Costa Coffee in Braintree

Drink order was fine, service was rude and passive aggressive. Slamming drink down, no please or thank yous. The usual morning girl is lovely and friendly and smiles. Two women today not at all. It’s not hard to deliver service with manners and a smile.

Delivering to Tesco’s popped in to a cappuccino enjoyed the visit today, and the girls were friendly great service

The staff are absolutely fantastic very friendly and accommodating, the shop its self is clean and tidy but with one exception the blue sofa which in my opinion should go as its full of stains and doesn't look nice. Food is hot and delicious 😋 main bar is very clean and tidy, Amy Danyel Molly and Carter are the most cheerful young people ive met.

Damien was lovely, the new guy without the name badge needs to learn how to smile he was miserable even though I said thank you for spending my money in your shop.

I love a costa normally but I went with my friend. I ordered a cinnamon latte and my friend ordered a toffee hot chocolate and they put the toffee and the cinnamon in the hot chocolate so I had plain coffee

Good Costa,with reasonable seating area. Cappuccino with the excellent brown toast all for under £2 with the help out discount.

The staff were so so friendly and got to know me. Best service ever and a delight at the end. Drinking the rich flavour coffee!!

Decent enough chain friendly staff

Service is very slow 9 times out of 10, and coffee not made very well. Today's visit, I ordered the seasonal Bonfire Spice Latte. It was comparable to a cup of warm milk but there was hardly any coffee in it let alone flavour of syrup and the barrista didn't even bother with the spice garnish on top. Never usually impressed and today is no different.

Perfectly fine, the same high standard of coffee as all other Costa shops. The space is a little less inviting than a high street version but it caters for shoppers and assumes people are not bedding in for long. Also, there are lockable cupboards to park your trolley so you can visit after you have shopped. The chap complaining about no napkins clearly does not use Costa much as you can ask for a napkin as they don’t dispense them like the grab one, get ten in McDonalds so that paper is not wasted. As for a £5 coffee . . . That’s the price of two. I am on my way there now for breakfast and shopping . . . .

Coffee was fine, but preferred it when you got a napkin tissue. Five quid for a coffee and you can't even wipe your hands or mouth? Tight and mean

I am a Costa drinker so I might be biased but Always have great coffee here!

Sadly this coffee shop is open plan in a large supermarket and is very noisy. Not really a great place to relax as noise level is overwhelming

Very poor. Hot chocolate was handed to me with his hands holding the rim. Then spilt some and said... Right I'm off... Not good at all won't be back.

Coffee was just a cup of milk Over filled served by a bunch of kids topical take the money but don't pay for the staff not the kids though

Queued for 10 mins for them to then say they cant make cold drinks as they have no lids. No sign and didn't think to tell people as they walked in. Joke
