We booked Shooters for breakfast as advertised . When we got there , expecting an American menu there were 3 options Full English Vegetarian or Sandwiches . It appears that “ Shooters” don’t actually do the breakfast . When mine came the wafer thin sliced mushrooms ( there wasn’t even 1 full mushroom I imagine ) were stone cold as was the bacon beans and tinned tomatoes . I ate the egg and hash brown . So if you book “ shooters “ for breakfast be aware that you won’t get a diner breakfast just a cold mediocre breakfast for £7.95

Multiple visits, usually very pleased with the dining experience. This time, not so much. Service was fine, the Bone Dry Riesling was excellent, although heavy mark up. I must say the small plates were pretty, well presented but over priced. Tinned anchovies £10 for 4, you can buy a whole tin for £7. If the description included the term “tinned” I wouldn’t have ordered them. The biggest disappointment was the Quail, beautifully presented but terrible texture and cold. The waitress did ask me what was the issue with the dish, I told her, but that was the end of that. £135 for a selection of cold dishes, apart from the chips which were nuclear. Shame really, won’t be returning anytime soon. Initially a “quirky” dining experience however once you become a regular it seems to lose its appeal.

Without doubt this is the best Indian food I have eaten in the UK. The quality of the ingredients is superb, The sauces are divine. Generous amounts of meat and the dishes are not greasy like some many Indian foods. There is a wide choice of rice and bread accompaniments and everything is freshly cooked, piping hot and delicious. We live in walking distance of 3 Indian restaurants but the 8.4 mile drive is so well worth it.

None of the beers including Guinness was available - Something wrong with their system which couldn't be corrected while we were there. Most expensive soft drinks outside of London , almost £4:00 for a cordial and soda water.

Always know you'll get good food and friendly service here. We both opted for the Rosti special and it was lovely. Really nicely cooked and made with good quality ingredients, (the bacon was a stand out for me - thick cut and very tasty!). Had a double chocolate brownie after which was super tasty. Will always recommend this place and will always re-visit.

I have visited The Three Horseshoes three times. The first time my daughter and I just had starters which were delicious and beautifully presented. The second time was for a Sunday roast which was hugely disappointing, I did email to point out the issues but I was told Sunday roast is very much a personal thing - I agree but I don’t agree that poorly cooked vegetables are a personal thing - however I gave it another try. The final visit and without question my last was a birthday celebration. The starters were nice almost all of us had the tasty heritage tomato dish. The mains were awful. Pasta just boring and amateurish. The steak covered in an unpleasant sweet jus. The chicken was really well cooked but the butternut squash was unpleasant and the nasturtium pesto even worse. Overpriced for what you get.

Hiya this demi, the girl who had a complaint about Kenny the ‘head doorman’ i just wanted to put in writing how threatened i felt by this man and how uncomfortable i felt in general. Once my friend had already left the doors this is when she was notified that she would not be allowed back in. Once i disputed the fact that she was not notified before leaving inside of the venue, Kenny became very aggressive and started kicking the door back when i was trying to speak to my friend inside. It almost felt like he was on a ‘power trip’ and started speaking down to me in a very belittling way. he said and i quote ‘if i was your dad i would be ashamed of you’ and that ‘i would never want a daughter as slaggy as you’. his actions let alone his words made me feel so uncomfortable to the point that i didn’t want to return anyway. No other staff members were present at this time, incase he tries to change his story based on other witnesses. This is unacceptable behaviour! I work in and have worked in bars before and never have my security team ever spoken to a member of the public in this way ever before. i am absolutely disgusted and devastated that anyone would ever be spoken to like this, let alone someone who is supposed to be maintaining a level of professionalism. We had a great night at The Merchant and experienced no problem’s before an unexpected and threatening issue occurred between myself and the ‘head doorman’ Kenny. My friends and I have attended the Merchant on may occasions and never had an issue however after this incident, after being aggressively attacked by Kenny, i feel that my friends and i will have to avoid this venue in future.

We had Sunday lunch to celebrate a birthday. The meal was absolutely superb, the best Sunday lunch I've ever eaten in a restaurant. The soup I had was absolutely delicious, the roast chicken was cooked beautifully with stuffing, roast potatoes, red cabbage, brocolli, green beans and carrots. I even got a massive Yorkshire pudding! My husband had satay chicken to start, absolutely lovely, then roast beef, cooked just the way he likes it. Another in our party had the pork with crackling, she loved it. Desserts were delicious too, chocolate torte, poached pear and Baileys cheesecake, I was so full, I couldn't manage one but just had a taste. Then coffee and a chocolate. Wow, amazing and well worth the money. Oh, and the staff were brilliant too. I'd recommend this to everyone.
