The best restaurants in East of England

First visit and stumbled against it looking for a decent restaurant and it definitely didn’t disappoint. The whole experience was lovely and the food gave us a taste of Greece we have missed due to Covid.

Ordered chicken shish with rice got a box full of rice and 4 pieces of small chicken for £10 , place was dirty and staff coughing constantly , food was average and tasteless go somewhere else

We eat at Nirvana regularly, and credit where credit is due. Great food and service, very friendly and efficient. Always welcoming.

Visited for the first time on a very busy Saturday evening this interesting restaurant in a very attractive small town just of the high street. Its a modern bar/restaurant with an area outside for eating too with free parking. The staff are very friendly and the service was attentive the whole evening. The Asian menu offers main meals or tapas with the best of ingredients used.

Solo se detuvo durante la noche en Bedford de camino a Londres y fue al pub Devonshire donde la joven que servía dijo que había escuchado buenos informes sobre el restaurante. No decepcionó la comida era tan buena como cualquier indio que he tenido. El servicio del personal fue excelente. Una bienvenida amable cuando llegamos y un buen ambiente.

Very friendly pub ,efficient service.gigantic portions of excellent food ,so full when we came out we won’t eat anything else today!

Took my wife, elderly father and son for a bite to eat and a pint on Saturday afternoon. Busy but prompt and friendly service with a good range of beer. Traditional pub food on offer with other options - I had the chicken fajitas, dad had the steak and ale pie,!my wife had the ribs and my son had scampi - all food nice and hot, plenty of it and genuinely tasty. Highly recommend - thanks for looking after us

Went there for our wedding anniversary dinner.... Fantastic ambience with stunning decor, excellent flavours from all starters and mains we ordered, amazing cocktails, and customer service was top notch.... Will definitely recommend and go back again. The live entertainment was also good.

What a lovely fish bar. It appears to be an independent, owner run business. Everyone was very welcoming and accommodating. The cod was exceptional….fresh, large meaty chunks with ample ‘proper’ chippy chips. All in all… Great value. For my tastes, the curry sauce lacked substance, very thin but everything else was really tasty. We will be back.

Lively place, good food served very quickly, interesting menu with new/different dishes, friendly staff. Byob policy is great.

We decided to make the most of the medium fish and chips deal which was very tasty and certainly generous! Sausages and burger are also excellent and the staff are welcoming and efficient Thanks!

We had the special smoked salmon potatoe rosti avocado poached egg, absolutely delicious. Would recommend. Cosy warm and friendly ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
