The New Posh Menu is splendid. The old menu was great if you wanted a meal deal or a reasonably priced lunch and that is still available. Now, in addition, Dave has created a Michelin star type menu for us foodies. Among the new delights are harissa salad,oysters,cromer crab various steaks and my favourite whole sea bass.This beautifully cooked and I suspect locally sourced fish comes with usual and 'Heritage' beetroot,slightly sweeter and more fragrant. Nicely presented salad and succulent saute potatoes.Well worth the price. Ithouroughly reccommend you try it. Welcome back Dave.

Not as expected, in the back of a restaurant sort of like a farm ?

If you like steak, with a sauce of your choice this has always been a special place. If you also like fish, the new menu will excite your tastebuds.The recently added specialities include oysters and lobster .You can even have have the ultimate seafood experience with fruits de la mer, which includes the freshest of local seafood and needless to say, the famous Cromer crab. For a little taste of fishy heaven you can't go wrong with The Miso salmon, perfectly cooked and succulent to the last mouthful.

Average, some of the food very nice however a little sceptical of the bill. Didn't apply special offer on steak and charged us for 3 lots of extra fries so watch your bill if you go here.

Poor service as I had finished my Sunday lunch and my father-in-law was still waiting for his. Won't return in a hurry 😔

Fantastic!! We were in the area for a family wedding and booked lunch for the Saturday and Sunday, we were a big party of 11 and each meal didn't fail to impress! I would recommend this place for ambiance, food (so good) with the service being second to none. I just wished we lived near as this would definitely be a regular, the good thing is we introduced the bride and groom to this place on the Sunday who live 8 minutes away! Thank you for a lovely experience on both days.

This evening was booked to celebrate my partners birthday. He chose this restaurant as he was drawn to the steak menu on the website, offering various steaks for £25-30. However, the menu on the website is NOT what you get. When I asked the waiter about where the steak menu was, he said he didn't know what I was talking about. I showed him the website and he said 'I don't know what website you are using but it is not our menu'..... Really..... That's the website we booked our table through, other parts of the menu were exactly the same as the website and the address and phone number were on there too. So yes it was the correct website. In the end my partner ordered the £60 ribeye and loved it thankfully. I had the nicoise salad and a side of halloumi fries with chili jam. It wasn't great. The terrace was nice to sit out in but overall a disappointing meal and wouldn't go again.

Booked a table at Michael’s grill on Friday 18th June. Had looked at the website, read the reviews and the menu and was excited to eat here. Arrived and was shown to a dirty table with the previous diners glasses, cutlery and crumbs over the table and chairs. Someone then can over and cleared the table, gave us some paper menus which had the oak terrace menu. I asked if this was definitely the “Michael’s grill” as the menu looked totally different. Was told yes and that this was the only menu she had. I asked why there were no starters or some of the dishes as mentioned on the website and was told they don’t do starters in a weekend?? Another waiter came along and dumped a bowl of plastic packet sauces in the table. This was DEFINITELY not what I was expecting when reading about the restaurant on their own website Felt totally uncomfortable, and did not stay any longer - unwelcoming, totally different menu and dirty dining room. Be aware

During an overnight we ate here on the Saturday night and it was brilliant. We were quickly shown to our table by an extremely attentive waitress. My husband ordered the half lobster and I ordered the pork Tomahawk steak, both meals were amazing, beautifully cooked and presented. We ordered desserts my pavlova was made with fresh meringues and berries and was delicious my husband says his sticky toffee pudding was only ok. Washed down with a bottle of house white we had we lovely meal in some lovely surroundings. We also ate breakfast on the terrace the next day and that was also superb with fresh sausages and bacon which was of a really high quality. We will most definitely be back.

Last night we had the all you can eat Steak night, The Steak taste from the Charcoal grill is fantastic. Makes all the difference. Unlimited Steak, Chunky chips, Salad and Two Creamy Sauces , probably had 4 x refills of Steak , with extra sides on request. Great value for £18.95. The Restaurant was Packed. I did also manage a Sticky Toffee Pudding , well I shared it with the wife, romance isn't dead :) 5 Stars Michaels.

Had a meal with friends on a Friday and i thought this was a great place to chat and have a lovely meal. Staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. Will definitely be going back

Absolutely lovely restaurant! The service was excellent, especially from Steven, he couldn't be more welcoming. I had the pork Tomahawk steak which was amazing! All of the other meals looks delicious too. I'd definitely recommend Michaels 10/10. Also the complimentary drink at the end was great👌

Having just opened up, we thought it would be great to give it a try. There were 5 of us on a very busy Friday night. Servers could not have been nicer and more accommodating. A very nice venue with kitchen on show. 1 person ordered a sirloin steak with tomato and Mac and cheese, and really enjoyed all of it excepther tomato that she felt was too soggy. Another ordered tomohawk pork and loved every bite! A lady ordered the fillet steak medium rare, and was served well done, but the server was very attentive and immediately had the chef do a fresh one for her that she was very pleased with. The gentleman next to me ordered the London steak, which sadly turned out to be quite gristly, and the waiter took his meal off the bill apologizing. Sadly my chicken was overdone and quite dry, which the server took off the bill as well! We were offered complimentary drinks as well, but with driving and time constraints, we politely declined. It's refreshing to have a restaurant take so much pride in their fare that they stand behind the quality and obviously are working hard to sort out the teething problems of just opening. We all decided to come back again!

Went here last night. The staff were lovely and the food divine. My partner reckoned his steak was the best he has ever had, even better than the Kobe steak that was he previous best. I had the chicken, bacon and blue cheese salad,it was so good. Chicken wasn't dry and the bacon was just at the right crispiness. My only criticism ,which is really my problem ,not theirs, is I think there may have been garlic in the salad dressing. It didn't state garlic on the menu and I wish it had have done, as I would have asked for the salad without the dressing. There are some people, like me, who can't eat garlic as it doesn't agree with them. I will just remember to ask next time. But as I say my problem ,not theirs. Loved the set up too, there was a choice of eating in the more formal restaurant area or the bar area,which we chose. Best bit was being able to see the chef's cook, with the option of you sitting up around the cooking area if you wanted to get up close and personal. Go try it, you won't be disappointed.

Last night a group of 4 of us attended Michaels for the first time and I have to say the meal and the whole experience was fantastic. The food and the service we first class for a restaurant that has only just opened. Would 100% recommend.
