TGI Friday's - Basildon in Basildon

Went on a very busy Good Friday. Young lady serving did a great job looking after us. All the food ordered from the ribs to burgers and a pasta meal got eaten. Expect to spend a lot of money but worth a bit extra.

The food was terrible, overcooked like burn offerings, and the spicy chicken thighs were disgusting we couldn’t eat them

Just felt a little ripped off to be honest . £65 for two mains and three drinks . The service was good and the food tasted nice but served up like a cheap Harvester meal. When did a rack of ribs cost £27 !!?? The place is just lacking its old atmosphere. The menu has been simplified to the extent that its now just basic fast food . There are better options out there .

Jamie was so polite and lovely. She was helpful and efficient. We had a lovely time at TGI and her service made the birthday celebration special.

Nice food and good service. James was very attentiveness always helping and checking on us, even apologised when the food was delayed.

Cannot believe how far this restaurant chain has fallen. We booked online for my daughters birthday. Service was so so, our first waitress (Sophie) was pleasant but when we asked for extra napkins or wipes never returned. The menu now is very limiting. Our meal didn't start well when 4 out of 5 received our starters but they forgot my son's. The main's came out as soon as starter plates were cleared and they even forgot my daughter's fries with her main. The food was below average, old when it arrived at the table, pasteurised ribs, over cooked corn on the cob, cold fries, pasteurised chicken fajitas were nasty, not as we remembered. Cocktails were alright, although the Mojito's were OK not the best. Shame the British public thinks this is acceptable! Was not cheap either £240 for 5 of us.

Jamie was excellent. Very attentive and quick. Great customer service. - would definitely recommend! Food and drinks were excellent also.

We had a great time and Jamie our server in Basildon was amazing! Literally made our time incredible! She helped us a lot by showing us the cocktail deals and recommended a drink my girlfriend loved! The sesame chicken is unreal too! Thank you Jamie!

Came for lunch and Jamie was amazing couldn't ask for a better service 😀 would recommend this branch and Jamie is an asset to the company

Amazing food and even better service from Charley. From greeting us with a smile to keeping our drinks refilled, the experience we received from our waitress was great. Would definitely recommend! :)

Excellent service and delicious food from team especially Conor he was creative with the kids order as it was an 8 year old birthday party.

Went with friends and their family and we had a great time. The staff were very accommodating with allergies and fussy eaters, and the food was tasty. I had the new Calamari starter and it was excellent. The dipping sauce was very piquant and very well balanced. For the main course I had a burger with jack daniels sauce. Again, very good. The only criticism I might have is that the prices have really been ramped up. For a starter, main course and three beers, it came to £50. I know that prices have gone up, but the burger has gone up by around 50% in the past 18 months.

Jamie our server was great! Food came quickly and drinks were topped up often ! We had the 2 course downtown menu and it was pretty decent. Burger and chips, can't go wrong

The service was amazing! The food was lovely, it was made 1000x times more better by our waitress Emma S, she made us feel very welcome, we had a lovely experience.

Sat down straight away, was really looking forward to a TGIs. Left sitting there for 20 minutes waiting to just get a drink. Asked multiple times to be told there busy serving drinks on other tables. Asked one last time to be barked that there busy. No apology ?. Tried then to order drinks direct from bar for our table as kids where hungry to be ignored for 5 minutes. Decided to get up and leave. Won't return now. Lakeside TGIs is the only one we really like now. Service is at least reasonable there. Avoid Badildon TGI.
