Best family run chippy around. We order here every Thursday without fail, and it’s always spot on. The chips are tasty and fresh and the lady and gent behind the counter are always super friendly. I highly recommend!

The fish had a thick skin still on it, the chipps were too oily. The staff were very nice, but didn't accept card payments.

Super clean, very friendly staff who were very patient as my son deliberated over sausage or fish bites! The portion of fish was like a whale and the best chips we have had in a long time, all cooked fresh. We will be back.

Just had a large Cod cooked to order, was worth the wait, fish was huge portion, batter nice and crispy and fish not over cooked.

We treat ourselves to Ocean fish most weeks . It is always fresh and tasty. Nice and hot. Staff are polite and friendly. They remember customers orders.

I ordered a large Cod and Chips. Wow, talk about large. I’ve never had such generous portions in my life. Fish cooked amazingly well, chips are first class. If this was my local chippy I’d move in! Well done guys, top marks :-)

Best place for fish & chips in Bedford! Huge portion sizes (order a large chips and see for yourself!), great taste and curry sauce is unbeatable here. Anything that’s battered is made fresh to order so always crispy. A doner wrap is absolutely packed and only £3.80. Come here for lunch every Thursday/Friday. Great for a filling take-away, wish I lived a little closer!

Understaffed, waited 15 minutes for sausage and chips, eventually walked out got fed up of waiting. There was only 3 people waiting to be served, yet no chips were ready and very little else prepared. Shop clearly mis-managed.

Fish cooked fresh to order, what's not to like! Crispy better, great chips and to mushy peas and tonight I was offered some complimentary curry sauce, which I haven't had for a very long time was the best.. highly recommend this plaice, if you pardon the pun!😀 and the staff are always super friendly and you feel like they really value your custom. Which makes a refreshing change!

Lovely father and son proprietors here, we arrived just before closing and they let us stay inside and eat after hours as it was freezing outside. Food was excellent, my partner is the biggest food critic I know and she loved the spicy chicken burger. Great place thank you both.

Chicken kebab is amazing!! Nice and spicy and that's without the chilli sauce. Huge portion sizes we had 2 mixed kebabs with salad, onion rings, large chips and 4 cans all under £16. Friendly staff. will be returning very soon :)

The staff are always very friendly and polite. They offer a good menu at reasonable prices. Fish, scampi etc is usually cooked to order so is hot with a crispy coating and the chips are never greasy. Happy to recommend.

Sadly disappointing, under cooked chips , dryed our batter on fish £5.90 ! £4.20 for Fish I asked for a small portion of chips ( I don’t want enough chips to feed a small army ) that’s £1.70 for a small portion of chips ! .
