The Chicken House in Central Bedfordshire

Delicious chicken (and I am funny about take away chicken lol) plus lovely service and super friendly staff, made me and my son very welcome and very full!! 🙂

A few weeks ago, my partner and I unknowingly walked into The Chicken House with just two mins until closing time! Ezra welcomed us in with open arms, was so kind and whipped us up the ultimate feast to take home. Thank you so much for being SO accommodating!!! We went back today to eat in and the food was equally delicious. Ezra and the team are nothing short of a ray of sunshine AND THE HOMEMADE SAUCES FROM HERE ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD!! If you’re looking for your next meal, you’ve found it!!

First time coming into this amazing restaurant.. We came in for dinner as family of 6 and none of us was disappointed chef H was amazing his foods was delicious we will be definitely returning for more. Thank you chef H and see you with your team soon keep it up

I have so many good things to say about this place!! I have no idea where to start 😭 The food here is amazing! When me and my friends get together, this is usually our go-to place if we want to eat. It's very easy to order and the seating is very comfortable (+ the person at the desk is really nice!!) They have flexible ordering options - you can order by phone, online or in person. The website is very easy to use and you can easily customise your order on there. You can also tell the kitchen about any allergies you have as well! Waiting times are usually really quick. It only takes around 10-15 to get your order normally, and even when they're busy it only takes around half an hour. Overall, this is a REALLY good restaurant. If you're looking for a place to eat, I absolutely recommend the Chicken House.

They've got the best food in Flitwick my favourite is their chicken wings and chicken wrap very delicious 😋.

I forgot to post a review so this will be a late one. Ordered the chicken shawarma doner with garlic mayo and over chips. Great tasting food and alot of food for the price. great staff too, the lady always remembers her customers and attention to detail.

Came here for my friends daughters choice of birthday dinner and they went above and beyond for her it was really lovely and my daughter now wants to have her birthday dinner here also! Food was amazing all the kids demolished the lot thankyou so much x

Lovely team and amazing food. I had butterfly chicken with peri chips and rice. My fave. My Daughter loves going here specially on her birthday. She really enjoyed her burger and birthday nuggets. We all really enjoyed our dinner out, was made super special with extra sauce, love and thought for her. She knows what she wants. We also enjoyed her birthday cake too which was nice. Food is always of a good standard, good value for money and most importantly, the manners of the nice lady in charge are superb. You can see the hard work this lady puts into her business and its a lesson and inspiration for us all. Superb!👏

You need to lower your prices. I live next to you and walk past most days to never see anyone in here. I have been once and it's okay and would love to go more but not paying London prices for standard fried food. Shame really. I used to live in Watford and get this kinda food half the price. This business is set for failure.

Hands down the worst chicken and chips I’ve ever tasted. Zero flavour and just tastes like water. Not crispy, just soggy and slimy.

Went with my wife and kids, Absalouty beautiful and very friendly will be returning again and again and again, also very very clean which is lovely to see so you know the food will always be half good but this place is more than just good 👍

We came in as a group of 9 as we heared of this place a lot and we wasnt wrong this place is AMAZING the food the staff and the atmosfer there isnt enough to explane you need to try it yourself you wouldnt be dissapointed

Been countless times, I nearly always go with my mate after work, no matter what time I can always enjoy the chicken wings. Always get met with the greatest service aswell. Can’t wait to try more of the menu.

What a great chicken shop! I’ve tried the regular 2 piece chicken and chips, the chicken shawarma and today I tried the peri peri chicken. Each time the food has been brilliant and the value for money is great. Not to mention the friendly staff, great service and the cleanliness of the restaurant. Will definitely be going back. I couldn’t recommend it more!

Ezra has been on my case for a good year to leave a review. Food and service is always on point. Ezra and Ali extremely friendly and always add in lollipops for the kids when I order delivery. My goto lunch order is a chicken shawarma in a bun with chips on the side. Not on the menu but Ali will sort it. They have just updated the peri sauce and it’s banging.

Ordered a delivery. Arrived within 30 mins. Driver very pleasant. Food delicious. Generous portions. I would recommend trying this restaurant, you wont be disappointed

My friend was ranting about how good this place was so I had to check it out. Best peri peri chicken I've ever had, good portion sizes, lovely staff. You can tell the employees take pride in the quality of the food.

Went in on Sunday afternoon 9th July with my son and 1 year old granddaughter. Made very welcome and they were attentive, I found the chicken wings nice but the fried chicken a bit on the tough side. Found it also a quite expensive

This is always a family favorite! We love the peri peri chicken and was told by the delivery lady that she makes all the marinades herself. Even better! The customer service is fantastic, always clear and precise on the phone when we order. The kids tried the popcorn chicken the last time we ordered and absolutely loved it, I was told I should have bought more! Can’t comment on the atmosphere inside as we have only ever ordered, but the lovely lady who takes calls and delivers is so nice and friendly. All round great service and lovely food!

The lady at the counter is my favourite part of coming here, she's extremely warm and friendly. The second best part is the design of the shop itself - if I could live in there I would. The cloud ceiling is so pleasing to look at.

Since the day they opened I have become a regular. Always greeted with a smile and always served with fresh and tasty food. Their attitude and food is always consistent. Professional service and always fried using new oil. Got food for all the family on the Easter bank holiday and everyone was impressed. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Slightly worse food than the average takeaway in my opinion. The prices are also slightly higher than average.
