Great food, scallops starter was a highlight

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AMAZING, FOOD IS TANTALISING! HAD THE TIME OF MY LIFE, ILL NEVER BE THE SAME. THE WAITRESS WAS SO SWEET, WE WENT FOR A CELEBRATION AND GOT A FREE BABY GUINESS SHOT.

One of the best restaurants in Leigh. The owner Ismail and the team are super accommodating. The food is fantastic, never had a bad meal there. They do everything they can to accommodate us every time. As a regular you are made to feel like part of the family. Thank you so much. Jez and Vick x

Went here for some dinner, had the mixed grill, food was amazing, full of flavour and meat was cooked to perfection! Service was 10/10 Food 10/10 Atmosphere 10/10 Lovely little place to go and eat some Turkish food

Halal restaurant and staff was very welcome and helpful with orders and bookings. Ambiance was family oriented and even though the restaurant is itself small it is a bit pricey. Food options include the grills and platters which can be shared.

Fantastic food and service. They accommodated seven adults and two children with no fuss, provide a great service and every dish was genuinely delicious

Enjoyed a fantastic early evening meal here with my 3 teenage children last week. The service was welcoming and courteous and the food was absolutely top notch. Very nice décor, too. Not even the mean old hag sitting on another table across from us clicking her fingers at the waitresses and speaking to them like dirt could dampen what was a great evening all round. Thank you, Troya. Will be returning for sure!

Fabulous lunch. Great value. Loads of choice + also a Set Menu most days. Staff are very friendly. Food is consistently excellent. The lightly spiced Chicken Livers starter is outstanding! Worth visiting for that alone. Do try.

Visited for the first time tonight and I could t recommend this restaurant enough food was amazing plenty of flavours meat was succulent and cooked to perfection. Staff were not very and friendly excellent service. Decent price for the amount of food you get definitely worth a visit we will be back here next month for our anniversary.

Delicious freshly prepared food. Lovely friendly staff. Arrived tonight.... being a Monday was surprised it was really busy. Everything was absolutely perfect. I chose the scallop starter.... cooked to perfection, followed by monkfish and lamb shish mains with a side of the most wonderful griddled asparagus. All served piping hot and perfectly seasoned. The chef was clearly really busy but didn't seem at all flustered. We cannot fault anything.....its nice to see the food being prepared through the glass fronted kitchen. Cannot wait to return and definitely my new favourite eatery in leigh.... where most other places other than Alchemy are either average or below par. A huge thumbs up 👍

Since it’s opening it has never disappointed us, consistently at the top, tried the Falafel this time, not big on falafel due to the fact I only ever had bland dry mass produced ones, BUT these are totally the opposite, homemade and very nice, never had falafel like it, well recommended, mains as usual fantastic, such juicy Kofta, rice , salad and bread, perfect, everything fresh. Service always faultless too, 10% charge added, which is acceptable for good food and service.

We had a lovely dinner at Troya and the food and service was impeccable! Tony took great care of us and make cocktails off menu to suit the groups taste. It was my mother-in-laws birthday and having called and spoken to Tony in the day, he arranged a birthday dessert and got everyone singing. Was a wonderful evening (and packed on Monday!) and we'll certainly be back.

Passed by at lunchtime intending on going home. Was roped in due to the amazing £12 offer for 2 large courses. Tony was a phenomenal waiter who was super friendly and sharp with the service. Banging!

Last minute decision to go as a walk in and try it as like Turkish food. Food was good, given free bread and dips before our meal, service was quick but not pushy, varied menu, friendly staff, would come again.

Had a wonderful meal for my birthday yesterday. The food was exceptional, the atmosphere & service were great & when he clocked it was my birthday, out server got everyone (!) to sing & put a candle in my dessert ! It was reasonably priced, too. Will definitely go there again.

Celebrated my wife Laura's birthday @ Troya and would recommend as the food, service and atmosphere were excellent. Had a 10 minute wait as full house but were given complentry drinks whilst waiting. Laura had Scallops for starter followed by Monkfish and I had the Steak, both excellent. They served a free birthday cheesecake for Laura and free shots along with a very generous discount for the earlier wait. Thank you Troya for a great evening !

