Please don’t bother using this place, other Wagamamas are ok albeit expensive for what they give you but this place exceeds them all! I called to ask whether I had the right rice noodles as I asked for thin rice noodles and got what looked like tagliatelle. I was told that is their rice noodles so I asked if it’s meant to be that dry and burnt tasting and I was told it is! Absolutely no need to argue as I was speaking to the Manager anyway apparently she did not see a problem or care how bad the food was and obviously as a company they do not care about any kind of value for money. I suggest you use the Chinese in Kelvedon or the one at the bottom of Cressing road you get double the amount of food for your money and it is always well prepared! Who would ever choose to go here is beyond me.

After being ignored at TGI Friday’s next door, we decided to visit Wagamama’s where the staff and atmosphere were both infinitely better. Our waiter, Jude, was polite and attentive, as were the other members of staff who served our table. The pork bao buns were particularly delicious.

Great little trip with some friends. Food was lovely and the service was great. Thank you for a lovely evening team👍

We have a lovely meal at Wagamama Braintree, we been greet by Fiona all the way thru till the end of our meals! She is amazing and she looks after us.We would like to say massive thank you and well done Fiona x

20 minutes of not seeing any serving staff, walked without ordering. Never been in a Wagamama before, won't be trying again anytime soon

Heerlijk Japans gegeten. Het eten wordt vers bereid en daarom moet je even wachten, maar dat vinden wij alleen maar een pluspunt. De bediening is vriendelijk en attent. Betalen via een QR-code werkt uitstekend. De fooi is optioneel en wordt niet op voorhand meegerekend (zoals het hoort?).

Went here as recommended by friends and what a good choice food was loverly service was very good and pleasant surrounds made better by the waitress Rosie so helpful and pleasant with choice off food

Great experience today at Wagamamma Braintree. We were served by a very kind girl called Anya, she complimented by granddaughter and made her feel so special and we didn’t get the chance to thank her enough. The food was also really good quality . My first time at Wagamamma and I will definitely be coming back !

Wagamama used to have a much bigger menu before covid, and I was a bit disappointed that a lot of my former favourite dishes are gone. The service was fine and the food was nice, if pricey for the size of portions.

Had lunch here Saturday 4th March with husband and 2 year old son. Great food (as always) but writing this as service was outstanding. Quick to seat, take food and drink orders and stand out moment was when my little one was getting a bit bored waiting for the food the greeter came over and offered us a choice of puzzles and games. So friendly, can’t recommend enough.

The food and service experienced at this outlet was of a very high standard. It helped me forget the crap time I had at St Albans last year. I asked my waitress at Braintree her name, so I could mention her for the fabulous service she gave us throughout our most enjoyable lunch. Thank You Anya

We visit different branches and this was our first here at Braintree village, lunchtime in and out paying online is preferred by me, ramen was very good with not too much soup, ( they don’t all get it right)service was good, nice and clean no complaints, was a very quite Thursday lunch with only a few people in.

Popped into this venue for the second time recently. Service was good and staff were attentive. The food came quickly and tasted great. Winnie and Charlie answered a couple of questions for us and made us feel very welcome.

We go to Wagama’s a lot and the service is always great. Today was particularly brilliant - we were served by a young lady called Anya. She was friendly, funny and polite and gave the best service with great recommendations. Thank you for the amazing food and service - we will be back - a lot!

Where to begin. Order was taken promptly, hence one star. That's where it ends. 3 of us, all ordering 2 starters between us. One arrived 15 minutes before the other. The other starter adduced at the same time as my main course. Brisket teriyaki. Tasteless, had be nowhere near teriyaki. (Tesco Cook yourself had more flavour) Sticky rice dry and equally tasteless. Still I thought better eat it, I'm starving. The other two main courses arrived..... After I had finished my main course, so they had to sit and watch me eat, whilst I then sat and watched them eat. An altogether unpleasant experience and total waste of £70plus of our hard earned money. We were not alone. The people on the FMs table Asus had sinister complains and they were comped drinks and vouchers, but they were regular clients and not newbies like us. Do yourself a massive favour. Give Braintree Wagamama a very very wide berth, save your money or choose one of the many restaurants both chain and independents. This was a horrible nasty experience. I'm happy to discuss this further should any Wagamama high up person wish to contact me.

I put in a complaint twice now to Wagamama via their website due to the service we received when visiting this restaurant. 3 weeks later I have still not had a response! Soon as I am not getting a response I will post my experience on here. After going to Wagamama’s numerous times I have always been impressed with the food and service however it was my first time coming to the one in Freeport. We was seated efficiently then asked for our order. My mum went to order a latte and was told the coffee machine was broken so they couldn’t do a latte only an espresso or Americano. My mum ending up going for an americano which came over cold. She also asked for a wine which never come and when we questioned the lady said ‘oh I’m sorry yes the wine I completely forgot’. Food wise I opted for the miso cod ramen but was told they did not have this so I went for the salmon teriyaki soba instead. My mum also went for the same. The lady finished taking our order then come back to tell us they didn’t have this either. This was at 3pm and the restaurant was open until 10pm. I would dread to think what was left on the menu by that time. For a big chain restaurant you would think that they would over cater rather then under cater especially on one of their most popular dishes? We was then offered the steak soba but I am pescatarian so couldn’t go for this. I then asked for prawns instead which was fine. My dish came over it was cold and felt like it had been sitting there for some time. 5 minutes later the same dish comes over by another waitress so I pointed at mine and said I already had mine so the order was obviously taken down wrong. Me and my brother ate our dinner and my mums never come over. The waitress then come over and said they was putting hers on now so it had obviously been forgotten. After all this not one person come over and apologised for the service and mistakes. I had told my mum beforehand that it was really nice as it was her first time trying it. She come out very disappointed and said she would never go back. I am still hoping to receive a response about my complaint however I won’t be surprised if I never do.

We love Wagamama’s , however the evening we went to a non busy the Braintree one it wasn’t great. We had to wait too long btw dishes

Food was fantastic, great choice even for my 4 year old granddaughter. Staff were brilliant, thank you. Would certainly recommend.

Very good food and quick and efficient service. Be warned! The dishes don't arrive at the same time. There was a four minute delay between myself getting servied and my partner. Very clean and spacious seating and seating outside.

Family of 4 (2 normally fussy kids), we had a table/booth. The food was amazing, especially the duck domburi and the squid. The smoothies are beautiful. Service was fantastic and the staff are very attentive. Will be regular visitors.

Was very busy as we went over the bank holiday weekend. Did wait slightly longer for our food then we would usually but I imagine this would be due to the fact that every single table was full. We had a new waitress serve us....

popped down for some lunch , slight delay on meal no longer than 10 minutes. Originally offered desserts on the house however the whole meal was on the house! Fantastic customer service thanks to Winnie and Caitlin , will be back next week !!
