Lovely food, delivered hot and efficiently.

Seated and served straight away, food was as always well cooked and very tasty - served today by Kata the manageress who was delightful and very friendly.

Wanted a quick lunch and decided to both have the souvlaki wrap (gyros) for £10. It turned up within minutes of ordering, we hadn’t even received our drinks! Upon opening it up mine fell open to reveal its contents, or lack of them! The chicken was tiny cubes of reformed chicken ( like you get in a bad nugget) it wasn’t freshly cooked or grilled, in fact it looked like it was frozen and defrosted. There were about 8 tiny cubes less than 100g, 5 soggy chips, less than a tablespoon of tzatziki and a scattering of lettuce and onion… DISGUSTING! Both were the same! I didn’t complain because I was on a first date. We then ordered an ice cream to share, it came in a huge glass but with 2 tiny scoops at the bottom of it, less than a child’s portion! Staff were ok though

Went here for mother's day I had the lasagna I've had worse but can't think when about the only food cooked ok was a burger most unapatising.tables were to close

Had a break when at Braintree Freeport. Service was friendly and efficient. Two pasties which we very much enjoyed. However the cauliflower bhajee pasty was luke warm and when probed had to be reheated but this was done with apology The coffee was not great. Small cups and it tasted burnt. I didn't expect my coffee to come from a basic machine. We would return to give it another go as small tweaks would make it much better. Price was reasonable.

Went up there with a freind for a catch up, we decided to have food and OMG. We had the burger meal and it came with so much and every bit of it was lovely, I had to bring the chicken burger home for my son and left half of the chips and all that we had was £5. Friendly and very welcoming staff lovely place. And forgot to say the most important bit the Pinot Grigio Blush was excellent

Great food, great atmosphere and our server, Handy, was an absolute delight! She was polite, kind and really funny. She made our visit really enjoyable!

Very friendly staff,excellent environment,great welcome. Very varied menu and excellent size portions. Can get very busy so we always book to guarantee seating

It isn't what it once was sadly. It is now just another average chinese takeaway here in Braintree. A few years ago it was best chinese

Blown away. Wife and I have visited Wags all over the country, but this one showed us what we should have been eating. There was not a single dish that didn't come across as a level up from any we have had before. Chili Squid, Ebi Katsu, Choi Han, Duck Donburi, Gyoza. Every part was exceptional. The kitchen team were absolutely on pointe. Staff were all welcoming and attentive, and enthusiastic about their job. Will be going again next week to make sure it wasn't a freak occurrence.

Had to go to Wickes and see catering van in car park. Nice clean van, food very tasty. Burgers and sandwiches. Lovely friendly couple running it. Exelent.

Drink order was fine, service was rude and passive aggressive. Slamming drink down, no please or thank yous. The usual morning girl is lovely and friendly and smiles. Two women today not at all. It’s not hard to deliver service with manners and a smile.

Not impressed with the staff, we watched a member of staff fussing a large dog, rubbing all around its head, then she went to the counter and pick up a tray, to bring to our table, she did not wash her hands How disgusting Why do they allow dogs in Costa ??? Where food and drinks are being served. We did complain to the manager, and she said she also saw what happened ! But did nothing about it ! Dogs should not be allowed in places where food is being served 😡
