New Beijing Garden Chinese takeaway in Nottingham

Sauce runny you could only taste vinegar. Food dripping of oil every bite was just oil, salt and paper chips no vegetable and just some sprinkle of salt and pepper. Wouldn’t order again don’t let the good review fool you like it did me!

I Ordered the Salt n pepper chicken and chips box, Crispy Shredded beef in Cantonese style and the egg fried rice it was all so good! flavour wise and it tastes fresh not greasey which some Chinese takeaways can have. Friendly staff and quick service 10/10

It wasn’t great, it wasn’t bad either. It was simply meh. One thing I do like tho is the added onions in the chicken skewers on one side so the sticks don’t get messy in the sauce

Food is really nice - prawn crackers are thin and really tasty, arrived hot, portions really big and delivery early which is impressive for a Friday evening (delivery driver was friendly too). Sweet and sour sauce was a bit on the sour side for me

If I could give no stars I would. Just received my order awful food, prawn toast is burnt, noodles are mushy and chicken and mushroom fried rice 99% mushrooms bland and tasteless. To top it all off when I rang the restaurant (use that word loosely) she informed me that the driver is too busy to come and collect it I will need to bring the food back to the restaurant what a joke! Will never order from here again avoid at all costs!!!

Didn't get my salt pepper chips

By far the best Chinese I’ve ever eaten. I’m from down south and my partner lives in Nottingham, said I should try this place and hands down it is fantastic. The salt and pepper chicken is incredible, the ribs are delicious. And the people are great, we ordered just as they closed and we rung up and the lovely lady said she would reopen just to make our food. Lovely place, delicious food.

Curry Sause was very sweet. satay skewers were awful definitely will not order again

Nicest food I have had in a while

Salt and pepper chicken was really bad quality, full of blood vessels, tasty like Chinese 5 spice seasoning rather than actual salt and pepper seasoning. Curry sauce tasting kind of sweet?

Been ordering here for years, never had any problems with the food until a year ago when had guest over and food came spilled in the pots and just eat issues a refund, hasn’t accepted an order on just eat ever since real shame :(

Salt and pepper was slightly chicken was bland the salt and pepper chips was amazing, the spare ribs the bbq sauce wasn’t nice, the special chow main just pure noodles and loads of bean sprouts had about 3 pieces of chicken overall rating = edible

Good portions. The lady who takes your order is lovely. I think it’s her who owns the place. Been going here for over a decade. Food tastes great. Can be a little salty sometimes but I think that’s the case for a lot of takeaway dishes. One of the places I know I can get a good deal. But you have to BUY THROUGH THEM, NOT THE DELIVERY APPS! 👍🏽

Chow mein was nice but everything else very poor. Crispy beef was soggy and slimey, S&S chicken was runny and tasted like water. Won’t order again.

Took an hr and half to arrive. Ordered the munchy box which was pretty sparse, and soggy probally would og been better value for money ordering everything separately. Noodles were incredibly greasy and dripping with oil, everything else was very mediocre. Everything lacked in flavour and seasoning, it was the blandest Chinese I believe I have had which was disappointing

Usually love this restaurant but the salt and pepper box just tasted like a whole bottle of salt was poured over everything so was not enjoyable at all

Excellent Chinese, been using for around 4 years now, food is always hot on arrival, never had any issues whats so ever, keep up the work Grace.

Extremely pleased with my food and will definitely be ordering again. The only bad thing I can say is sweet and sour sauce was Extremely runny but it had a great taste and the chicken and sweetcorn soup could of done with a little bit of salt. But all in all the best Chinese I've had in a long time.

Once you’ve placed your order you’re given a time. You don’t mind waiting if your food is going to be worth waiting for for. So disappointed on the quality of the food. They obviously think of quantity not quality. And when you pay good money for their specialty products. You expect it to be Hot and it was very greasy. It was Luke warm. It’s not that we live miles away. Won’t be returning to this place again. The driver even apologised for being late. And then had missed one of the things off the order. When called back to the shop. They said must be left in his car. Someone else with in minute’s brought that item. So cannot really see why the length of time is taken to deliver food anyway! But… first impressions is the last….

First impressions will be the last. Food was Luke warm. And had house special chow Main, no different to a normal one. Nothing special about it. Rice very greasy. When you pay a good amount for food. You expect it to be hot. And expect good food. And I like quality over quantity. And this I didn’t get. Won’t be returning!

Lovely food, great sized portions!

Food was good, arrived hot and fresh, delivery driver was friendly. Good portions for the price etc. The egg fried rice seemed to be just boiled rice with egg mixed in in look and taste which was a bit disappointing. Sweet and sour chicken balls were good, and there was a lot of them.

Best Chinese takeaway in Nottingham and probably Britain too. Is the portion sizes equal to the amount you pay? No, you get way more for your money. Is the food cooked to a high standard? Yes Is the customer service excellent? Yes Is the delivery times reasonable? Yes I eat alot!!! Most of the time I have to order a little more from restaurants. I ordered more here but now I have food to last me at least three days.. Incredible service. :-D

Have been going to this place for 10+ years. The food is always great by far the best takeaway around. The taste is always right and you can tell its fresh. Amazing service always too! If you are thinking of ordering here, go for it!

Really enjoyed the rice, Thought the Mixed Meat Curry had way to many onions in though.

We ordered 4 spring rolls, mixed curry, crispy beef, egg fried rice and chow mein with beansprouts. Given an ETA when ordering and it arrived when they said. Really good food and plenty of it.

Not for me, giving a 4 star as the food seems great but the taste just isn't me. Chicken fried rice is too plain as in It doesn't get cooked with soy sauce or anything like most takeaway place. Also I ordered curry sauce and again not bad just not me it is very sweet which is not curry sauce to me. Food seems good quality. Chips were perfect, prawn crackers are excellent service is amazing and speed it great too.
