The best restaurants in Fryerns Basildon East of England

SO rude. Cannot believe how most of the staff here havnt been sacked. Small woman with the tattoo on her inner right arm, her attitude is disgusting. She needs to be sacked. Don't know how she's worked there for so long.

everything was really nice, they didn't have cheese bites crust for one pizza so they added 2 pieces of chicken instead, so glad they did as its better than kfc, so will be our go to place for southern chicken now.

Basic accommodation, but does the job. Staff nice. Bed was comfy. A complimentary bottle of water would have been nice. I am not sure if you have to pay for parking. Google says free but we were offered free parking due to a technical issue at check in. Buffet Breakfast was £16 each. Again, fairly basic, but OK for us

Small portions and very tasteless our first time and sadly we won't be returning.

I waited to get served at the bar and the bar staff were serving there locals before me, although I was standing there for ages. Also the tables and bar is always sticky and the toilets smell.

Went for a morning breakfast with the family and my youngest ordered beans on toast; however, they had ran out of beans and just gave him toast! Lazy staff didn't even butter it! Thanks now I have a crying 6 year old! However, I had a full English and changed my beans for extra mushrooms full recommend! Made better by the stripper who came to collect her money wearing an inappropriate uniform love this place!

No butterfly chicken left again at only 7pm - same story in all 3 local Nando's about the last 5 times we have tried to visit/order. No diet coke coming out of the drinks machine and no knives left either. While rectified after I brought to the attention of the servers it just shows they are paying no attention to getting the basics right. Pretty poor service overall.

Lovely quality food as always! Friendly delivery driver and arrived early which is always a bonus! Definitely will order again!

Very nice date brunch with the Mrs. Could not fault the food or the waitress who served us both.

Absolutely shocking so understaffed got a starters as a main and the main never came out with the starter .. the food was not what it looked like in website too ..

Visited today, just to get some breakfast while waiting for car to be serviced. We were greeted by a charming man on reception where we paid for our food. Then into dining room to be greeted by Hannah and Courtney. Instantly felt welcome, their energy and enthusiasm was plain to see. The food was lovely, Courtney made fresh poached eggs for Dean and scrambled eggs for me, and they were perfect. Hannah was constantly busy, but nothing too much trouble for her.
