The best restaurants in St James Castle Point East of England

Me and my wife have lived in Hadleigh for a few years now and this was the first time we have ordered delivery from Nims. It was excellent , the order was taken efficiently , the food came slightly quicker than expected , and it was really hot and really good. Me and my wife are not expert on Thai food but we know what we like and this was all spot on. We will be back, thank you !

Great as always. We go every week and have done so since it opened some years ago. Excellent food and great service. They always go the extra mile to look after their customers.

Very quick and tasted lovely. Got Pad Thai with spring rolls. 100% worth the money, with Pad Chow Mein (which was delicious also), came to £22 quid. Well worth every penny and wasn't pricey at all. Thank you!!

Hot chocolate with carmel on a chilly afternoon, perfect.

Hands down the best fish and chips in Hadleigh! The fish is always fresh with the perfect crispy batter, and the chips are just how they should be—golden, fluffy, and delicious. The portions are generous, and the staff are always so friendly and welcoming. You can tell they really care about what they do. Whether it's a quick takeaway or a Friday night treat, Peggotty’s never disappoints.

No longer the mayflower Indian restaurant, its under new management as a Bangladesh restaurant, wild ducks. Second night so a lot of learning on the job...... Food ok, tasty , with different foid offerings but rookie errors ie. Music to loud, Food not served at once, cold plates , lights very bright so lacking ambiance. However, staff welcomed feedback so hopefully improvements will take place . Pricing very reasonable in these inflationary times, sizzling wild duck and chicken Kathmandu particularly tasty. Will be back.

Had a takeaway. Tasted more like a ready meal from a supermarket. Curry was bland and powdery. Would not recommend.

I visited this place over the weekend. The cakes are excellent and they've got a marvelous selection in their cabinet that you can check out as you walk in. I feel the staff could have been a bit more attentive in terms of taking orders, for example taking an order from my friend but not asking if I wanted anything else too. I felt I was having to try quite hard to get their attention and this is something that could be improved.

Popped in for a couple of beers. Friendly locals and staff. lots of space to eat, drink and watch sports.

Placed an order through App, one pizza had an incorrect ingredient so called up and Bradley in Hadleigh (that rhymes) was fantastic on the phone, immediately sorted the problem and resent the correct pizza. Always hot, always fresh, those chicken wings are naughty. Thanks.

Lovely lunch & home made cakes served, very reasonable price. Although need to pre-book, open Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. Excellent idea to allow the trainees to learn & practice their skills.
