Best Kebab in Central Bedfordshire

I love the new menu however, it seems they have got rid of the nice new Doner meat and reverted back to the old dirty mystery-meat Doner. I still highly recommend the food the rest of the new menu is amazing but such a shame they have gone back to selling the old Doner meat. You can get that anywhere, it was great to have something better. Anyway I will still continue to eat the old Doner but my wife won't touch it.

So dissappointed! Looks amazing when you walk in and smells pretty good. Unfortunately the doner meat was the most pale bland meat I have ever tasted. Was also cold, I didnt have far to drive home with my food but it wasn't even warm when I arrived back. The chilli sauce didnt taste of chilli and the bread (not pitta bread) was rock hard. Also what is the salad all about? Watery, mainly red cabbage and no lettuce!!! Gross!!Wont be returning. So many more better kebab shops in Flitwick and the surrounding area. Use to love a kebab from Best Kebab when they were near the train station. Such a shame, they've tried to do things different, unfortunately for me it ended up with food in the bin and being 11 quid out of pocket.

Love the healthy choices, the platters and salads however please please consider bringing back the big spinning stick doner kebab with these wonderful dishes. I miss the ‘not so traditional’ doner meat. All the above said, I do really enjoy the food here.

Food ok and yes they have a new shop....but now nearly £60 for 4 kebabs in Flitwick? REALLY? Better meat quality and cheaper within a 5 minute drive. As a result there’s now nearly always 10 people queuing at the little van round the corner. Think they have lost a big share of the market.When the novelty wears off and we head back to a more normal life I suspect they may struggle.

A new location, new menu and a fantastic new charcoal grill: the food is fresh, tastes amazing and the portions are generous. The old Best Kebab was good, the new one is better by far. This is one of the best takeaway’s in Flitwick

Best Kebab was always a go to option for great lamb and chicken shish. Since they moved down the street to the new premises, they've expanded their menu and it's even better. It's like being back in Stoke Newington, top notch restaurant quality Turkish cuisine available for take away or delivery. A really extensive menu. Lamb chops are wonderful!

Had the new menu very tasty and very hot when it arrived so was very happy with that and also the new menu was different but very beautiful I loved the rice with the different meats and bread was different but I loved it better than the other one and all I can say is would you think about putting the donner meat back on menu as I missed it so much I like to have the choice and I been told other people think the same as me as well I think putting that on rice would be so beautiful but that me I also had a sweet from there it was unbelievable beautiful you must try it if you have never had one before will definitely be ordering again I will ring up to see if you put that dinner meat on menu

Having used best kebab for a long time tonight tried them again since they have moved. I am not sure if there are new owners to go with new premises but it’s unbelievable. A nice new front with extremely clean areas inside is the second thing you notice the first is the smell of the food cooking it actually smells like a holiday restaurant the only thing missing the sun! Staff extremely friendly and service as promised ready on time. The food is cooked to perfection! Two large mixed kebabs one chicken a burger and chips total cost 54.30 yes you might be thinking expensive but it’s not a kebab this is a meal nice chilled salad dressed a rice portion bread and more meat that is grilled to perfection perfectly seasoned. Brings back memories of holidays these guys know exactly what there doing well done!

Wow. Absolutely delicious food. Fresh, well cooked, full of flavour and delicious. Slightly pricey but for a treat, well worth it. Would definitely visit again.

Having been a customer of Best Kebab for years I am loving the new Menu. I think the changes they have made are amazing, the new food is great and the quality is on a whole new level. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed the old fast food style kebabs. This upgraded menu is just what we needed in the area!

Food is cooked freshly to perfection!! Drove from Luton is definitely worth the travel. Great customer service. 100% will be visiting this shop more often. 10/10

Have been ordering from Best Kebab for the past 5 years+.Appreciate they have now moved premises and changed the menu, however our past 3 experiences have been terrible.I think they have over complicated the menu, and the customer service received has been awful, our orders have been wrong on 2 out of the 3 occasions, and when called to simply advise them (not looking for a new order) the service over the phone was very un-professional.My personal opinion is, I don’t have an issue with them changing the menu but I believe they should have kept the ‘traditional kebabs’ always offered and just extended the menu.The Doner meat is now very fatty, and the chicken is not as tender as it used to be and is very dry.The rice that the kebabs now come on top of is terrible, there is no flavour and is basically white boiled rice.Not to mention the price!!!! We payed over £57 for 4 kebabs which is horrendous.A disappointment.

