We visited here 2 weeks ago for a coffee and then today for baguettes and drinks and sat outside in the sun. Lovely friendly staff on both occasions. Clean outside tables and lovely clean shop. Delicious baguettes plenty of choice and 2 sizes available. Will definitely return.

We visited this shop at a busy time and queued for around 15 minutes. We ordered a small tuna baguette with cucumber as an extra and cheese with onion as an extra. The baguettes were obviously not fresh and we were charged 75p for 4 pieces of cucumber. I wanted to return them but with such a big queue we didn’t have the time. A very expensive snack with products not to the standard I expected.

Which baguette do you pick?! The sausage and bacon, the chicken and bacon, the hog roast with all the trimmings, the meat feast....oh man, the meat feast!!! Everything I have tried has been so tasty and filling. Did I mention the meat feast?!!! The staff are all so friendly and full of fun. If you need a filling baguette at lunch or a bacon roll for breakfast, pop in and tuck in. Fully recommended

A fantastic little sandwich shop! Decent prices for a good old well-filled baguette! We went back twice in a weekend away. We had crab and roast chicken & stuffing baguettes for lunch on the beach. The ladies wrapped them up nicely and gave us extra napkins (just in case we got messy!). We then decided to have their breakfast wrap on Sunday morning. AMAZING!!!! We were offered tomato or brown sauce in the wraps and they were carefully wrapped so we knew which end to open. Thoroughly yummy and enjoyed sat on the beach in the sunshine.

Was very disappointed with not only the customer service side of things but also the quality of the food, Bacon was hardly cooked and the and the sausage was warm at best, to top it off I got home later that day with frequent stomach cramps and trips to the toilet, very disappointed and would of been better of visiting Mc Donald’s for a quick snack

Not only the pleasure in being looked after by the lovely Gill and her team but also the food is amazing and cooked ready whenever you pop in to eat! Sausage rolls are the best too! Great chat and always a smile when you pass!

I've suffered from an eating disorder for over 16 years and it's resulted in the last six years being nothing but living for half a year at a time in general then transferred to a specialists hospitals and sectioning. I've only recently been released, and admittedly been struggling, the kindness and willingless of the ladies here to deal with excessively particular and bizarre orders without making a person feel unwelcome or just shooing me away really made my time in cromer and because of their lively banter,smiles and accepting they have helped prevent a relapse. One lady in particular who works regularly there is a hidden gem, always a warm smile a giggle and kind word. She's a marvel. The food itself is of best quality being sourced from a local butcher and I most esecially recommend THE best pork and crackling I have come across. Well to be honest need I say any thing else then it got a long suffering anorexic to eat!! I've lived in cromer before and on this occasssion was visiting, either way this is the place to go! Thank you.

I wouldn’t normally review a baguette to be honest with you but here’s why.!Never been to Cromer before and just came across the takeaway because of the seating area outside. Really glad I did the hog roast was delicious and the lady who served me was such a character, very warm and friendly. She was ridiculously run off her feet but nothing was too much trouble, why a star. Good value too

We actually had it twice on the same day! The ‘chef’ did a great job. Not too sure about the pricing though although it was our fault not to challenge it. Anyway it was good food.

I enjoyed a tasty hog roast baguette today from this wonderful shop in Cromer today. The service was friendly with full consideration given to social distancing and safe purchasing. The baguette itself was packed full of perfectly cooked roast pork, stuffing and apple sauce. I have never eaten a hog roast as tasty as this one and wish the proprietors every success.

What a lovely little place, as a visitor to Cromer from Surrey, I had a fab baguette lunch today....Hog roast and the works in gluten free wrap... what a treat, as someone that often struggles to find take way offering a gluten free option, I was pleasantly surprised to stumble on this little gem.... lovely food and lovely smiley staff....

with plenty of crackling when you ask nicely! Service was excellent! My husband and I asked to share and it was cut in halves for us.

Big and Tasty sausage rolls cooked to perfection. A little on the greasy side but very tasty indeed would go again.

Went in for a chicken baguette and this is what I came out with. nothing but fat and grissle absolutely vile went straight in the bin.

Looking for somewhere to supplement our cereal breakfast we discovered this place and order filter coffee and bacon baguettes. Excellent coffee and the baguettes were superb; the bread was warm and the bacon nicely cooked and very good flavour.

