Hometown Cafe & Grill in Bedford

Hometown grill is one of my favourite places to eat in Bedford. I've been a repeat customer for over a year. The staff are very friendly and polite. The food is consistently very good. Clean and pleasant environment. A very happy customer here.

Fantastic service from order to delivery. Food fresh and incredibly tasty. Prices very reasonable for the amount of food. We had grilled chicken, grilled lamb chops, rice & chips. Special touch with reminding us what time Iftar was as I got it wrong and had guests coming, so this saved us. Great experience!

It's my first time ordering from here and I got naga kebab and chicken fillet burger. I am not a big fan of kebab but the kebab was absolutely AMAZING and THE BEST I have EVER tried. My son was very happy with his chicken burger. I'm glad to have found a place like that and will happily to spend my money here. The delivery was in time too.

I must say orderd first time and well god dam the service amazing packageing spot smart and clean Only downside was the loaded chips just wish for more cheese Donor just needed naan bread to make it better for value but was tasty Fresh juice was lovely hope it was proper fresh juice as it was nice to the meal Worth every penny

One of the best Asian food we have tried in years and definitely the best in Bedford. We have been a regular customers since we moved from London 2 years ago. Food is lovely and served very quickly. Their delicious food, the generous quantity and friendly staffs will surely make you recommend this place to others!

Best food in Bedford. Used to travel to Luton for food as Bedford had no good food spots until this place has come along. Owners are very friendly and the atmosphere is lovely. Would highly recommend you try this place! You won’t regret it. Food is delicous!

This restaurant and staff, especially ’Abdul’ is an ABSOLUTE GEM hidden in the heart of Kempston. Abdul is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING with his great customer service ! The food here is TREMENDOUSLY DELICIOUS, and I am a huge food fan and In my 54 years of trying and tasting, the Butterfly Chicken, which I truly recommend, is DEFINITELY one of the best dishes !

Great turkish restaurant, ordered the fire grilled chicken which was fantastic- chicken was juicy and tender with lots of herby flavours. The karak chai drink was great too. Abdul who attended to us was friendly and professional, definitely to visit if you are in the area!

I’ve been here many times now and it’s time to provide a review. What can I say…food is spot on! There’s not many places where a chicken fillet burger is cooked with great consistency and the naga doner, Where do we begin! If you need something to hit your soul, get this! Customer service was great with Abdul, who was welcoming.

Ordered 2 Donna box meals and hot chicken wings. . Asked for garlic mayo. Said they didn't have any but sauces already in box. I asked how did they know what sauces I want. They said they just put standard sauces in. Which turn out to be ketchup and mayo. I don't require either. So waste of sauce which could have been given to another customer. Got given some mega hot sauce, I assume for the 'hot' wings, which was burning hot, I'd have preferred a piri sauce. Then u have to add the salad to your kebab yourself and I had no preferential sauce for my kebab. Nice food but don't cater for sauce lovers whatsoever. Such a shame as the good reviews are not reflective on the restaurant. Also small portions....this plastic sheet at te bottom is unnecessary too. I almost ate it and gets in the way. We're still hungry. Won't be returning.

My wife and I have been to Hometown Cafe and Grill at least 4 times. The food is good and varied,well cooked always with a hint of spice, however if you like very hot spicy food, this place is a must. Abdul who runs the cafe is always very friendly, and can recommend a dish for every palate

It is a bit pricy but it's really good. No regrets every time I order take away to them. Ecofriendly and ok for vegetarian people. They service is excellent. Nice veggie burger but it will be better with soyameat. Their dim paratha are sublime I just cannot afford to order anymore do to my economical situation. I hope they keep their business for the time I go back to be regular customer again.

We've just finished our first ever takeaway from these guys and we'll 💯 be back again, what a find! Everything they delivered was superb, honestly didn't think that a gourmet burger could be delivered as if it had just been cooked but they smashed it! Amazing food, highly recommend!

Grilled chicken is tasty, moist and fresh. Corn on the cob with a touch of sauce is excellent. Loaded chips are nice. Naga Donner is amazing but be warned it is hot. The burger was a disappointment. The patty was dry, cheese had no taste, sauce was tasteless, even the extra ketchup i asked for was tasteless. Nevertheless this place gets a 5 star from me.

We had just ordered Pani puri. They took 20 mins to give the item when we were the only customer. The Pani puri has chilli flakes inside it and it's the worst Pani puri I have ever had. So much attitude for the staff who served us. Will never visit this place again.

Order some food every time they mess my order up this time I wanted a donnor wrap I said no mayonnaise I just want chilli sauce but they still messed it up and no apologies will never order from them again I order couple times a week the service is too bad now I pay for the service and don’t say you extra mile because when you for my peri peri rice did you sent it to me think twice before you say any I put the phone down because I called and requested but you still sent it to they way you wanted your staff never said he is going to send another one out stop lying and stop saying you go a mile for I don’t go and ask for charity I pay for it.well if you resolve the the you need send the same meal to me again the way I wanted.

We've been ordering from Hometown for about a year now, and they're absolutely magic. The food is clearly cooked with care and attention every time. I usually order the 1/2 fire chicken, witch can give Nandos a run for it's money 7 days out of 7. I also once ordered a hot chicken wrap from them, thinking it would only be of small size, and it was so large and so well-loaded, it lasted me two days! The KFC Twister wrap officially has a heavyweight competitor. The chips are crispy and seasoned beautifully every time too, not limp or soft or wet like a lot of big chain takeaways tend to be when you order in. I've also sampled the sizzling minted lamb chops and the sizzling whole sea bass, and both were divine (even if the portion sizes of both dishes leave something to be desired!). We're exceptionally lucky to have Hometown Cafe here in Kempston, Bedfordshire. Order in and taste it for yourselves.

Dined in at Hometown with a team of 10 work colleagues. A very good choice of starters and mains. We tried a range of dishes. Catered for vegetarians too. Service was very good and friendly staff.
