Cosmos takeaway in Basildon

Visit here fairly regularly, couple of new people seem to be running who are friendly and make decent food. Always enjoy the chicken shish.

Had a medium donner kebab plenty meat and tasted really good slightly greasy but will be back if parked here again

This used to be one of the good kebab vans in laindon gone completely down hill over the last 2 years and can't even be bothered to open on a Saturday night do laindon a favour and stay shut

Overall, no attention was paid to my kebab, everything was overcooked, the fries were soft and the price was high

I reviewed this place a couple of year ago, been ordering from here for the last 6 years or so. It was one of the best kebab vans on the road. Had a doner on Wednesday 23/8/23. It was horrid. Doner meat was like plastic, chips where good. The chef is always moaning that he is so busy. What happened to this place, never again for me

Been ordering for the last couple off week’s prices change and then said won’t deliver unless order over 20 even though we pay for delivery

Great kebab van and friendly staff, shame the opening hours aren't correct as it's not here tonight! Tuesday the 28th of july 2020 Back tonight and it's absolutely awful now since it's been taken over! Shocking portion size and definitely not cooked the same as it used to be 🙁

Mixed grill - superb. Plenty of flavour, full of meat with chips, salad and pittas Great value for money, easily enough for 4 people - would recommend and will be back soon

Shocking portion size and chicken tasteless. Was my go to take away van before they closed. Very disappointing since reopened. Will travel out the area rather than use again

Stingy with there chicken in kebab not enough in it

We asked for well cooked Donna meat , twice we have had it since new owners , twice we have had to recook it ourselves , also please slice your salad more thinly , sorry to be fussy

Waited 25mins no order taken not even sorry we're busy. Left with no food!

I've been eating here for years cosmo is very good and nothing is ever a problem I think some of the reviewers on here are telling porkys as in 5 years of tramping I've never had a bad meal off this guy and if I was not happy he is the sort of man to change it without hesitation He would not of been here this many years if it was poor food

Great Kebabs just what you need after a 15 hour shift in your truck.Staff are very friendly too,I always try to park here for the night when I’m down this neck off the woods.

It was good had a kebab the other night it was over cooked and swimming in fat just went in the bin when I see it in the morning was glad I did not eat looked like it was caked in lard so sorry for bad review but more sorry for bad kebab will be looking for new place for kebabs

Went to visit some friends, nice area, only for some of the guests decided to order some foods, they waited over hour and a half before the food came and it was cold, they complaint and got £15 worth of food free they delivered it with in 25 minutes
