This is a great place to have fun, dancing & meet similar minded people. Bar staff are very nice, door staff very professional. A good night out!

Came here for a friend's birthday, the drinks took ages I ordered on the app and it took 40 minutes after we actually found our server who took the food menu and did them herself despite a guy looking at the online orders 15 mins before her it wasn't busy at all really nit an enjoyable experience

Really nice vibe at this place! Stopped in for some food & 2-4-1 cocktails before shows - friendly staff, nice food, decent veggie options, what's not to like! Very close to the theatres & Rock City etc.

The revolucio'n de Cuba is truly an amazing venue/bar / dining experience with a Latin feel & Latin inspired drinks & menu , set in a rustic antique building that originates from around the Georgian era . The revolucio'ns interior is very reminiscent of a pre 1960s Cuban night spot & features many vintage advertising items for the range of classic rums & spirits from the Cuban stable , plus some retro photos & pictures of Cuba's people & it's heroes . The decor is an eclectic mix of antique & Latin & many of the buildings arches , doors & masonry have been left as was and they are over 120 years old plus . The mix works & the atmosphere is relaxing rustic & romantic . The staff were very polite upon my visit & for the early doors slot , table service was included . The revolucio'n has a very good selection of speciality rums & spirits , plus a good cocktail menu & a good selection of premium draft beers & continental lagers all reasonably priced for a city centre venue . The revolucio'n has a good selection of table snacks & meals that are Cuban & Latin inspired & are also at reasonable cost , the revolucio'n does have a early doors happy hour & a two cocktails for £10 which makes it an excellent choice for the more adventurous drinkers who appreciate value for money & quality drinks in quality surroundings . The revolucio'n has probably the best fully loaded bar I have seen in the Nottingham area & it really is a little bit of Cuba from days gone bye right here in Nottingham ! Without the long flight ! . So if you like a bit of Latin spirit in your glass I'm sure the revolucio'n may well fill your spirit & soul with its totally unique atmosphere ! . RECOMMEND DRINK Cuba libre of course ! .

My food was good. My daughter's food was good. The other 3 adult guests were a little less impressed, but not unhappy with theirs. My recommendation is to have the tapas triple and Include the nachos. Would be 4 star, but if you want to charge £10 for a single cocktail it had better be damn good, and it was very average so you only get 3.

I would give less than 1 star if I could, no awareness of current offers, terrible bar staff and even a manager who does not seem to care less about allergies. Very concerning.

We are here for our twin friend's birthday, the food was fab and came out all together too. It will be two of us birthdays in March we will book again for the 16th. The cocktails were pretty damn good same for the service too. 🍹🥃🥃💪

I enjoyed some tapas for lunch, it was very quiet as this was during the week so it was a nice and relaxing atmosphere. The portion sizes of the tapas dishes I had selected were generous and very tasty. The cocktails can be expensive but then happy hour arrived so it was 2 for 1 which was a bonus.

Works christmas party. Great music and atmosphere. Food was cold apart from the dessert. Some of our party guests were not allowed in as the bouncers had asked them for ID which meant that all our team were eating at different times and not together. Waiting too long at the bar for drinks, bar staff kept serving other people. Not as well organised as I thought it would be considering the amount spent!!! Toilets were not cleaned 😔 or even checked by staff, tissue, glasses and liquid everywhere!! Not a place I would personally go too again!!

We had our Christmas party here, two days back. Food : Everyone including me (30 people approx) said it's rubbish. No taste, all show. Even the Brownie was very dry but Yes The Ice Cream served beside the brownie was awesome. Drinks : Were awesome as it should be. Environment: Was full with people so if U like crowded place then it was fun. Music: Supperrrbbb!!! The DJ was Brilliant!!

Came for Christmas work do. Really great evening. Lovely food. The slow cooked steak was amazing. And the chocolate brownie was just right. It took a while for starters to arrive, and it was over an hour before we were having our main meal. We were on the ground floor, and at times it was really loud, and I couldn't hear the people next to me. On the other hand, the music was good, a nice mixture of Cuban, Christmas and other music.

We had a pre-theatre meal on a Friday night and, even though we're a couple of oldies and didn’t particularly appreciate the loud music (!!), we loved the food. We shared five or six tapas which were delicious but, actually, turned out to be too much. I’m teetotal but my friend enjoyed a couple of cocktails. Revolución de Cuba is well situated for the Royal Centre which was one of the reasons we chose the place. We agreed that, because the food was so good, we’d definitely return although I’d perhaps prefer to go at lunchtime when, I suspect, the music is not as loud and it’d be easier to hold a conversation without having to shout.

