Thank you for the amazing birthday cupcakes. They looked too good to eat but my daughter and her friends ate them all anyway and didn't leave me a crumb!

Best bread in Bedford, only bakery open from 7am in the area which is very convenient. Tried many cakes as well and they were all really nice. Service is more than perfect, both staff members are always happy to give recommendations and make sandwiches for every taste possible. Absolutely recommend this place!!!

This is the best bakery in Bedford BY FAR. Their bread is always so fresh and often warm (if you come in the morning). Cakes are absolutely delicious and a must try! They also do sandwiches to order which are so so good if you are looking for a nice quick lunch option. Service is always very welcoming and they are very friendly! Would 100% recommend! We only eat bread from there as it is made in house and is just the best!

Just bought some chocolate cake from here. It is so dry it has to be days old very disappointing….

Have stopped here a couple of mornings now to get a pasty for breakfast. Very nice especially the lovely pastry they use. Friendly staff.

Anna and kamil are a great couple,the food they provide is amazing love all the polish food and British foods and the pizza slices are fantastic great cakes very welcoming service love shopping in there,certainly recommend for people to visit and try some great foods

First visit to The Bakery, bought a loaf of sourdough bread. Excellent quality bread and far superior to most other local breads, and good service. Will happily return for more bread and will try their other delicious products.

Everything was so delicious! Owners put their whole heart to baking all this goods. The lady was very helpful and kind.

Part of my order was a bottle of cola which clearly stated £1.20 on the bottle however when paying was charged £1.90. When I pointed it out the lady serving was rude and said ‘that’s just a guide’. I’m sure that is incorrect as it was clearly advertised as a different price. Never heard that before. Won’t be back. Con artist.

I requested a white sourdough loaf, but when I got home I found it was NOT sourdough. I had previously purchased a very nice sourdough loaf at this shop. Won't be a returning customer.

Very friendly staff, and great selection of lovely foods. Highly recommended. It's one of our favourite little Bedford bakeries. It's our go-to for bread, but it's also a convenient stop for a quick lunch on the go, and we love to occasionally treat ourselves with their gorgeous desserts.

Probably The best place in Bedford. Amazing variety of cakes and pastries. Bread is very good to, too shelf (literally tok as it is on top shelf). Since I discovered this place it is the only place I buy bakery products from (apart from making my own when I got time). I would highly recommend it. Staff is very friendly too and even offered to provide with something I requested as it wandt available in the shop and now it is. 10 stars :)

Superb bread and great apple biscuits. Lucky to have these quality homemade products in our local shop.

The new Italian owners have added a couple of products... so the bread is delicious as always, with a couple of loaves added. They also offer sweet treats, pastries and the occasional homemade Italian dessert too. It's in good hands!

Great little shop friendly assistance from staff shame it's shutting in a year

My problem with this bakery isn't so much that their product is bad it's just that whenever I take a look the never seem to offer anything I couldn't buy in a corner shop. it's possible that they just don't have anything available whenever I happen to pop in but I can't seem to ever find pastries. They never seem to even have ciabata which, in an area so thick with Italian heritage is frankly baffling. What's the point of a bakery that offers less choice and variety than Tesco?
