Kokoro Bedford in Bedford

I recommend, we just eat there and all was really good, nice place, smaller but really clean. The food was great.

Wonderful food when I went at a reasonable price. Lots of menu options. Staff were very friendly. The restaurant has a reasonable ambience.

I came here for salmon sushi and got just what i wanted. Was £9.95 which is about right for what i got, although a bit more sushi would also seem fair…. The salmon all tasted lovely, the rice could use a dash more flavour but it was nice nonetheless, the list of ingredients on the box was useful too. The soy sauce was slightly lower quality however and the “wasabi” was actually just horseradish, dye, and flavouring! Explains why it stung me right in the brain, use sparingly, especially since there isn’t much soy sauce provided, I’m sure i could have asked for more though. There is also some pink ginger and a lemon wedge which are very nice. The provided salad could be a bit better too, but overall im still happy with my food. When i entered the sushi box i wanted was not available, so the sushi chef prepared it within 5 minutes as promised and was very courteous. One grudge i have is the severe lack of ambience, the place is clean, bright, and modestly decorated, but it could do with some light music since the whirring of the refrigeration isn’t exactly pleasing. The availability of Halal meat is also very good, but there are still pork options for those more into pork. Overall I’m still pleased with my visit.

The place looked very nice wasn't too busy the only thing that kinda let it down was the sushi that I payed for, could of had more flavor in the fish and not taste like bland to be honest. 😐🤙

Great little restaurant, beautifully cooked food and.."a view of Bedford". Not the restaurant's fault, though. Would definitely recommend for a healthy bite to eat

I don't have much to say, The place is alright, quite small, but good food. Kind of expensive in my opinion, but won't bankrupt you. Overall, will go again, just not too soon.

The food is so good and very good value speaking from a student. The staff are really nice and it's an easily accessible location, definitely coming back :)

Very decent sushi which is much needed in our little town, so I'd encourage everyone to try and enjoy. If anything needs improving - kimchi. The worst and highly overpriced kimchy I've ever tried. But I would go back for sushi and sashimi.

Liked the place a lot. Clean, bright, friendly, simple menu of decent staples from the East. Just what Bedford town centre needs. V good value too. Go.

Good service and delicious food but lack of ambiance. Good location right in city centre. Yeah I can try more.

Good,tastey for quick sevisr and good staff, needs more seating but given space to be expected. Definitely worth going if hungry.

I was very excited to see kokoros have opened in bedford however I was so disappointed with my meal. I got the sweet chilli chicken and the chicken was so hard and tasted like old chicken. Won’t be going again. On the plus side they have halal options

Honestly I never had a bad bowl from Kokoro. Other than their beef and pumpkin, I have tried everything else. Even though it looks kinda pricey, the portion sizes are huge and are extremely generous with the amount of meat. Friendly staff that are great and keeps the place tidy. Only drawback is lack of paying through cash which might deter some people (I prefer card payment anyway). I recommend trying their Korean Chilli chicken, sweet chilli chicken and their Katsu curry.

This must be joke! I came here with my son because he loves noodle from Kokoro in MK. They served us overcooked spaghetti! Not noodles.

Love Kokoro, they have some of the best sushi! Wish they had more vegan options, but that's the same as everywhere 😂

Just wondered into town for some dinner, found kokoro and it is possibly the best take away I've had. The food was delicious-- very fresh and flavourful and the portion sizes were very generous. But true credit to the staff themselves, even though we came in a little later in the day, they were so friendly and helpful. Chris walked me through my first time ordering there. Would highly recommend

You can only pay by CARD!!!!! Business that do not offer customer a choice but demand you pay by card and make banks richer can close as far as I am concern. I wont miss you!

Would always have been 5 stars but what have you changed the noodles for ?? Thinner ones not as enjoyable , please bring back original noodles 🙏 😢 😫

id say best asian spot in bedford. portion sizes are generous. food tastes immaculate. workers are extremely kind and lovely.

Was almost all good but some pieces of chicken( had sweet chilli and sweet sour with noodles) was kinda like gum, old or reheated too many times , kinda dissapointing due to those couple pieces but overall price and portion is balanced nicely. I think it was around 12-12:30 today. Was around 4 pieces i think more on sweet chilli as i took mix one. Anyway will try other dishes next time :)

Food was yummy! Had the chicken teryaki with rice. I thought the staff could be more attentive but other than that very clean dining area and lovely food.

I've tried the sweet chilli chicken with rice and the katsu chicken curry with noodles. Absolutely incredible! The flavours go beyond with every bite. It is worth noting that the chicken served is indeed halal. Definitely recommend if your looking for some quality Asian food.

The food was raw, it made me physically throw up. I would definitely not recommend the food it was despicable

thought i’d give this place a try since the MK one is amazing and ordered a sweet chilli chicken. Was extremely disappointed, whoever works at that kitchen needs to be sacked. IMMEDIATELY. It tasted like ketchup mixed with sugar and the worst part about it is that it tasted metallic and the chicken wasn’t cooked properly or coated in the sauce properly. The food was warm and the noodles were soggy. Extremely disappointed and not worth the money, i’ll stick to MK

The Katsu Curry here was better than Wagamama's

The chicken was hard and stale, you can tell it has been out long or been refried/reheated many times. Quite disappointed as I only noticed when I got home. The food had to go in the bin.

I was really excited to try this place but the food was a bit disappointing. I will definitely come back and try other things though. Firstly I had the chilli tofu with rice… very spicy sauce with little flavour apart from chilli, could only eat half of it. Rice was ok. Seaweed salad was a bit sweet and chewy… would not order that again. Salmon nigiri.. nice size 4 pack, perfect rice, well cut salmon. Mango Aloe drink… gorgeous, I want another right now!