We arrived for a late afternoon meal, we did not have a booking but the restaurant was fairly quiet. I liked the calming atmosphere and the decor felt authentic. However our issue lay with the young man with long hair serving us at the host stand, he was rude and rushed us through. After a few seconds sitting at our table he approached with a "what do you want", no pleasantries or even politeness. Fortunately, a young lady came over and half-served us too, she was a delight. We ordered the 5 tapas dishes, yet 3 were unavailable at that time; we ordered alternatives, but one of those was unavailable too! We ended up with some mediocre dishes. the pineapple tacos tasted like toilet cleaner but the beef pastries were the best. When our food was placed on our table the man thrusted the bill at us silently, then stuck out the card reader. If we were served by the girl the entire time it wouldve been a 4/5. Its a shame the servers attitude to how you are treated is a bingo. Not too bad on price- £40-£50 for 5 small plates and one beer

Great place for a drink, great atmosphere

Had a very sad experience today - very rude manageress - in the end we had our money back and came out I was sat at a table for twenty minutes whilst husband at the bar the manageress came over and said I had to move as the table was booked - there was no sign on the table no offer of moving to a different table - very rude and inexperienced stroppy attitude - went to the bar where husband getting served I said what had happened and said she was very rude and so he said could we have our money back and we would go elsewhere - manageress came again stroppy attitude - gave money back and we left. I used to love this place we hired it out for our daughters 21st and had a great atmosphere - terrible customer service today - went elsewhere but very sad that she let it down with attitude - if she had said I’m sorry could you move and found us another table then it wouldn’t have been a problem.

Please stay away if you're planning on eating here. The people working here are fantastic but the food is embarrassing at best, they should really take a good look at the menu, the vegan/veggie option is a complete joke, disgusting food.

Had afternoon tea as wanted a different afternoon tea and properly met the bill. Nice and just the right touch of spice. Great cocktails.

Had the best time for my friends birthday that we organised for a group of us. They were so accommodating for us and the dog (who turned up later). Even brought over a special treat for the birthday twins! Tori our waitress was the best waitress I've had in a long time, she was so friendly, helpful with the cocktails and patient while we decided on our orders. We all had the tapas and it was perfect, everyone loved the food. Thanks so much for a great evening. Would definitely like to come back again soon!

Me and my wife both had a day off so went for afternoon tapas and cocktails. The food was incredibly tasty and well presented. Cocktails list was extensive and we both loved every one we tried. And to top of that the staff were great, not just Nikita, but that was the one name we got, all were friendly, helpful and attentive, can't really ask for more. Thank you to you all. We'll be back soon.

Very hit and miss, the first time we came for the tapas the food was spectacular, however on this occasion the food was covered with salt, the onion rings were inedible and the patatas bravas was just salt, we have had the patatas bravas before on multiple occasions and it has been lovely however again inedible due to the amount of salt they have doused the food with

The only place I know that puts on a happy hour until 10pm with 2 for 1 cocktails that take an age to prepare, with only 1 bar staff. So if you just want a beer you wait 25 minutes.

Visited yesterday with my auntie & mum, food was absolutely amazing we shared the tapas & it exceeded my expectations, I’ve been to this place before for drinks and always loved the atmosphere, never disappoints, would definitely recommend. Lovely venue, the staff were so lovely and helpful. They catered really well to intolerances, I'm coeliac (gluten free) and dairy free and still had a huge choice of food which was absolutely delicious. Will definitely return. The cocktails were also lush!

Hot tapas menu is great, and the bar staff are accommodating to any preferences with your drinks. Atmosphere is great for girls night, love music is usually pretty good too. Ladies bathroom is a safe haven. Located close to a lot of similar venues with same vibe, right in the center of the city

Today I come back and I get a a spresso martini and a warm desperados, the waitress told me than was in the fridge and it was not his problem, well done the service is getting better!!! The waitress get our drinks from the our table, when they was full, they didn’t do nothing, I don’t recommend this place for the attitude of the bar manager when we ask for our issue. Then I was living the place and one of the stuff was coming with me to be sure I was leaving the place. I think they has been very rude. I don’t recommend this place. I show them the only thing I can do, and it is that the only thing I can do

I won a premium bottomless brunch on an Instagram competition. I took my partner and we had such an amazing time! Very friendly staff, always ready to take our next orders when needed. We enjoyed a chorizo hash and a spicy fried chicken burger. Myself being a coeliac, I felt as though staff catered for this very well and made me feel at ease. The drinks were gorgeous and we were served very promptly. Thank you!x

Fantastico.. Bravo.. Only complaint was that the live music finished far too early. Place was packed on graduation day but there was a fantastic atmosphere as students and parents celebrated. Service was pretty much faultless despite it being so busy. Tapas was first rate with ample portions. Cocktails were delicious and plentiful. Will visit other sites if possible but they'll have to go some to beat this experience. Just need to have one down here on the sunny Kent coast.

