Great Chinese, beef in black bean amazing, only downside is personal preference, roast duck Chinese style found duck more fatty than prefer, like it more crispy. One of best Chinese's had in a while

It's a takeaway. May deliver don't know. A good takeaway. My first time but mate has been several times (and has same each time!) Anyway, decided to have shared starter of spring rolls and some ribs. BBQ source or OK can't recall. Then both had sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style. So my local gives 4 little spring rolls. Here it was 2 BIG ones, like Chop Suey rolls. Then the Ribs were substantial ! By this point I was full! Then, the main was plenty of chicken. Sometimes (my local) it's lots of peppers, onions etc and then meat. Here it was the opposite, stacks of chicken, with the veg etc. I couldn't eat it all after the starters. Somehow my mate did. Little comment on price as this occasion I didn't pay. Don't think was OTT. Also, was Monday . Lots of Chinese closed Monday

I have used this place twice now and both times, the food has been lovely, fresh and hot, great quality chicken, lovely flavours. Really happy to make this my new local as much better than the one nearer to me in Horning. Would be fab if in future they started doing delivery's.

Big queen over this side of the road despite much nicer looking fishy literally facing it with no queen, makes sense the locals know best right? But the tiny portion of chips was mediocre at best and the pukka pie was disappointing, weird town with weird staff in all the establishments wouldn't pay cash to come here on my holiday like all the skanky cheapos who do so!

This is one of the best takeaways I've had, I come to wroxham frequently although I don't live here, but the golden fish is always a place I will go to get my takeaway the food and service i have received is fantastic, tasty fresh and consistently delivers high standards. I would thoroughly reccomend to anyone after a Chinese takeaway you won't be disappointed.

Got told they were out of noodles then it would be an extra 20mins. Gave me and my friend severe food poisoning. Personally I'll never go back. Edit: the review below, maria, is my friend who also got food poisoning, and they are trying to blame us instead of their issues! Me and a friend got food here 2 days ago I found it really tasty at the time but today we are both feeling really unwell and she has been sick. Edit to clarify, the food was bought and eaten promptly on Monday evening and I became sick Wednesday morning so well within the window of 48 hours since consumption. We did not share any other food that day. We have not been exposed to any sick bugs and I am still on Friday suffering with hot and chills so let me rephrase it was food poisoning and it was not as mild as I first implied I was simply being polite about it

The food was so lovely. It was very fresh and full of meat. The spice was the right amount of heat and the service was great. An all round wonderful experience. Thank you!

Away on holiday and wasn’t much choice in the Chinese sector, but this was absolutely gorgeous, and very friendly owners, staff.

Lovely food, ready on time. 😃. We're lucky to have it as our local that we can walk to. If you're picking up in the car then park in either Roys carpark or the one the other side of the Bridge as you can't park on the road outside.

I've tried the Chinese food here a couple of times now and it is fantastic ! Great flavours and good value for money.

Absolutely superb! The rib meat just fell off the bone and the main courses of chicken and black bean sauce and the special prawn dish were delicious. Good size portions and great service. Look forward to being back in the area to try something different.

Always rate this Chinese take away highly, they are always accommodating to our awkward order, different sauces/no sauce etc, always polite on the phone and when collecting, and the food is delicious! Definitely worth a try

Lovely tasty Chinese Take Away.

I got a takeaway from here tonight! Was very disappointed :( Haven’t been here for a long time but got a Chinese tonight as a treat. Chicken balls were soggy and tasted of chilli and the shredded beef was over cooked. Won’t be going back again.

