Stopped here for an impromptu lunch which was absolutely superb. Due to having our large Newfoundland dog with us we sat outside where there was a dog bowl of fresh water. The two ladies who served us were lovely and our meals were excellent. I had the Chicken, Mushroom and Leek pie with mash and vegetables. The pie was probably one of the best I have ever had and the mash and veg were perfectly cooked. My wife had the chicken burger which she said was fantastic. When we return to Frinton we will definitely eat here again.

Sorry to say it was the worst breakfast I've had in the cafe. But if I pay £15.10 for coffee and full English I expect the highest standards. Bacan was so bad I couldn't even eat it. The picture says it all. Who would serve a customer food that looks like that. Lovely staff but all they did was apologised for the drop in standards.

We visited The Falcon just before Christmas, at lunchtime, when it was surprisingly quiet although it was clear that it was going to be a very busy Christmas for them. The menu is modern European and broad enough for most tastes including vegetarian. In the end we settled for a pasta, which was very simple, but of a generous portion and full of taste, and a meat special of the day. We were a little disappointed that there was only one game option as the website suggested that there would be more. For dessert we had the sticky toffee pudding, which was thoroughly excellent - moist and full of zing - and again the portion was easily enough for two. Service was intimate, which perhaps one might expect in a cosy place like this, especially on a quiet day. There are interesting private dining options here too.

Station Cafe in Littleport is a hidden gem for those looking for a cozy and welcoming spot. The staff are friendly, and the food is always fresh and delicious, with a great selection of homemade cakes and hearty sandwiches. Whether you're grabbing a quick coffee or sitting down for a relaxed meal, it’s the perfect stop. The atmosphere is warm, making it ideal for a casual catch-up or a peaceful break. Highly recommended!

It’s always a pleasure to eat at The Olive Tree. The food is top notch, and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly whilst still feeling like a proper treat. Gail and Rafe are so welcoming, it’s like going out and eating at home all at the same time. Love it

Visited The Old Moot House for the first time to try their new smokehouse menu. Firstly the welcome was extremely warm and genuine, and we chatted over a drink in the bar whilst looking at the menu. There was a good selection to choose from, and we opted for the smoked meat platter. It was phenomenal! The quality of the cuts was excellent and the flavour simply delicious - the meat just melted. The sides were very nice, especially the potato cakes. Unfortunately, I didn’t leave enough room for dessert, but will be back to sample one (as well as a cocktail, when I’m not driving). Highly recommend this charming restaurant.

Great little tea rooms, with home made cakes, breakfasts & light bites, all made to order. Very friendly staff to us & our dog, with quick service. Had a lovely large pot of tea for one & cherry almond scone. Although struggled to choose a cake, as so much lovely selection. Prices very reasonable. Would go again if passing the area, but currently on holiday.

Thoroughly enjoyed my evening here! The staff were very welcoming and had good recommendations. The food was delicious, meat cooked perfectly, tasty and tender. The staff even bought out a birthday dessert without us asking as they had just noticed the presents on the table! Such a lovely thought.
