Lovely pub, friendly service, reasonably priced beer and a great village feel.

A lovely tearoom. Our first choice to visit for breakfast when we go to Lavenham . The staff are friendly, always a warm welcome . Good choice of food, freshly prepared . Good coffee and delicious hot chocolate . Highly recommended!

A very nice restaurant in Walton on naze. The Singapore rice noodles and fire beef ho fun is Hongkong style. Hongkong is the original style of both items.

Interesting having a curry house in a pub in the middle of nowhere. The curry was nice, I wasn't over keen on the naan bread. I would go back

Since we moved to Mattishall in Feb 2018, we have used the Swan for family and friends visits. The food is to die for and, the menu is always changing so, no getting the same boring stuff week after week. Sunday in autumn, winter is carvery and, what a carvery. One price gets you a large plate plus, a sweet of your choice. One thing i like is, being a vegetarian, there are always several meals to choose from including a massive quorn veggie burger. The portions are way above normal as my Dad can vouch for and all freshly cooked. Their speciality pies are much sought after and, if you don't get in quick, they're gone. Sonia and Peter run an excellent pub restaurant with a cheerful, friendly and helpful staff for which nothing is too much trouble. If you're passing through, I recommend stopping at this friendly eatery.

Tasty cakes and pastries. Highly recommend the big custard tarts and huge Bath buns. Avoid the millionaire pastry unless you have a very sweet tooth! Eccles cakes are different with plenty of raisins. Nice baker.

Visited recently, adequate menu, order food at the bar. We had Scampi & Chips, prawn salad with chips and Pizza. Nice food served fairly quickly and the young staff were very friendly and efficient. We will revisit when in the area.

We have been to this Restaurant varies times and have always had a great experience. Each time, food drink and staff have been great and today was the same however, we are saddened that someone asked my partner whether he had picked up after our dog when all she had was a wee. We have bags and always pick up. Just something that didn’t need to be said. Shame as we love Coteys 😞

The wings and chips are always brilliant. However the burger was underdone. I have attached photos for proof.

Food and service were ok and prices reasonable, but this is very much a local boozer and customers were a little raucous. Good value.

The New Posh Menu is splendid. The old menu was great if you wanted a meal deal or a reasonably priced lunch and that is still available. Now, in addition, Dave has created a Michelin star type menu for us foodies. Among the new delights are harissa salad,oysters,cromer crab various steaks and my favourite whole sea bass.This beautifully cooked and I suspect locally sourced fish comes with usual and 'Heritage' beetroot,slightly sweeter and more fragrant. Nicely presented salad and succulent saute potatoes.Well worth the price. Ithouroughly reccommend you try it. Welcome back Dave.

So gutted to hear this lovely place has closed down. How sad. They were so popular too! The best scotch eggs around & apple strudel as well as the baklava! Where shall we go now?! Thanks for all the happy memories there and the great service too!

Little gem of a find today. 9 of us had a lovely breakfast. Nothing was greasy, all cooked perfectly and good value for money. Staff really lovely, place spotlessly clean and if I was local I would definitely be back. Later in the day we went back for drinks and ice cream. Thanks ladies for a lovely day and for you being so caring knowing the reason we were in the area. 💚

bit surprised they use metal staples in the packaging , thought this would be an absolute no for a food prep area - accident waiting to happen

Had a lovely lunch, food and service was great. New menu was great, lots of selection. Quick service for food! Pub is very clean.