Amazing and Well worth the experience, was really tasty

Yesterday my wife and i went to Troya for their lunch menu. It was my first visit , my wife had been in the evening before and loved it so we tried their lunch. The experience was perfect from start to finish. We were greeted warmly and given our choice of where to sit. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. I had the whitebait and my wife had calamarie to start. Both were really good but we agreed the calamarie was probably the best we've ever had, it was superb. For mains i had the seabass and my wife the chicken shish, they were well presented and both were delicious. It was a hot day and we had a bottle of white wine which was well chilled and well priced. The lunch menu was real quality and value for money. As i say the whole experience was perfect, we will be back !

Truly excellent experience, food, staff, ambience all great I actually wasn't hungry but had to wait for something for a couple of hours and saw Troya right in the next street with very high review score, so I decided to check it. Absolutely delicious! One of the best turkish restaurants in Southend especially for occasions. Went there on the weekend to celebrate my sisters birthday & it did not dissapoint. The service is also amazing & lovely atmoshphere. We ordered Calamari, falafels, Chicken beyti, mixed grill, Steak and adana kofte. Every single item was beyond delicious except the falafels which were a bit overcooked. Overall it was too good, can't wait to visit again. The staff was very attentive and polite including the manager.

Order from this place of Uber Eats and its a gamble if they cancel the order or not, foods really nice but it's so frustrating that they cancelled 8/10 times. Great food though and I understand why they could but that's why I gave only 4 stars

Went for my Wife's 50th birthday this evening. Starters were absolutely spot on. 10/10. Mains were fantastic and we were at this point too full to try any sweets although the ones we saw come out looked amazing. Great food, great service, Great value. Will definitely be returning.

We had a lovely time and the food was nice, the young lady that served us was very nice and attentive, had the service charge not been added on already then we would have left a tip but because you did add the charge then I can't tip twice. Very reasonably priced for our entire meal and the only reason we didn't give it a 5 star all the way through was because of the service charge and the presentation could have been slightly better especially with the salads. Overall very good.

Lovely food, friendly staff, will definitely be our go to Turkish restaurant from now on. Just be aware of the table by the open grill in the kitchen! Wow it’s hot sitting there. We had to move, as did another couple.

Had an amazing night out with my family for a special occasion, the only thing I can say is wow! We all shared the starters but the calamari stuck out for me! Staff were amazing and everything else was spot on. Highly recommend

Had my 30th birthday meal here. From booking to the meal everything was seamless. The lady taking my booking was polite and friendly. Then the day came and they were all ready for us. The waitress took our drinks orders as we were all arriving. Then took our food order as soon as everyone was ready. the starters came out quickly and were delicious and the bread for the table was out of this world. Then the mains arrived. Oh my god it was delicious. I got a mixed grill. There was so much and it tasted amazing. Everyone in our party agreed that they would definitely come back. Then when it came to paying we were very presently surprised how cheap it all was. We will be back very soon!

Had a takeaway from these guys and cannot fault it from start to finish. Easy to order from, Food was quality (especially the Mousaka) Delivery service was spot on, earlier than expected and great customer service. Highly recommend and will be returning once again!

Came here after hearing good reviews and it literally did not disappoint! Food was so nice full of flavour but aside from the food the customer service was great! The waiter we had made sure we was taken care of everything we needed he got it straight away 10/10!! Super friendly, really good price considering some of the Turkish restaurant prices around. I have seen a few comments about it being small, the size of the restaurant doesn’t affect the dining in a negative way at all, if anything it provides a more personal experience as there are less people to attend to. Would definitely recommend others to try it out here and will be returning! Thank you!

We got a choice of where we wanted to sit, great selection of foods on the menu, one waitress called Alex went above and beyond and made the whole experience more enjoyable and memorable. We will definitely be going back soon.