We were looking for a bacon batch to keep us ticking over and stumbled across this little gem. The menu was extensive, the staff friendly and the prices reasonable. We each had something different off the menu and our dining experience was silent as we all enjoyed our food so much. The portions were more than generous, the taste and quality of the food awesome.Will definitely be coming back.

I ordered a meat feast baguette to take away - wow - packed with meat and worth every penny. Lots of different combinations of fillings to be had. Saw freshly cooked meats come out of the oven, so everything is as fresh as you can get. Will certainly go back for more! In general the shop is great, staff are friendly, fun and helpful. If you are peckish you can fill up at a very good price compared to other outlets along the high street.

Wife and I popped in for our annual lunch as we have for the last 4 years,couldn't believe how something so simple could be so bad,I'm a painter and decorator and could have used my baguette for rubbing down, honestly, filling sparse for the money and my wife's bacon and cheese was inedible. Something has changed at this place, and it's not for the better. If it's not broken, don't fix it. Absolutely terrible, never going back.

The staff are welcoming and they are all right with you taking your time deciding what you would like. Lots of choice and easy to see what you are getting. There are a few seats but as it is a small restaurant there is not much room. But a lovely place.

We popped in for a quick bite and we both went for the Hog Roast Baguette. What a great choice! Lovely roast pork, stuffing, apple sauce topped off with crackling. This will now become part of our routine whenever we visit beautiful Cromer!

I ordered a Norfolk Hog Roast baguette and my wife chose a prawn baguette. The filling was awesome on both, no skimping here! Mine was full of luscious pork, crackling and stuffing and was seriously tasty. We sat outside and folk passing made comments on how lovely it looked and how nice it smelled. My wife raves about the prawns in hers. Reasonable prices too. Well recommended

A shop with a menu but it is of no use as what they offer they did not have. So not any or enough food prepared. Out of six wanting baguettes , could only provide food for two. While we was there we saw probably 8 more people walk away. Bacon was only just cooked. Sausage was of the cheapest you could buy. Slap together. Out of chicken. After only 1 sandwich. Out of bacon after only 1 sandwich . They don't do beef. Cheep soggy baguettes. Scrag ends of pork. Baggetts used to be packed full. Now more expensive and lacking. We always visited this shop for lunch on holiday. I will never return, shocked at how a business can go from ace to total disgusting. We was here at 12.30pm luch time and the shop was dead I should have smelt a rat then. Oh that would have been food I did not see a rat eighter, that would have been more promising. Anyway rubbish service. rubbish food.hungry customers walking away. Change your ways or you will be closing your doors for good. Provide better food not rubbish.

Food was great and came reasonably quickly having ordered a mixture of hot and cold food. Dogs are welcome for any dog owners like ourselves also. Only thing I would say is seems quite pricey for what the food was especially in comparison to many other similar places visited in the past. Overall still good though.

I used to visit here regularly when the previous owners had this and it was fantastic. I visited again not long after the changeover and was left disappointed with my visit. Giving them the benefit of the doubt I visited again yesterday around lunch time and was greeted with 2 members of staff shouting and one claiming how the other always forgets and burns the food! After they had finished their conversation they decided to serve us and a quick look in the hot food area suggested I was limited as no bacon was available. The 'attempt' at serving up a Hog Roast baguette was atrocious. Apple sauce spilling out of the baguette, Pork that I doubt you could call meat! A mixture of Charcoal and Fat! This place used to be a busy place around lunch but now we notice the lack of customers and it is clear why. Would recommend people find other places to eat and avoid this!

Only popped in for a tea and snack, but art was clean and had a good selection of snacks. We had tea and cake, which was delicious and, although we didn't need it, there were a number of Gluten Free options.

I urge you to try this place. I called on a particularly chilly day and had a terrific hot pork baguette with stuffing, apple sauce and perfect crackling. It was amazing, I shall have another when I next visit. Why would anyone go to a chain outlet when the independent option is so superior?

Wow...what a variety of baguettes and rolls, jacket potatoes with so many fillings , never seen so much choice on offer anywhere else, in the region of 20 choices.

Wide range of filling options for large or small baguettes, hot and cold and can be customised for fussy eaters. Really good value for lunch and snacks and very friendly staff.

