Win Lee in South Norfolk

We had great food from here, very yummy. The only thing that annoyed me slightly was that we ordered prawn cocktails and there wasn’t any in my order/bag 😕.

New favourite takeaway! Great value for money! Delicious! And piping hot! What more could you want? Will definitely be our new regular!

Awful customer service. Ordered chicken satay on skewers. They gave us a different dish. When we called they said we could pay the difference to get the correct dish. Then they changed their mind when we got there. I regularly get takeaways there. Been going for years. Will never go back again

Ordered at 5:30pm for collection at 7pm. Turned up, paid. Waited 15 minutes, asked where our order is and they said it’s gonna be another 15 minutes. Not good making your customers wait an extra 15 minutes. I understand it can get busy but prioritising and taking more orders when you can’t get your previous orders that someone ordered 1.5 hours in advance is rubbish. Sorry.

The boys who take orders are brilliant

Despite being absolutely flat out on the night of the rugby World Cup final (the phone didn’t stop ringing the whole time and little room full to the brim) our meal was as good as ever. Everything cooked to perfection. Great takeaway that never disappoints. Highly recommend.

I like their Singapore Noodles and chicken in honey & lemon sauce. I don't know about the rest

Great food, ordered a wide range of dishes and they were delicious. Plenty of food for our party of 14, spent on or around £120 and had lots of leftovers.

Not local so always collect, I was recommended this place by a friend. Always friendly, really quick, prices are fair and best of all the food is superb and piping hot, even after a drive of 20 minutes plus! Literally can't fault them at all, would absolutely recommend 👌

Ordered a collection from the phone, the lady who answered was very rude and kept putting me on hold. When I arrived to collect food at time giving by the restaurant the food was ready 30 minutes later. The food was cold.

Very nice food to takeout with very friendly and helpful staff and assistants! Loved the chips, sweet and sour chicken balls and special fried rice. One of the best places for a Chinese or a takeaway in general.

The only Chinese I know of that has consistency with there food, alway good. I happily visit and eat from this take away once a week maybe and every time I’m a happy eater. I fact, talking about it, yep I’ll have a Chinese tonight me thinks. Ps. They love change!

DONT GO ALWAYS ORDERED FROM HERE SINCE Living in village This evening the order was uneatable the chicken balls dry and batter like rubber and dough Chips really dry Bbq sauce was watery Chow mein was ok but not any taster really Called to complain the owner was not helpful was rude The young boy on reception also rude Was said to bring all food back to get refund which I said I was unable to do and offered to send pictures or someone to collect but told not there problem Not happy

The food was very nice, as always, But unfortunately the young lad answering the phone was rude to me, I called to let them know one of the dishes was wrong, I order beef but got pork, i understand this can happen but I do not expect to be spoken to in the manner I was spoken to.

Orderd at 5pm for 7.15pm collection and still had to wait an hour for our food. Last time

Our first takeaway today… an amazing eleven dish selection for seven of us as a birthday treat. Wow, such gorgeous fresh ingredients, delicious sauces (light and not gloopy), and tender succulent meats. Generous portions with perfectly cooked chunky tasty veg. Thank you for a fabulously indulgent meal which made our day.

Can't fault the quality of the food. Be warned it gets very busy Saturday nights after the month so usually have to wait hour or so (even after ring & collect). Worth the wait.

Tonight's takeaway was the best ever from the wonderful Win Lee. Although it's a Saturday night and as always very busy we only waited 30 mins. Food was hot and tasty, a big👍.

One of the best Chinese meals we've had in a long time. Food was super fresh and hot upon arrival and delivery was extremely prompt for a Saturday night! Will definitely be recommending to friends, Win Lee is now firmly my 'go to' take away.

I didn't rate this place asked for Singapore vermicelli noodles she said they didn't do them as they were too much trouble to cook! Bit like going in a fish and chip shop and being told the fish is too much trouble to fry. Had to have the Singapore noodles instead and they weren't good probably worst I've had.

Great food but be prepared to wait

Food is top drawer and staff are friendly. Very disorganised when busy though! Ordered food at 5pm and told to collect at 7:30. Arrived at 7:25 and was stood outside in the cold until 8:15 waiting for food.

Food is good but had a 30 min wait in shop for food I had ordered 3hrs before. Unacceptable,

It's just ok, they are disorganised when busy, don't rely on their collection times, I had to wait an extra 35mins stood outside, so take a a good coat. I wouldn't rush back but it seems popular.

By far the best Chinese I have had in Norfolk. Fresh ingredients used, the meat is not soggy and boiled like the rest. Highly recommend and worth travelling for. I live 11 miles away and it’s worth it. The serving lady is super friendly and serves you with a smile which bumps this review up to a 5 star.

As always the food was absolutely fantastic. We ordered about £40 worth and asked for it to be ready in an hours time. I called to say can we pick it up a little earlier and they had no issues. Always polite staff, and always very good quality takeaway grub.

Great food one of the best Chinese takeaway around

Thought long and hard about picking up a Chinese from other take away options in the City on the way home to Poringland. Choose to stick with what we know, and as usual, we were not let down. Shhh, don't tell everyone, but we think this is the best Chinese around, and we are never let down in terms of quality of food or the service provided. Keep up the good work.

ALL Vegetarians beware. They put chicken in my vegetable dish. Yeukk.! No vegetarian proteins here. They used to do soya meat substitute but no longer. No tofu and no intention of using any.

The best Chinese I've had for years, beautiful succulent chicken balls with a decent crispy batter, moreish thick sweet and sour sauce ( none of that awful watery stuff with carrots in it?) and my favourite roast pork fried rice, absolutely delicious!

Food is great and great for those on a limited budget. It is normally ready for pickup within 30 mins and the chips are great! The egg fried rice and spring rolls make the perfect combo as they are so flavoursome especially with the sweet and sour sauce.

Lucky place, Poringland, to have an excellent value Chinese takeaway that reliably turns out really good food. Set meals are massive, and every dish I've tried has been hot, delicious and nicely presented. Order in advance to minimise waiting time; the food is almost always ready and waiting for you.

Love Win Lee, the best Chinese takeaway in our area by far. The menu choice is quite extensive and the food quality has always been top notch. Their staff are also very friendly. This place does get very busy at peak times e.g. Fri and Saturday early evenings so it is worth ordering for a collection via the phone.
