Was greeted on arrival by Courtney whose service, friendliness and knowledge of, well everything, helped me make the best of my stay in the UK. Special thanks also to David, Angie and Sophie who went the extra mile to meet my food needs and to chat to me as I was travelling alone this time. The hotel team worked excellently together and no small detail was overlooked. Extra care was paid to cleanliness of the room and in the restaurant. It was all extremely professional yet friendly and personal. I have never experienced this before and will go back there on account of the staff. Thank you all x

I would like to thank Lee Proctor at the premier inn festival park Basildon for his professionalism and kindness. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he went above and beyond his remit to help us. Thank you so much Lee you are one in a million.x

Location is good, staff were more than helpful. Only problem is the rooms are so hot and muggy. We was given 2 fans but with the window only opening a small way it was ridiculous. The only way to get some air was to leave your door open when in your room. Even the corridors were stuffy Spoke to Manager on way out as left early and she said they have asked for air con but not been granted it. Real shame

The Inn may be old, but the staff are always friendly, professional, and helpful. They make you feel very welcome, and it’s close to amenties. I would like to thank the kitchen breakfast staff and reception.

Worst hotel I've stayed at in a very long time. The rooms were unbearably hot even though it was only 14 degrees outside. 25+ degrees in the room. There's no air flow I the rooms which end up sticking after being there for a while. The showers went hot and cold and on the Friday night the pub next door blasted out music until 12o clock so it was difficult to sleep. I'd give it zero stars if this was an option.

It is an old hotel, but clean, although it is far from the center, there is a shopping center, restaurants, cinema etc. nearby. The staff is helpful.

Stayed here for three nights for work and not your standard quality premier inn - rooms were very tired and in need of some work. Headboard ripped and bathroom was terrible, water damage everywhere smelt of damp had to leave bathroom door shut when in the room. Shower curtain all broken and hangers had been pulled off or ripped. Never normally moan about the beds at premier inn, but these were terrible too. Big dip in the middle and 0 comfort. Hallways all scuffed and damaged. Everyday after work getting back to room, the room key would work, so would have to go back to reception to get a new key, did this 4/5 times on one occasion as still wouldn’t work. A van unloading hotel materials at 9:45pm too crashing and banging around, made it very hard to sleep too as had to be up early. £111 a night for less than basic room is a terrible price. Only positive is surrounded by nice places to eat within walking distance.

Had a fantastic night’s stay in this hotel with 7 other groomsmen the night before our brother’s wedding. Courtney and Chloe made us feel right at home with a warm welcome and sound recommendation for a route for our morning 5k run. The room was a sight to behold. King size bed, en suite, nice and spacy. Hot water, and as many towels as we needed was so excellent. Thank you to the amazing team and hope to stay over soon.

Useful for the customer visit to be done. Hotel needs a bit of TLC to bring it back to best but comfortable and welcoming.

Was empty when we came in but soon filled up, the 2 waiters struggled. We felt rushed when ordered as the waiter kept saying yes yes yes straight after we told him each thing we wanted. We waited 1 hour for the food and then just left and couldn’t get hold of the waiter and then when we did he said yes your next but then forgot to come back we just wanted to order more drinks but unfortunately couldn’t. Once I managed to get his attention for the 3rd time 2 hours after we came in, he came over and asked what dessert we wanted and we said we don’t know as still waiting for a dessert menu he said they are on the back of the kids drawing sheet but we said we wanted an adult menu. He then said he would come back and we finally got his attention another 30 minutes after that. By that point our young children were becoming very restless and just wanted their ice creams. Another 50 minutes passed before I asked about the desserts and he said they won’t be a minute no they were another 15 minutes for desserts !!!!! We spend nearly 4 hours in there for lunch for 4 of us. Don’t go here if your in a hurry

Sooooooooooo expensive. Why people don't just go to one of the many supermarkets in town?