Had baguettes from here today. Only thing is that staff ask you if you want this and that be aware that the extras are being charged to you and not included. The price shot up but still reasonable.

Hadn't intended to eat from here, but happened to walk past as (I think) a new set of roast chickens were being bought to the counter. The smell was incredible. Great selection of ingredients to choose from ( the "Hot Dog" sausage is very tasty) and pretty good value for money for a quick bite on the run.

Well what can I say. The baguette that I had was stuffed full of chicken and stuffing and it was delicious. The price wasn't too bad either and the whole family enjoyed their baguettes too. Fantastic little shop and will definitely recommend and will be back for another one when we are back that way.

Went in for an on the go lunchtime takeaway & had an amazing pork baguette with stuffing my workmate had chicken & salad & even though it was a really busy little shop everybody was friendly & helpful, will definitely be back to try out more options

We stopped here for a quick cup of tea and hog roast baguette on a sweltering day service was quick and great value for money they have three tables outside so grab an empty one then send someone to order :)

Never been to a place so rude! Staff don’t listen to orders, I clearly asked for “tuna, cheese and salad” and then was charged extra!!! For two pieces of lettuce and a sprinkle of cheese, no apologies... even my step son commented that I asked for cheese and salad...

Every summer I visit Cromer with family and we have never been disapointed by the delicious baguettes from the Baguette Shop. In fact we all wish we could go there every day for our lunch all year round! The best we've tried so far is roast chicken and stuffing - delicious!

We found this lovely little cafe just by chance . I had a crispy bacon BLT Baguette very nice . Hubby had a bacon one . We will definitely call here again when we visit Cromer .

Visit Cromer yearly with the family. This year lucky enough to be in a holiday home just round the corner from this shop. We visited on the first day and then every day after, sometimes for breakfast sandwiches but mostly for lunch. Can heartily recommend the hot pork and stuffing, Norfolk chicken, and the bacon, Brie and cranberry. Will be back next year!

This is just what you need when on the go! A freshly made baguette with your choice of various fillings. The price is really good too.

We opted for the roast pork and also the chicken/bacon. Can highly recommend both and the baguettes were very fresh too. Will definitely return!

Always visit when we are in Cromer. Excellent fresh filled rolls with every filling to suit all tastes. The staff are always very pleasant and chatty. Although a small seating area inside there are tables outside which are ideal when the sun is shining.

Right in the high street 5 mins beach and pier. Fabulous hog roast, chicken bit dry suggest putting bacofoil to stop drying out. But really good generally especially in summer sitting outside.

This excellent little food outlet right in the heart of Cromer deserves to succeed, and if you're in the area it's worth a visit to enjoy some of the tastiest baguettes around. This is thanks to the well-cooked deliciious fillings provided by local suppliers and fresh baguettes. Sausage rolls are also memorable.

Hot and Cold freshly prepared baguettes made to order at reasonable prices. Coronation Chicken was amazing. Eat in or take away. Delicious!

Right in high st this little cafe offers great pulled pork and chicken plus much more. A few tables outside to watc the hustle and bustle of cromer. Can be busy but worth the wait.

Hog Roast Baguette es el camino hacia delante, pero puede tener otras cosas calientes como pollo, bacon, salchichas o frío footlong ensaladas, queso, etc, o si se siente saludable no cajas ensalada! Llegamos un almuerzo y llamado en la tienda de la baguette por algo de comer y beber. El personal era amable y la comida y a un precio razonable. Sólo un par de mesas afuera. Pero aún así vale la pena una visita.

I have not been in Cromer for thirty years. I was recommended by a friend to visit the Baguette Shop. Delicious, really tasty food, with an emphasis on local sourcing. As a livestock farmer I approve completely. Very friendly and helpful staff, and a fast service. Fantastic value as well.

Absolutely lovely food and drinks! Nice and clean and the people that work there are lovely! I have been going a rather lot now. The first time I went was with my boyfriend and he absolutely loves the food too.

They were huge and very tasty.We had everything in them, even crackling, yummy.We sat outside and ate them.

