The best Indian in flitwick and surrounding areas by far. We regularly eat at Olive in the restaraunt and takeaways but last night we took family from out of the area and they agreed its the best Indian they have had! This is the best Indian restaurant in the area. The food is excellent, with some different choices from the normal Indian fare and it is all freshly prepared, and they take notice when you ask for, say, something to be milder than usual. The food is delicious, and never swimming in grease, like in some places. Their green sauce is amazing with poppadoms, and there are a lot of delicious vegetarian options on offer. The staff are friendly and efficient and all wear gloves, which is a nice touch, IMHO. This is our go to place for a meal out.

Ordered a collection tonight online Turned up to say they’d not got the order Annoyed Re-ordered and they gave me a complimentary beer 2 minutes later they came out with my order - they had got it (the kitchen had made it?) yet front of house screen not showing them the order No harm done but they didn’t need me manning at them nor the stress!? My family and I went to Olive for my birthday meal. The staff were so welcoming and kind to us all. The service was excellent and the food was beautiful. The staff at Olive got me a birthday card with a lovely message inside which was such a kind gesture. We all had a lovely evening at Olive and would 100% recommend to others!

Local friends booked for a total of 6 of us on Saturday night, a great excuse to try the restaurant. From the moment we arrived, the staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. They recommended various dishes and we weren't disappointed. They also had an interesting range of never-seen-before naans! All their food was exceptionally tasty and not as heavy as some Indian meals can be. Finally, they kindly provided extra spoons to allow us to try their homemade Gulab desert. So often you only have ice cream, but this restaurant went the extra mile to make an excellent Gulab. If this is unknown to you, please try; my 5 friends were all impressed.

My go to spot for takeaways in recent years has been the Verandah in Ampthill, trouble is they’re never very organised and you often wait for ages for your food - way past your booked slot After last experience decided I’d try the Olive in Flitwick - now had a couple of curry’s from there over last couple of months and have been really impressed Quality of the food is great and on both occasions I’ve turned up and it’s ready to go The last order was for 10 of us (rugby World Cup Semi final night), even so, it was ready to go and piping hot - gave me a good discount and a bottle of cobra too Food, as I say, is very very tasty too Not eaten in as yet but always busy when I go for a takeaways Highly recommend
