The best restaurants in East of England

Booked a table a week in advance, came on time only to be told they didn’t have room. Ask to return in 30min which we did only to be turn away again. Ruined night out.

We stopped here on the off chance and so very glad we did. Hubby ordered fish chowder with a big crusty roll and I had crab and butternut squash soup with a roll too. It was a cold and very rainy day and this just hit the spot. Can honestly say it’s the best homemade soup either of us have ever had, which is the reason for the review. Absolutely delicious. Overpriced, slapdash service and a menu which is barely meze. Maybe 3 items on the menu can be classed as Meze. Really disappointing that some of us had finished our meals before all of the plates had emerged from the kitchen. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Best chicken burger I've had It comes close to kfc and i prefure it I'm shocked the seasoning is on point 10 out 10 don't ever change up that chicken burger is gold 🥇

I was completely unimpressed and disappointed with my breakfast at cloud9. Service and food was poor. Remember this place being great but believe changed hands which caused it to go downhill. I would not recommend.

Sunday lunch for two and jolly good value for money. The restaurant is bright and airy but I thought the seat at my table was a wee bit low for my liking. I opted for mushrooms on toast for starters which was very tasty but the toast was made from some kind of wholemeal grained bread which was as hard and unyielding as a roof tile, why not try a nice slice of white Farmhouse. My main was roast beef which was delicious although the mashed potato had been overworked giving it a glutinous texture. The Green King IPA was excellent.

Don't let the random location put you off - we really enjoyed our first visit as a group of friends for a birthday lunch; funky decor, really busy and nice buzzy atmosphere, great service, friendly staff, lovely food with good size portions and loads of vegan options. We were put in a little side room off the main restaurant which suited us fine - it was lovely to have some privacy whilst still being able to see what was going on. Will definitely go back again

Great little cabin on North Denes Great Yarmouth, very very dog friendly and have great doggie sausages Food is good and reasonably prices Only down side is there are only 4 tables inside and nearly everyone sits outside - if weather is bad thats bad, pity they could not get an awing over the side and front