We were lucky to get a table as it was very busy. we were even luckier that it was near the entrance as the rear of the shop was extremely hot. The service was quite quick and friendly, but the layout made you feel like you were sitting in an ants nest with the busy servers and customers coming and going. There was a good selection of food available. Our food was fine, although nothing to get excited about, and, in our opinion, a little on the expensive side for what we got. We enjoyed our drinks, one tea, one coffee, and would go again, perhaps at a less popular time!

My husband was feeling a bit peckish, so decide to try the hog roast sandwich with apple sauce. He only got the medium size but said it was beautiful and tasty and really big enough as it really was stuffed full of pork. It was that good we had to go back the next day for another one.

This small shop offers some lovely filled rolls the hog roast roll is particularly nice. Ideal lunch location if you like sitting outside in the centre of busy Cromer. Nice on a warm sunny day. Not expensive.

We had spent a few hours in Cromer and were on our way back to the car park. We had intended to get a bite to eat on the way but not really decided what or where. The Baguette Shop came into view and we decided to check it out.The menu was quite wide and the prices competitive so we went inside. The shop has mainly pavement seating but I imagine most people use as we did - for a takeaway.I was very impressed from the very start. Our baguettes were made to order unlike some larger places, and I surprised - and impressed - when I was asked if I'd been given enough cranberry or did I wan't some more. They certainly didn't skimp on the fillings for either of us. The baguettes were individually placed in cellophane/paper bags for us to take away. We added crisps and drinks before we left.The service and the prices were both excellent. I don't know how long The Baguette Shop has been going, but they deserve to be in business for a long time. Well done, thank you!

We had a number of wraps and Baguettes from here, especially the hog roast, which comes with crackling, stuffing and apple sauce, delicious.Prices are competitive but I can get busy at meal times if you are hoping to sit at the tables outside.

We visited Cromer on a lovely sunny day and so we just wanted to get some take out lunch to eat on the beach. I must say The Baguette Shop was the perfect discovery. Lunch for 2 adults and 2 children was £12. Our kids are quite fussy but they both found something on the menu they were happy to eat and really enjoyed it. Couldn't ask for more really - we liked it so much we went back the next day!

We come to Cromer every year and the visits aren't complete without several trips to the baguette shop! The hot chicken and stuffing baguette is amazing! And my husband has a salad box every time choc full of everything imaginable! Very very nice and worth a visit!

Very enjoyable and great if you are short of time. There are half hour free parking bays close to this shop so it is handy.We had bacon baguettes & pork/stuffing. Both were really tasty and reasonably priced.There is a small amount of seating outside. Perfect on a sunny day.Staff were friendly & helpful. What more could you ask for on a morning!

Nice for quick snack to take away (only 2 tables are available outside so like a lottery find one free) my bf had a pok baguette which was really nice while I went for the sausage baguette which was filled with an huge but, unluckily cheap sausage.My bas luck as usual: will go for a chicken one if again in Cromer

On a recent visit we found the Baguette shop by smell...we walked past and the smell of hog roast was too much to walk past. The bagguette shop had a very good priced menu and was a joy to find amongst the many fish and chip shops smelling of fat. Two hog roast baguettes and two coffees for just over £8 was great and can be highly recommend. Coffee could have been better but the hot hog roast was well worth it. We sat outside because we had our dog so it was not ideal on the pavement. If you want a good small meal or snack that doesn't include fatty chips then this is the best place, they have a good healthy choice. The staff are very efficient and polite and that maked a big difference to me.

There's nothing better thean somewhere cooking a traditional sunday roast ..but in a shop..ready for you to chomp on in a baguette or roll...yummmmm

Best baguette shop around. Meet a lovely elderly lady there who travels all the way from Norwich every week for a hog roast baguette. She even showed me the end of the roll where the filling went right to the end. Everything is cooked on site, so fresh. Bags of filling. Polite friendly staff that really care what they serve. Excellent coffee as well. Well Done

Anybody looking for a first class sandwich/baguette in Cromer this is the place. Arguably, in my experience, the best in East Anglia! From hog roasts, bacon butties, beef sarnies and every tasty filling you can think of, everything is fresh, scrumptious and well served by very friendly staff. And good value too!

Never felt the need to review a sarnie shop but The Baguette Shop in Cromer is worth praise for the very friendly helpful and patient service and for the exceptional quality of their grub. First class - will pay you a visit next time we're up from Suffolk. Thank you guys so much!
