Had another lovely breakfast at Yemek restaurant. Small restaurant and need to get in early, always busy. Plenty of choice on the menu to choose from. Food is always fresh and presented nicely, and the staff are pleasant. During the summer the views are nice, you feel like you’re abroad.

The best restoran l was caming wiht mu familiy realy Sedat was loking Aur table realy was very good steak and kebap you can try

Went here for breakfast after a recommendation from my brother-in-law. Was tempted by some of the Turkish options, but in the end I went for the full English. Was absolutely fantastic, definitely the best breakfast I’ve had in Southend. Service was fast and really friendly too - I’ll certainly be going back!

We had a lovely lunch at Yemek today. My husband has to have gluten free and they had his favourite food,gluten free fish and chips. He said it was delicious The waitresses were excellent too. We will be back soon

Visited Yemek for the first time today on recommendation. Really good experience. Food, service, sea view was excellent. Had the Turkish breakfast which was delicious. Can also recommend the halloumi salad and the halloumi wrap. Good portion size for the money. Would definitely be returning again soon.

It is a great spot near the beach. The food is amazing and well presented and isn't too expensive. It is also dog friendly and the staff are very nice!

Absolutely love this place! The staff are so welcoming and friendly and the food is consistently fantastic. Just wish I could go there more often. Please don't change anything about what you do, you're brilliant!

been a few times, lovely little place, great food, always consistently good, nice staff, good value and dog friendly. it's my favourite cafe along the arches at Westcliff

Beautiful place with gorgeous Mediterranean food, spotless clean and the food was to die for, staff very polite and knowledgeable, we will definitely return.

We have been here several times for lunch & Dinner or just for a milkshake The food is amazing, the sea bass I had has been one of the best I’ve ever tasted! The chicken shish just so tender & tasty I can highly recommend the milkshakes so thick & creamy, my only advice don’t have one before a meal they are very filling! The staff are very attentive and all work very hard to make sure that you need anything or top up of drinks especially as at times they are understaffed. if there is one criticism it would be sometimes the choice of food isn’t always available but I understand this is not the fault of the staff as they just cook or serve the food! But I would highly recommend yemek!

The food at this place is amazing! But unfortunately the two times that I have been the service has been appalling, the two waitresses that I have seen (first time both were working, second time just one of them) are really bad at customer service. They don’t really say much and just stand at the back of the restaurant talking to the chef or each other, they ignore customers when they’re trying to get their attention, they don’t smile or check on you to see if your meal is okay or if you need more drinks etc.. This does ruin the experience. The food is so good but the staff make you feel very unwanted and unwelcome.

Stopped here for lunch on a busy Sunday lunch. Greeted politely, ordered drinks which arrived promptly. I ordered chicken Shish with rice & salad, my daughter ordered chicken & halloumi salad. Both dishes were huge &!so delicious, best chicken shish I have had. Will definitely return when in the area. Thank you