The sams special is even better than before. More meat, more flavour and excellent value, you get a lot for your money. Customer service was amazing, cant wait till my next visit.

I think it probably depends what you want when you order a kebab, but unfortunately the new menu is not for us.They have a new establishment that looks great but the price and the quality of food is quite bad.I don't think "fancy food" when I think kebab. I don't want it to be laid on a bed of rice and salad. I don't like the fact it all comes separately, and that you have to pay for sauces.Our "wrap" was not a wrap at all.The meat was dry.We have been using these guys since we lived in Luton 11 years ago and have used them since we moved here but unfortunately we won't use them anymore.They have gotten SO expensive for what they are. It's such a shame because we do not have many takeaways in this area.

So have been a frequent visitor to the old establishment. They have now moved. Bigger kitchen, food is brilliant! Rice, deliciously cooked meat, fresh salads. If you can visit I really would. A true Turkish meal!

So they have moved to new premises and have certainly been busy, but it is a tale of two halves. For the wife, the char grilled lamb and chicken Shish was top notch and the char veg, rice and flatbread were a welcome change to a usual kebab experience. For me, who is more discerning of a “dirty” kebab, the doner was actually worse than a van kebab, grisly and bland. Coupled with a £35 price tag for 2 kebabs and a portion of chips and I think it will be a rare visit if the missus gets her way rather than a staple on the takeaway menu for us. What a shame.

Best kebab have moved into the old Pizza Paradise shop. It is no longer the lovely dirty kebab shop we love, but changed to a more traditional turkish kebab style takeaway. No more kebab meat and salad in a pitta, but a charcoal grilled meat with rice, unleavened flatbread and salad. a bit more upmarket. Certainly worth a go. It is early days. I think they are having a few start up teething problems, but hopefully will sort themselves out. I think the charcoal grilled meat needs a bit more refinement, but good enough as a first try. I wish them the best of luck. Will return again soon.

Visited Best Kebab tonight after being in London all day for work. The food is freshly prepared each day, salad was crisp and the chicken shish and lamb kofte had tonight was cooked to tenderness. The chips were piping hot, not soggy and had a golden crispness to them. As a lover of food I’ll definitely be visiting again on the way home from work! Thanks guys - Jake - Ivel Way

Love this place as now they deliver to your door and food amazing I love it as it’s so healthy as I always have the chicken kebab my husband has mixed and he loves that he tryed it for the first time and now he want have any think else chips are very good

Tried picking something up on the way home from work at 2215 (28/12/19)and the door was locked and they were cleaning up. Not exactly a late closing. Real shame

I had a large chicken shish and when I got home there was no chilli sauce to be seen. I’m sure I asked for it but it wasn’t there. Tbh I was so unwell I couldn’t be arsed to go back but next time I use them I’m going to ask for double. Besides that it’s the best kebabs in flitwick.

We always go to Best Kebab when we fancy a kebab. Although a little of the pricey side I can not fault their chicken kebabs. They cook it for me exactly how I ask “well done” and put the salad in a separate container so my pitta bread doesn’t go soggy before I get home. Hubby always goes for a mixed chicken & doner kebab with no salad. Absolutely love it!

Regularly go for kebabs/cheese burgers staff are very friendly and polite food very good and premises are in pristine condition

We go quite a lot and we get great service! They are wonderful people and we have never had a bad kebab. These kebabs are the best!

We chose a meal from the menu for four and ordered too much, but all was cooked to perfection and reasonably priced, did you know that reheated kebab is great for breakfast the next day....

As you’d want from a kebab, lots of choices. Good salads. Lots of extras. I would say their portions are slightly on the leaner side for each size ordered.

Actually the best cheesy chips evvvver. The mozarella sticks are awesome aswell. Food was hot and is always cooked to order so is never old.

I used to visit this place and enjoyed the food and the price. BUT recently the prices are higher and you get less, this is not a cheap eat establishment anymore. I ordered 2 kebabs and was totally shocked at how small they were, even 2 together would not have been enough to fill a child. the quality of the food was barely average and not well cooked, I will never go back here again and especially at £11 for a KEBAB, its not Haute cuisine its a takeaway. Wake up guys you will start losing money and customers.

