Swan at Fincham in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

There aren't many options in Fincham. It's a quiet village... or at least that's the way it seems. So, this is a village pub. Lovely staff, very friendly. Atmosphere is that of a local Village pub... though not the kind that all the locals put their pint down and fall silent as you, the stranger, walk in. Food is quintessentially English pub, along with Thai street options. Funny old mix. But what was served up (Phad Thai) was really good! Food fastish for a busy fathers day. Service came with a smile... So, in a round about way... if you are passing through, stop and grab a bite

Lovely little find, chicken was a little squeaky but over all was lovely. Would definitely recommend. Seemed to be a lovely little place for the locals.

Belated father's day meal. We had the set meal for four, which would probably have fed six! We took quite a bit home in take away containers. Food was exceptional and the service was friendly and efficient. Nice quiet setting. Thoroughly recommend

Prices gone up, quantity gone down, used to depend about £35 for a meal and a drink couple of years back, now same costs about £55

Decent Thai food in a traditional pub setting, with friendly service and very reasonable prices 👍🏻 We had the mixed starters for 2 (all very tasty), a Pad Thai (okay), a Penang beef (flavoursome, if a little sauce-heavy) and egg fried rice (a good example of the dish). This with a pint of diet coke and a pint of Aspall's cider was £46 👍🏻

Had a lovely meal served by a really helpful and friendly person (don't want to get it wrong!!). What totally confused me was the old English tea room decor. Surely it was once a pub? Freaked me out a bit.

I'm new to and really like their Thai food and my wife, their English meals. Always good quality ingredients, both styles are always very tasty. Wine (splendid Malbec recently) and beer are good. Friendly and considerate staff, nice atmosphere and prices are reasonable. Strongly recommend The Swan.

Decided to try the Thai food on a whim and we were not disappointed. My husband is vegetarian and I'm not, but both had amazing dishes. Really nice hidden treasure!

Thai food was just ok. Stir fry seemed like just made from frozen vegetables with very little flavours. I love Thai food, and I found it underwhelming. The service was great.

Called in to the Swan on our way home. My husband had the pie and I had the roast Beef. Very nice indeed. We had previously been here for Thai which is superb.

Great Thai food with excellent flavours. Also available is an extensive pub food menu for those who don't want to try Thai cuisine. All food is reasonably priced. A good selection of beers/ales etc.

Lovely pub and friendly owners. Popped in for a couple of drinks last night and they kindly made sandwiches for us despite it being after food service time, and allowed us to stay overnight in the pub car park in our motorhome. Looking forward to another visit during normal food service hours to try the home cooked Thai food.

The food was excellent as usual the Sophie served and was very efficient in fact all the people who are a lovely family give good service if you want authentic Thai food you can't get any better.

The food is good we have been going for years, I went for a collection today and the price was shocking. I won't be going back until they price the food realistically. The prices online don't match the current price. It was almost double!!

Driven past 100's of time and never gave it a 2nd look. Had some friends come to visit and stay locally and we decided to have a meal (as was a walk from thier accomodation). Totally blown away by the thai food. The food is the best food any of us had tasted in a very long time. What a gem of a place. Service awesome also. Will be back to eat in and pick up a takeaway 100%.

What a wonderful surprise this restaurant was. It looks very normal inside but the food selection and quality are extremely good. I was completely full of great food by the time I left, and is certainly recommended.

My wife described it as ish, food average same for drinks. Why do Thai restaurants in this area use tagliatelle instead off tradition Thai noodles.

Much less impressed than I'd hoped for. Food is OK but staff not very welcoming. They seem to take a snotty view of anything other than positive reviews though. That's a shame given how significant reviews are to modern folks looking for good things.

I have past that pub many times, but never stopped until today. I was passing and was hungry and thirsty. So stopped and had a great pint of Wherry, and a Thai meal. Great food, good beer and lovely service. Must force my self to stop there again. Even had a small decking area which was very sunny out the back as well.

We’re staying nearby and saw the sign at the front advertising Thai food. Great! We planned a visit. But first, we checked their hygiene rating in our app. Disgusted to see they had a 1/5 awarded in March 2021. Now you know why the hygiene sticker isn’t on display. Crazy they aren’t practicing good food standards in a small village. Lift your game!

First time in here staff are so friendly and welcoming. Food was beautiful will definitely be returning.

Had a lovely Meal there on Thursday evening, Staff very friendly. I had Thai fish cakes for starter and a lovely Green thai curry for main was absolutely delicious. Thank you all at the Swan.

Old English Pub serving a wonderful selection of English and Thai food, called in and enjoyed the food so much I returned 2days later for another delicious Thai meal, great atmosphere huge choice and good value. I'll be calling again....very soon!

Quaint place, bit of a wait when we arrived, very limited all you can eat menu, but what we did have was nice.

Hearty pub grub with *zero* atmosphere. Was lovely to get a bit of peace and quiet, but the "local" vibe felt a little League of Gentlemen. Would go back again, if I had to.
