Came for brunch with friends. Food was tasty and the srrvice was excellent

I wanted a gingerbread milkshake but they wernt any so I'm bit disappointed but got hot check didn't want but had any not even with cream on top

Poor all round As you came from my reviews I have always given a fair review and for this one I would highly recommend a "avoid" as the food is appalling. Rude staff/ rude team who are in complete denial. The pub needs a refurbishment and a complete menu change. It has declined significantly. Avoid

I have ordered from Best Pizza many times over the years and I can honestly say I have NEVER had a bed experience. They read what you request in the notes when ordering off Just Eat which is great when you may only like a certain salad or want something taken off a pizza. For me it is the chicken and chips, which are just wow! Chicken always is nice with lots of flavour. If you ever get a chance try the Potato Wedges because they are something different, trust me, so tasty.

All the sandwiches and sausage rolls were anemic in colour, even after going into their little oven the pastry on my sausage roll was raw on the bottom, I asked them about it and they had no clue just said its hot so it's fine. Lovely service overall but a young team who need some leadership. The space is nice BUT its basically a giant creche so really noisy and needs more frequent cleaning.

Dived in for very quick refuelling whilst in transit. Food arrived quickly and very tasty. Just what was needed.

We called for lunch today, in our party is a person with a walnut allergy, who was given a check sheet,which was very helpful. We then placed our order, the waitress came over and informed us the next table over had ordered a meal with peanuts in it. We informed the waitress the allergy was with walnuts and thanked her. When the meal came out for our guest we were told it had been made free off contamination and also brought out freshly sterilised utensils. In this we felt the staff had made an proper effort in making sure the guests meal was contamination free. Well done to all.

Long cue to get served at bar, one miserable bar tender. Ask management why such long time to get served and told it was a Sunday, I responded that Sunday busy so need to adjust staff shifts to accommodate busy periods. Management at this establishment clueless and need re training or changing. I won’t pay high prices with appalling service to match. Will change location. I assume a lot of these 5 star reviews are staff / family lead as impossible, I guess they try to cover up the complaints.

Came for a family outing got served by Katie the service was great, Mike and Jake are also polite and helpful and will be coming back to visit.

Worst Chicken I’ve Ever Had – Absolutely Inedible! I can’t believe I’m writing this, but I just had the most appalling dish. I ordered what I thought would be a simple, tasty chicken dish (salt & pepper chicken), but what I got was borderline criminal. The chicken wasn’t just bad – it was old. You could taste it immediately, that unmistakable stale, almost sour flavor that tells you this chicken has been sitting far beyond its prime. It was dry, tough, and had a stringy texture that made each bite worse than the last. It’s a miracle I didn’t get food poisoning. It’s as if they’d dug this chicken out of the freezer from a decade ago, defrosted it in a microwave, and hoped nobody would notice. I noticed, and so will anyone unfortunate enough to order it. How this even left the kitchen is beyond me – do they not care about their customers’ health, let alone their taste buds? If you value your stomach (and your life), avoid the salt & pepper chicken at all costs. Actually, avoid this place

Food was very poor, dry chips and a disappointing open egg sandwich which looked unappealing and indeed was. Slow service and overpriced.

I always say this is a great go to pub, for food and drink at great prices, however my last couple of visits that included food wasn’t quite as good, the food was not as good? What’s changed guys?, I had the madras curry yesterday, the naan was overdone, popadums under done, and the rice and curry not quite on it, has something changed in last couple of months? I’ve always thought that this particular pub was excellent for food. So come on get back to being great.
