A fantastic restaurant with an amazing menu. They have your traditional curry dishes and excellent Indian street food. Sam was excellent and the service was great

I am absolutely appalled by this restaurant. I arranged a birthday meal for my mother two months before and they cancelled 2 hours before the reservation. They gave no reason why, did not apologise and did not offer any form of compensation. I would not recommend this place at all.

I would highly recommend Olive. I used to use another Indian in Steppingley but its gone downhill badly so now switched to Olive as my Indian of choice.

Just had my first order from here after waiting a while to try it out and I'm blown away. Easily the best indian food I've had outside of India, everything tasted fresh and had real depth of flavour, the aubergine peanut and monkfish curry were particularly good. As soon as I opened up the paratha and saw it was already smashed up and flakey I knew it was going to be the real deal. Worth every penny and I can't wait to come and eat in. If you're on the fence about where to get a curry from just go for it. Properly impressed all 7 of us, all agree it was the best indian food we could remember having. Thank you, Tom

Hi I would like to leave a review about this restaurant that I had a experience at on 6 September me and my family went to have some dinner first of all the staff was very rude and want me and my family to pay for or food after we had placed or order they are very racist and shouldn’t be allowed to treat people like this and said they had trouble form our people before I was never at this restaurant before in my life it was our first time there absolutely disgusting behaviour from them

The food was nice but unfortunately it was let down by the staff. We had two kids with us, I asked for some rice to come out when ready for one of the kids to eat and they said no it will be cooked when meat is done. Then the kids made a bit of a mess but not too bad as I was trying to pick up as much as I could and they gave us horrible looks after looking at the mess on floor. And just threw down the food and barely said what the dishes were. Due to this I would not return even though the food was nice.

Food is amazing you will pay more than most other Indian restaurants but is worth the money loved it very authentic food

13 of us including a 3 year old and a 2 week old baby were at Olive last night for my daughters 14th birthday. Right from the booking the staff were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. They made a fuss of the birthday girl and wrote a really lovely birthday card. Above all that, the food was outstanding. Delicious aromatic flavours, clearly made with good quality ingredients. The menu offers something for everyone whether you want traditional Indian or want to try a speciality regional dish that offers something different and the team are happy to adjust the spice to suit tastes. And you have to try their famous Olive exclusive Jaupuri Green Sauce - delicious! Thank you to Sam and Shah and the chefs at Olive Flitwick for a really lovely evening.

Brilliant place to come and eat. My family and I were greeted well by the staff who remembered us from our very first visit. The ambiance is brilliant, food is excellent, cannot fault. We were waited by Shah, a great host. The manager is also very pleasant and met all of our needs- Thank you Olive-Flitwick branch, for sure will be visiting again, oh and the dosas are spot on!
