First of all the food was amazing, me and my family decided to take a walk down Southend seafront and saw this place stand out over everywhere else, as soon as we walked in we were greeted nicely by a man, I think his name was Johnny and I didn’t catch the other boys name, he had a perm, they were constantly smiling even when they seemed busy, we ordered 6 or 7 different meals and they all came out amazingly! The Cod and chips were the best I’ve ever tasted and I’ve eaten down the seafront quite a few times, me and my family were not disappointed! Both workers were brilliant the whole time we were there even when they were rushed off their feet, it just seemed like all they wanted to do was please their guests! Thankyou Las Vegas Grill! We will be back, 5 stars from me!
I went on my own and ordered their special OAP dinner. I was served with my tea and a single slice of bread. Afterwards I waited for nearly 45 mins and people who came after me were served but noting for me. When I complained all the staff were busy talking loudly and just looked at each others faces before I walked out. The new owners are useless and terrible.
This weekend we returned to Southwold & the first place we visited, was gun hill. Some of our extended family also met us, for their first visit to Southwold. We’d booked the beach hut , next to the cafe & all settled in. Many hours later, many ice creams later & several coffees later we left the beach. As always gun hill delivered, great service, excellent choice & very reasonably priced. If you want somewhere to chill & watch the world go by, this will be the place for you
We visited as a family group of 7 including 2 young kids, and the staff were really helpful. The Thai food was probably the best since being in Thailand. Also they had a wider selection of vegetarian mains than most, which is great. The hosts Ananta and Sergio were very hospitable and friendly ( as were the locals in the pub) , we had a chat long after. Even though we live 20 miles away, we will be back. 😃
We went this evening for Tapas Tuesday (we’ve been a few times before) The place was pretty busy as they’d had lots of walk ins however this did not faze the staff at all! Services was impeccable as always and food was amazing. Well done James, Izzy, Michael and Ethan you all worked so hard this evening! (we promise to book next time 😊)
Just had a fantastic meal with my family as a belated mother's day treat. Service was first class & atmosphere was cordial, it was during the day so no children which made it more relaxing. Would recommend the lasagne it was amazing.
I've wanted to try this restaurant for a long time, and although I haven't gotten to the restaurant proper, I had beers with a friend on their outside tables on one of the first warmish nights of the year, and it was a lovely experience. The outside tables are great for some mates catching up, and the beers are really good: carefully chosen craft beers from Poland, served just right. Very friendly wait staff, too!
Great all round and very accommodating. We were meeting friends who were running nearly an hour late and after some scratching of heads they managed to hold our table. The wait was well worth while and very good food all round. Thank you.