Best Chinese take away I’ve ever had, staff were lovely and accommodating to our requests for some of the foods. Chicken was beautiful and had so much flavour. Everything was cooked perfectly and nothing greasy at all. Would recommend this place 10 times over. So worth it🤍

Really happy with tonight’s order. Haven’t been here for a good year…I had sweet & sour chicken Cantonese style, Singapore chow mein no sea food, chips, curry sauce and rice, and got a free prawn crackers with the order. Really nice can’t fault, chicken was fresh ( no chewy elastic band chicken).. worth every penny! I will for sure, be returning… I had Chinese from horning last week and was really disappointed, the golden fish is the place to go! 5 stars from me 😁

Had a really nice takeaway meal on Thursday. Lady who took the order was welcoming and engaging. Everything looked clean and the food fresh.

Tried the new chicken cheese roll and they were absolutely delicious! They tasted just like the ones we always get at home. The satay chicken and special fried rice were also lovely. Would definitely recommend.

Great food, quick service, good prices

This was recommended on trip advisor as being the best chippy in the area. I cannot comment as after waiting for 20 mins we were told that they weren't serving the chippy menu only the Chinese take out menu. I checked around and there was no posters letting us know this, I'm unsure why the staff didn't inform us sooner. Fortunately we went to the chippy next door and had a lovely meal. I like Chinese take out but was informed there was a wait of 40 mins

Our first time at this chinese.. we have to say, it was by far one of the best we've tasted. There was plenty, piping hot, the chips were so crispy and fluffy on the inside.. couldn't fault it.. 🙂

The best Chinese food in the area. Quality ingredients and cooked brilliantly. Will take a card payment over the telephone too, essential for lockdown and the 21st Century. Have had a home delivery and a collection meal now and very happy to discover these guys.

I think I chose the right chinese takeaway to order from, while in Stalham down the road. They leave the 1/4 aromatic duck in one piece, so it doesn't turn to dog food on your way home. All very tasty

Fantastic food & service and considering they specialise in Chinese cuisine they’re chips are the best in town! The only negative is, they don’t deliver but that in itself brings positives, prices stay reasonable, my bank account stays happy as does my waistline. Keep up the good work guys!

Awful service. Asked for a portion of chips and a plain chow mein. Experienced 4 customers who had arrived later than I, with larger parties than I, receive their orders. This happened over a 15 minute period. When confronted about my order the server said it would be a further 5 minutes. Awful service, awful communication, went across the road to get some chips instead. Much better.

It’s a Chinese cuisine take away not a fish n chip shop so forget the nonsensical feedback on a few petty reviews in peak holiday season! Freshly made and always with a bit of fun and banter. Lovely people who take the time to get to know their customers properly!

Favourite Chinese takeaway. Great flavours, consistent quality, good portions. Downside to it being so good is sometimes you have a long wait for your food, but I'd be more worried if it was empty and food came out too quick.

I used to always use Golden Fish for take away in Wroxham, but unfortunately it’s changed hands and has gone downhill considerably. Prices are noticeably higher, food is a lesser quality and was cold by the time I got home (10 minuet drive). The staff are also very abrupt and not what I’d come to know of the previous owners. I shan’t be using Golden Fish again.

I would definitely never go here again. The food was so salty we were drinking water all night. We ordered our meals and about 15 minutes later my husband and daughter went back to the boat whilst I waited. I thought I would only be about another 10 minutes but it took another 45 minutes to get the meal.

Good take away. Had chinese meal and wad very good. Also amazing that person serving was guitarist with the brother Lee's which took me back to 70s and 80s seeing them live and on generation game.

Best takeaway I have ever been to. The portions are huge, the prices are so reasonable and the food tastes amazing. The lady inside is always so polite and lovely. Would absolutely recommend this to everyone.

Batter on our fish was too thick and raw, fish was nice though. Chips were OK, but prawn crackers were gross!!

Excellent service great food and portion size also chicken balls are huge and all chicken not a big battered ball with a marble size piece of chicken rattling around inside will be going again on our next visit

Delicious vegetarian choices, especially the tofu with Szechuan sauce. One of the best Chinese's I've had!

Been going here since i was very little and so did my mum and her family when they first moved up here when she was 16. I live in Norwich now and i still go here as nothing compares. Best Chinese
