Lovely Greek salad and friendly service.

The staff are always so incredible and friendly. The food is lush and good value for money. The Greek Salad is amazing!! My husband loves the fried chicken and the potatoes. Great chippy!

Ordered large fish and chips- average price of £12. The fish qualify was very poor. It was dry (tasted like it was not fresh at all). The batter was thick. The chips were average. The service was quick and good. Quick because the fish and chips are pre cooked and not cooked to order. Which might have been the reason why the fish was dry, as it might have been cooked well before I had it given to me.

We had two medium fish and chips, a saveloy, mushy peas and curry sauce. The whole meal was definitely worth the £30 we paid. The fish and chips weren't greasy and were both really tasty. Portions were a great size! A clean and friendly fish bar.

First time going here this week , was so nice we had it again . Highly recommend

Gluten free fish and chips available on Tuesdays. Cooked seperately to all other items. I believe they were air fried as the food was not greasy at all and really tasty. Great news for Coeliacs in Bedford 👍

I had heard good things about Rumbles and thought I'd try it myself! Lovely welcoming atmosphere. Service was friendly and very quick! And the food was delicious 😋 will definitely be coming back. A new favourite.

I was confused about the colour of the chicken wings , business owner alex took me inside to show me the method of cooling and how the wings are marinated in seasoning which is why the inside can look a pink colour. Very impressed with the service!

I would give ZERO stars if I could. The manner in which we were spoken to was disgusting, either equal to or more so than the food. We returned our kebabs as the yoghurt tasted tangy and like it curdled. For the main guy at the front of the counter to Shout that YOGHURT DOES NOT GO OFF ITS A BACTERIA. I think this statement alone is enough of a concern without the poor service.

Kebab with chilli sauce to die for

One of the worst fish and chips I’ve ever had!!! Chips just tasted of old dirty oil, the battered sausage was soggy and completely inedible and the friend chicken was dry and tasteless with the batter uncooked on the inside. Meal was so awful it was inedible, complete waste of time and money. Was left feeling unwell all night and wouldn’t return again. Avoid !!!!!

Friendly staff, efficient service, the potatoes are delicious 😋 and we love the Greek salads. Plaice cooked to order and normal fish and chips always fresh and tasty.

Usually go down on a Friday night after work & granted it is busy, but the service and food is usually okay. A couple of weeks ago did the same, ordered in the shop and stood to the side waiting for the order (one adult and two children). I purposefully stood right next to the counter to hear my order read out for collection. After 20+ mins of patience, a lady in the queue asked me if ours was ready yet and I said no. I politely queried if it was ready with the guy who seems to run the establishment and was appalled at how he spoke to me. It was so aggressive and accusatory when I was querying very courteously. He said he’d been saying my order was ready for ages and I said i had been standing listening the whole time and had not heard it. He scolded me like a naughty child infront of everyone in the shop and my children. I left and did not make a fuss, the food by this time was cold and he does not deserve the business if he thinks it’s ok to treat regular customers or otherwise like that. Food is generally okay but nothing to rave about. Maybe a course in customer relations and service would do this chap well.

A massive thank you to Rob & Alex for yet another great staff lunch. This is the second time they have cooked our staff monthly lunch for us of approximately 30 meals . They are always so organised and accommodating at our request of not cooking certain items together due to dietary requirements, everything is always cooked fresh and on time ready for us to collect. Myself and my daughter made an order when it was delivered it was completely wrong!!! But we were exhausted and didn’t bother saying anything at the time. The following day I went in, and very discreetly asked to speak to the manager about the situation. It wasn’t just the wrong order. It was also raw. The chicken was still severely uncooked. I kept the chicken burgers so that I could show him He was so rude shouted at me and told me that everybody loves his chicken burgers and to get out the shop and never come back . As I’ve been very discreet, I was upset that he had raised his voice to me in front of other customers queueing. I have also experienced the males in the shop luring at me every time I’m in there and asking personal questions it’s very uncomfortable and you don’t expect it as a paying customer I think food hygiene should check their hygiene within the kitchen

It’s rare to find a chippy that does gluten free battered fish and honestly it was delicious. The best I’ve had. Excellent service and brilliant for anyone who’s got allergies, very clean, positive atmosphere ❤️

The fish and chips were the best I've ever had crispy, golden batter and perfectly cooked, flaky fish. The chips were equally impressive, with a delightful crunch on the outside and fluffy insides. The service was top-notch as well. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed.

My first experience with UK fish and chips and it was a hit. I loved the mushy peas and curry sauce. It was a great meal and one order would have been more than enough for my partner and I.

This evening I placed an order for a large portion of chips, battered sausage and 3 pots of curry sauce which came to £11.20. I came home to open up my food and find most of the chips burnt. It’s my second time ordering from here but I won’t be going again.

I have known the owners Alex and Rob since they opened their first kebab shop many years ago. I can only say the people of Wooton have got themselves a great new kebab shop. The brothers are both really nice guys and serve excellent food and nothing is ever too much hassle. The food was always excellent and massive servings of everything.

Used many chip shops over the years, but Rumbles is by far our favourite. Staff are always friendly and helpful, they actually read the notes you put in when you order and are quick to resolve issues (of which there are very, very few). Food is always piping hot and extremely tasty no matter what you order. We recommend the loaded chips, mixed kebab or bacon cheeseburger as some of our personal favourites! 👌😊

We all know what our local chippy means to us and how great we find there food! However this is not my local chippy but will adventure out just to make my way to wootton rumbles. The chips are always top tier and decent chips is a must in our house! The fish is always fresh and even the kebabs are decent which is sometimes hard to find! You always are greeted with a smile along with friendly and quick service. Food portions are generous and a large cod and chips will feed both my partner and I. Always love it here.

We often go to Rumbles and are slowly working our way through the menu! The range is impressive and the taste is brilliant on everything, from the salads to the scampi! Portion size is always great, whether a falafel wrap or a chicken fillet burger. All of the staff are polite, friendly and always deliver great service. Thank you Rumbles, we'll see you soon!

Rumbles are a great little asset to Wootton. Firstly the service, always friendly and welcoming and always apologetic when there is a delay (not needed, busy is good for you! But thanks anyway). The food is fresh, good quality and always tastes good. I actually find the portion sizes to be very generous… another positive. Recently I was given a free pot of the homemade chilli sauce to try. Verdict wise… Very flavoursome, not overly spicy and goes very well with the lovely chicken or donor meat they do. Thanks Rumbles for providing an excellent chippi right in our doorstep with great food and friendly staff!