Me and my friends booked a bottomless brunch for the first here I really didn’t know what to expect as I’ve never done a bottomless brunch booking was so simple online got to preselect are food, so when we arrived are table was ready with drinks and nachos! Which was nice and then they brought out our main food we preordered and just wow! I had the halloumi hash and wow the flavours in my dish was Incredible it was so yummy! I’m already wanting to go back and buy it again! The staff was so on it making sure you had drinks and you was happy customer service was deffo 5* was really happy and will be retuning in the near future thank you!

Visited with my 10 week old baby to catch up with friends. Amazing food and atmosphere, and excellent service. Baby changing facilities located in the disabled toilet (just ask server for the key) which were clean and well maintained. Only downside was accessibility into the building initially, I think you can ask for a temporary ramp, we just carried my baby’s pram up the 3-4 steps to get in.

Booked 2 months in advance for a celebration dinner for graduation with my family for 20:30. We arrived and sat down and minutes after were told to leave as my brother was 17 and apparently only adults were allowed in the venue past 9. Nothing was mentioned when making the booking and we were left with nowhere to go. Extremely poor communication and poor handling of the situation.

Enjoyed my experience here. We celebrated our colleague's birthday here. Our whole group enjoyed the brunch so much. Drinks, food, vibes, ambiance, music, interior design, seating arrangement, table setting, balcony like area for smoking and vaping was excellent. The staff was very professional, friendly and attentive to our needs.

Lovely building and decor - SUPER friendly staff! Good selection of food. Tapas is great and superb value if you get a deal. Top of the list if pennies are tight.

We had a fantastic meal here. Came on a Thursday. The waiter and waitress were super friendly and helpful. They reminded us that it was two for one on cocktails if we ordered before seven o'clock. The cocktails were excellent! We ordered ten tapas dishes between four of us. The  variety and quality were fantastic. As the Tapas were also 2-4-1 on a Thursday, the price worked out very reasonable. We finished off with Churros con chocolate. The churros were freshly made and delicious. The live band playing classic latino music like Santana completed the whole experience, creating a lovely Latino ambience. To finish off, the waiter even came after us in the street to bring my glasses , which I'd left on the table! All in all, a great restaurant offering great deals, which I highly recommend.

To be honest revolution Cuba bar should be Latino salsa - Cuban music playing , music going more worse not for dancing really....that's only my opinion. Disrespected men touching you without knowing . Sorry

Amazing tapas, half prices on sundays and 2 for 10 quid cocktails! All the good was so good, see pictures, lottie and Ross were perfect servers.

A group of 15 of us visited for a Cocktail making masterclass! This was done in a bar upstairs. Ben & Josh were great hosts, talked us through it all, made us feel welcome and even put up with our Hen being half an hour late 🤣 Welcome drinks and shots were an added bonus! The drinks were super strong and we had such a laugh making them. We then went downstairs for more drinks and enjoyed some live music, which was great!! These make THE BEST Strawberry Daiquiri EVER!

Great atmosphere, food and cocktails that leave one a little squiffy (it's all down to personal preference, but I'd recommend a Dark & Stormy or a classic mojito). Shout out to Charlotte for quickly identifying out drinks hadn't arrived, as well as Zak and Tobias for quick food service. Not quite sure how recognition works for these guys but from what I understand Charlotte isn't eligible for the recognition scheme based on what someone said. Please please please rethink this, because of Charlotte fixing our issue without prompting we'll be back

We had our evening reception for our wedding here in the upstairs bar & it was brilliant. From the lovely management team during booking to the bar staff on the night it was the perfect end to an amazing day!

A great place to eat the food was lovely but it was very loud inside so don't go here if you want to talk over dinner.

Lovely staff and lively atmosphere

Bank Holiday weekend visit. Seated fairly quickly but we were near the air con unit and asked to be moved. The other tables were all reserved but the staff turned off the air con for us without being asked which was great. All the staff here are really friendly and helpful. We had 3 tapas each and several cocktails. All in all no complaints and we will definitely be back
