Food passion in Braintree

Covid safe and clean. Was a pleasant day so could sit on their outside patio area. Had a bacon sandwich, friends had cake. Bread was dry and I wish places would use proper butter, not some spread. Even with bacon you could still taste it... Service very friendly and pleasant.

Fantastic pub, cheap as chips, large breakfast £8.50. Fabulous fire, friendly bar staff. Excellent pint of Stella. Varied menu, we got asked twice how the food is, there is plenty of it.

We have been using Taste Of China for the last 6 months and the food has been delicious, the staff are lovely and helpful and the Chef is a genius, Ordered a feast on new years eve and it was delivered piping hot and and was delicious.

Nice pub. I order the Mac and cheese was same size as Sainsbury’s microwave meal.

Booked a room and stayed the night in one of the large rooms. I lived in Coggeshall most of my life so I know the Hotel very well Had a nice meal too...Doing it again soon
