Sauce runny you could only taste vinegar. Food dripping of oil every bite was just oil, salt and paper chips no vegetable and just some sprinkle of salt and pepper. Wouldn’t order again don’t let the good review fool you like it did me!
Very poor experience.
Unable to rate food, as none consumed.
Waitress did not appear to have a fundamental grasp of hygiene, habitually wiping her nose with her fingers: infection risk.
I left after 20 minutes of arriving having not being served or spoken to. The staff did not seem particularly interested.
My recommendation: avoid.
food was great and the service was amazing, sara was very friendly while making our drinks and mia was checking up on us making sure we were having a good time with our food and drinks :) would definitely reccomend for a chill night with drinks and games
Love this place! The food is amazing, nothing on the menu is ordinary even the roasts. Best pub roast dinner we've ever had, special mention to the belly pork and love the presentation of the veggie sides. Only downside, mocktails were a little pricey. Looking forward to an excuse to come again ☺️
Absolute rip off £5 for small chips and gravy definitely not worth the money on ordering was told they would bring it to our table. had to remind them about our order think that they had forgotten. Please go elsewhere if you are in Skegness. I gave it a one star because I could not give this establishment any lower on this site .
Second time at the Greyhound and enjoyed our stay. Room was spotless and comfortable. Some nice touches such as real milk in a vacuum flask for the room drinks rather than the plastic things. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The evening meals were very good and even a really good selection of real ale some from very local breweries when I was there.
So I'm originally from this town and live away now _ I travelled to see my mother since my Father recently passed away .
I came with my car and a ( very respectable) camper trailer as I was on my way to a different destination.
Remembering growing up just around the corner and even watching this establishment being built i thought I'd try to see some old school friends and have some food and a couple of drinks before I continued with my journey early the next morning.
I was met with broken down cars with the engines hanging out and bits of cars looking like a scrap yard.
Young kids hanging around like a ghetto as if on drugs- kicking footballs at my car and trying to intimidate me.
Shortly after I was approached by about 6 or 7 people- 3 of them in the bars t- shirt asking in an extremely aggressive way what my plans were of the night .
I asked why they came up so aggressive with so many people when all I intended to do was go for a meal , have a couple of drinks - try to catch up with some ole school friends-
They obviously wasn't interested with this and was more concerned with muscling me out and working on intimidating me.
STAY WELL CLEAR ...!!!
We booked a table for 28 people for Eid. The most busiest day and the staff managed to accommodate our size family. The food was so delicious despite everyone ordering individual meals the food came out promptly, was seasoned and presented really well. The staff were on hand to help and so friendly. We had a really good experience here this was our second Eid eating here, but this time we had a larger group. 100% recommend.
