larger group in March for a brunch on Saturday. Excellent table service with nice presentation. The service team served our orders dishes nicely, in addition, suggested us some additional adjustment of the quantity of foods and especial, turkish dishes, which all of us liked and enjoyed those. I liked the cocktails Mojito. We gave 10 out of 10. I hope, many of you would agreed the same.

Our go-to place for any event. Never disappointed either the food, drink, service and price.

If you live nearby don’t look elsewhere.

One of the best Persian cuisine in the Area. We used to order online, and this time we decided to visit the place, which we were completely satisfied with the food and service.

I had halloumi for starter, chicken shish as main. Served quickly (as I had limited time) which they facilitated. Both meals full of flavour, chicken well cooked. Lunch 2-Couse and drink was about £16. I asked for no onion in the salad, and they took this into account 👍. Pictures supplied are Galway through eating 😋

This place is a hidden gem. The food is absolutely amazing. Really good quality meat seasoned perfectly and served with a generous amount of sides, never been disappointed with food from here. Also serve really nice seafood. 👌 (the homemade bread is amazing Also!)

Food was cold and dry, complained and got a new plate but was still cold and over cooked. Service was chaotic, waiter rushing around, knocking things over and not knowing what they're doing. Not gonna bother again i dont think

This wonderful Turkish Restaurant, which goes unnoticed on the High Street, has very delicious food. We have been there a few times, and the food is always delicious and of good quality, with authentic flavours. The staff are very hospitable, and the table service is delightful. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We booked a table to take friends out for a thank you meal. We made a great choice! The food was delicious, el presented, good-sized portions, and the manager was very mindful of my dietary requirements . Would highly recommend, we will be returning.

Drinks far to expensive £5.50 for two cans, meat was tough salad looked wilted. Not impressed at all won’t be useing again thanks.

We order regulary mixed grill platter and the quality and the sizes are really dropped. Especially the last order, they almost sent a spoonful cold mezes. The reason we order mixed platter is because their cold mezes were lovely. I can’t do the same comment now. Definitely the quality has changed. As a Turkish person, I was feeling super lucky to have this restaurant in the town but I don’t think I would order again.

I went with a friend for Saturday lunch. We got a table right away. The place is very nice, neat, clean. We were served very nicely. We waited about 20 minutes for our food. The food is very good, the taste is wonderful. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Extremely disappointed. Ordered takeaway off a mix platter and lamb shish. Both coming total of £30 and the portion sizes are extremely tiny. A rip off and day light robbery are definitions of such stupid price hikes. Show some sense of decency and respect When you increase food prices to cater to portion sizes and not to steal from the common man. Remember you will be on the buying side as well

Needed somewhere to eat near to our accommodation found this gem went last night and again today back tomorrow can't recommend this restaurant enough you won't be disappointed. The whole team make you feel welcome and relaxed and by the time you leave full to bursting.

Tried this place for the first time tonight, very impressed! We got the Mixed House Grill platter, loads of meat (lovely meat not all fatty) 2 types of rice, salad and bread and dips all for about £45! Fed 3 people easily with plenty leftover. Will definately order again and go into the restaurant! Delivered within about 35 mins

Friendly staff, food wasn't too bad, but a fajita, isn't Turkish it's Mexican.
