The Way Coffee House in Central Bedfordshire

Popped in today with my daughter for a coffee never been before but we had a great experience the staff were friendly the place had a lovely atmosphere it was Clean will definitely recommend and will be returning soon

I couldn't understand how this cafe got such a high score. I will write in detail why I gave it a low score. I don't want you to think it's an incorrect comment. First of all, it's very close to the parking lot. The interior doesn't have any features to be rated in terms of decoration, but if we were to give it a score, I think it could be considered good. What bothered us the most was a strange smell. We quickly drank our coffee and left because of the smell. Frankly, I didn't like the cake, I wouldn't recommend it. It was a really bad experience for us. I think the smell bothered us a lot, it's really strange that there are no negative comments. Finally, the staff was very nice.

Divine establishment, coffee always tastes amazing and if you haven’t yet, Hannah’s brownie, you’re missing out big time if you haven’t had it yet! Thank you for always making each visit a great one!

Well worth going there if you are in the neighbourhood. People very helpful and friendly and a nice place to kick back and relax for a little while.

Tasty (apple with walnuts) cake and cappuccino with oat milk. You can order cold drinks as well. There's toilet at the entrance and another one deep inside coffee house in the corridor. You can even find TV and brochures of social groups inside. Mismatched chairs really add charm to this place. Visit date 19.10.2024

Very friendly atmosphere with a variety of delicious food. We pop in for lunch regularly and we always get a warm welcome. The Wednesday evening activities are worth looking into as well.

This a very lovely community cafe place which have very friendly people and affordable food. Cakes locked lovely and I had a little bite of some of it, really enjoyed it. Will come back again

Hands down has the nicest iced coffee I’ve ever tried. Such a welcoming atmosphere and a great place for people to come and hear about God and build fellowship.

Top-notch cakes and panini's. Other foods look just as good but as not tried them, not given full five stars for food. Probably should have!

Fabulous place! Incredibly reasonable prices - 2 coffees and 2 cakes for £8. So nice to be able to go somewhere that’s not a pub or a restaurant before the theatre on a weeknight. WILL be back.

Love their lattes - you can choose decafe or normal. Choice of sandwiches, cakes and pastries. Great calming atmosphere.

Been here before, ideal for a coffee/tea and something to eat. Nice staff and good service. Would recommend it as prices are reasonable too.

Always friendly. Great coffee and a good standard collection of cakes with regular specials. Lunchtime soup or jacket potatoes, plus selection of toasties available for lunch.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly service, great quality food and drink at affordable prices.

First visit to coffee shop last month was fantastic second visit this week was poor service customer service. Entered the shop and sat down at the back table a min later a friend joint me with her two small young children we ordered and got served our drinks a minute later a group of people entered holding a bible session and a member of staff then asked us to move tables to the front as we were “just too loud” we were just talking to each other while children played with small toys. I myself find it very difficult to go out due to my PTSD and I think the older generation has forgotten what it’s like how much preparation it takes to even leave the house with two young children . We felt like we were being told off for having a conversation in a sociable environment and being excluded especially as we were there first and we felt a private biblical study group could of attended somewhere else in a church and church hall rather than expecting quite in a coffee shop. We got moved to a table at the front where was small and compact not a lot of room to accommodate a double buggy and older people weren’t happy about two younger children being in the front of the shop and kept looking at us we quickly had to exit . What I thought was a hidden gem wasn’t a good experience second time we wouldn’t be returning!

Lovely little coffee shop to go and grab a quick bite with friends and/or family. Everything I have had so far has been delicious so no complaints on the food or drink. It is 4 stars just due to the lack of variety, my suggestion would be to make the paninnis/sandwich to order and allow the customer to choose the ingredients. That will slow the process down a bit but this isn't fast food it a relaxing quick bite.

I love The Way. The staff are always friendly and the atmosphere is lovely. The decor and interior is beautiful. A massive old fireplace sits near the back and old mismatched chairs, tables and benches fill the seating area. The food and drink selection is great. I would say say there is something for everyone. I'm vegan and they do some amazing cakes. Always a pleasing experience sitting in here! Really good value for money compared to your high street coffee shops. Highly recommend.

A must when in Dunstable. Super staff and good priced food. Airey spacious back room. Please try it. You will be back and able to use the loyalty card

Updated 05/2022: the best place for coffee in Dunstable. One of the better places in Dunstable for a coffee/tea stop. Small menu options of sandwiches, soup of the day, and cakes. Give it a try.

I have only been here twice but I have to say its a really great place to meet it's got a cozy feel to the place ,you get a reward card so everytime you go in you get it stamped for your hot drinks.it does food but I hv not tried any.go and try ,you might find you have a new place to meet friends family or just to have a brew yourself.

What a gem to find in Dunstable. The young barista was charming and friendly. The coffee was delicious and with a choice of plant based milk. Only improvement would more vegan food options. I'll definitely be returning.

Our family had a lovely time here. The staff are very kind and helpful. They also made us feel very comfortable while maintaining a covid safe environment. The coffee was great as we're the home made cakes. Delicious! We'll be back when we can.

Perfect venue for a beverage, with or without a snack. Tasty lunches and good conversations are also on offer. This is my 'go-to' place at least twice a week.

Always fantastic friendly service. Really delicious coffee, and a nice selection of cakes and sandwiches. Warm and cosy with very tasteful decor. Attached to the church next door (Christ Church Dunstable). Used by all sorts of people - parents with young children, elderly, business meetings, shoppers...everyone is made to feel very welcome!

So glad the Way now listed in TA. Belongs to the adjoining church but this is a pleasant spot for a coffee and good cake selection. Stays open till 9.30pm on a Wednesday evening. After Lombardo my go to coffee place in Dunstable.
