Update Christmas Eve 2024 Back in Swaffham visiting family. Went to one of our favourite restaurants anywhere to get a takeaway. Very, very busy given it was Christmas Eve, but no problem , order taken and the customary Cobra and red wine whilst waiting. A perfect Eve of Christmas. Long may this restaurant prosper. It most certainly deserves to!!!! Update March 2024. Back in Swaffham visiting family, back at Indian Summer for takeaway. Usual Cobra and red wine whilst waiting (part of the delight of the Indian Summer and our reason for not ordering online or by 'phone). The usual superb customer service and of course the superb food. Maybe we should convince them to open a "satellite restaurant" where we live in the far north of Scotland, we certainly need it. Would happily award more than 5 stars in all respects. Update August 2023. Back visiting family and a trip to get our favourite takeaway. As usual a glass of Cobra and a glass of red wine whilst waiting. The manager and his staff are superb and have first rate customer service skills. You are made to feel to be THE most important people in the restaurant. Excellent food, excellent service, very good pricing and generous portions make a meal from Indian Summer most desirable. No hesitation in recommending FIVE STARS in EVERY respect. See you next time we are down here. Update February 2023. Wonderful, friendly reception, excellent service, fabulous food. Truly a 5* establishment. Update December 2022. Back in the area again and headed to Indian Summer for a takeaway. Customary glass of Cobra and red wine whilst waiting. Excellent service and food. A great restaurant. Update June 2022. Back in the area - went for a take away. Order placed, shown to a table to enjoy a superb pint of Cobra and a glass (large) of red wine to await our order. Made to feel that we were the most important customers in the restaurant. FIVE STAR SERVICE and when we got back to our relatives a FIVE STAR range of Indian dishes. Absolutely wonderful 🙂, how I wish we had a restaurant of this quality where we live in the far north of Scotland. Original comment 2021. A wonderful evening enjoying the excellent food and excellent service. All in all, superb. Would definitely recommend. Will certainly be making another reservation when next in the area.

Rubbish they advertise around where I live and then when you order they just cancel your order and won't deliver here ! Wasters

Wow, we often use this pizza shop, the pizzas are great and great value. Today we decided to get the super dirty fries........Wow! So glad we did, they are amazing! Definitely be getting these again!

you're delivering to the wrong address

Used to order from here once a week. The last 2 times have been absolutely awful. Food tastes absolutely awful this last time making my wife incredibly ill. Absolutely shameful.

Looked on line for a carvery and found some good reviews for the Saxon. It turned out to be a very dissapointing visit. When we entered the car park it looked rather neglected. Entering the pub and things looked slightly better and we were served at the bar quite quickly. The restaurant was empty, the tables whilst clean were completely empty . There was also nothing on the walls so the room felt very stark and empty. The food was on one heated trolley and the meats were pre carved in dishes which wasn't a good sign as I always thought a carvery was where you carved the meat to serve it. We were served fairly promptly but som of the food was not yet on the trolley. On taking the plate I noticed it was very cold, when we got sat down we found the broccole was nearly cold and because the plates were cold, the food soon became cool. The rest of the food was cooked pretty well but nothing to praise up. We won't be visiting again.

Came for Fish & Chips on a Sunday Bank Holiday week end. Told No Fish...what !! So I gave 1 star this time.