Came here for our Doner kebab large, chips-and chicken,shish and kofte kebab. A Hamburger, and chips. Well chips seemed warm, and the donner meat, was like little bits, like scrap and lots of hard bits in meat. Not long thick meat,how it's just been carved off, bottom of the pan. Chicken seemed tough and not warm at all. It was either a bad night or just not up to normal standards. We prefer the one in Limbury Mead, Sammy's they always seem to be good meat. Cooked ok. And they look after you.

This is my favourite kebab place in this area. The staff are friendly and the food is very tasty. I always have the chicken shish-kebab and it's always been very good. They also listen to your order so if you say you want more of one thing than another they will actually facilitate this.

Been here on countless occasions and never walked away unhappy. Food is fresh and quick, portion sizes are decent for the price, meat is tender and sauces are spellbounding. The friendly service is a cut above the rest, staff are always smiling and approachable. I'm currently on Slimming world and I am able to choose a few of their options without feeling guilty, my current favourite is their large grilled chicken Kabab without the pitta, and they fill my box up to the brim with all the salad to compromise the missing bread. Absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend, it can seem pricy to a few people but trust me it's worth the money. First class

We often pop into Best Kebab after football or if we cannot decide what to have for an evening meal. the guys in there are always friendly and one guy always asks me about the football played that day. They look after you in there.

The kebabs are excellent and very good value for money. the chicken kebab is great, lovely tender grilled meat and lashings of toppings. The doner meat is good, fresh and delicious with the mint sauce! The cheesy chips are to die for!, a must anytime.

Kebabs from this place are cooked right in front of you and they are so good.It can be rather busy on a Friday and Saturday night so you might have a little bit of a wait but these things can't be helped!The staff are really friendly and you always get good service.

This is definitely the Best Kebab place for miles around! My son, who lives in London, won't visit without treating us all to kebabs from here! Been using this place for years both sober and drunk. Very clean, often see them cleaning when quiet, and really friendly patient staff. I'm not a massive kebab meat fan so I opt for the chip kebab or chicken burger both of which are awesome. Highly recommended place.

Grilled food is fab, Donner meet far to fatty and greasy even for donner meat. But stick to grilled meets and you will be most pleased nice fresh salad aswell.

Great kebabs and skewers. They are very friendly and give you HUGE portions! Chips and cheese and kebabs are my favs. The kids got their lamb and chicken skewers which were excellent! Love their garlic mayo too!

The mixed kebab 'special' which used to be excellent is now mainly doner meat and not much of the other types. Has also been less roasted vegetables the last couple of times. The salad portions are still extremely generous. You also get a free bottle of coke but a diet drink option would be good.

As far as takeaways go this one is very good, friendly staff good size portions never had a problem there after many visits. Can highly recommend

We have had a few take-away kebabs from Best Kebab and will definitely have many more. We normally get a take-away from there 3 or 4 times a month. We usually go for the lamb kebabs with a preference for the Kofta version. They is also a good selection of other choices some of which are displayed in the chiller. The food is really authentic and reminds us so much of our fantastic holiday in Kalkan. The staff are friendly and very efficient. The food is cooked while you wait and is always fresh and tasty. If you are looking for fresh food at very reasonable prices you need not look any further than Best Kebab.

Used to go past BK when taking my son too and from football and rugby - always dropped in for 3 mixed kebabs - excellent! Very clean, good choice and very good kebabs!

Had a couple of mixed kebabs for me and my son, you know when you just have to have a kebab and Best Kebab came up trumps and satisfied that need - great quality cooked fresh, great salad and a large choice of sauces - long may they continue.

I live in Ampthill, despite numerous pubs in the town, there is nowhere that stays open past about 10:30 to grab something to eat post-beers!Its not uncommon therefore for us to jump in a cab and travel the 2 miles down the road to Best Kebab.Ive eaten some Kebabs in my time, but I can safely say Best Kebab's chicken kebab is something else!Dont think its food for the inebriated either! Their kebabs are good at any time

Best Kebab does just that - fantastic Kebabs. You don't have to have had a large amount of alcohol before they taste good! The chicken kebab is especially good. The burgers too are well cooked. I've been coming here for 7 years and have never had a single "dodgy kebab". The service is fast, the place is clean and the staff polite and efficient (and with next to no staff turnover).
