Server Demi was absolutely wonderful so kind and friendly couldn’t have asked for a better server especially with doing around 3 peoples jobs at once serving a table of 9 on a bottomless brunch a table of 4 and table of 3 all on bottomless brunch whilst 2 others were sat behind the bar not bothering to help lovely girl hope she gets the recognition she deserves

Shocking service and food quality. 3 out of the 9 meals came out 10 to 15 mins after everyone else as order taken down incorrectly. The adult crispy chicken burger and fries £11 was delivered on a childs plate and the bread was hard and dry and the chicken cold and overcooked. Very disappointing!

Great afternoon tea with cocktails

We went here for the Labrador pop up Cafe 11th Feb, I don't think the staff could have been any more accommodating than they were, despite lots of dogs running around and having fun they looked after everyone to make it a thoroughly enjoyable session. It was the first time we've done something like this but after having such a great time I'm sure we would do it again. Many thanks to the staff for their hard work in making it such a great experience.

Disastrous visit: accepted our booking for food then informed us the kitchen was closing earlier. A kind soul offered to stay late but then they didn't have the ingredients. We went to TGI Friday round the corner instead *** Update here in reply to the query from Duty manager Ellen, as I could not see another way to answer. This was Friday 29th December, table booked for 19:45 ***

Came here for Brunch on the Saturday just gone, waited for over 25minutes to be told we had to pay first before we could have the brunch. Another 15min for the first drink , took them ages to give us a bottle of prosecco. We got to order the food about 40mins in because no one came to us other than a guy making stupid jokes. When we ordered , I found a dark curly hair in my pizza which was under the cheese I pulled it out and then got blamed that it wasn't anyone in the kitchens and said I must of put it there, I was on the first slice and my friend spotted it. To be told I out it there is a joke and he went on to joke about it and say that I was lying. He offered another pizza which came hour and half later cold. I would highly not reccomend brunch here it is absolutely awful and the staff where not nice at all. To say nothing got really sorted about the hair was extremely bad ! I never got any part refunded to me at all. No apologies what so ever.

I stood at the bar for a long time and was unable to get a drink. I thought the clientele were a bit rough and yobbish, with lots of horrible girls pushing in front to get to the bar. Overall I didn't enjoy my experience here. (The other Revolution in Hockley is much nicer)

Didn't eat here but called in for a drink on our way past, not the first time we've been and definitely not the last. Need to make time to eat here as the food looks realy good. Make sure you book especially at the weekends.

Came here at 8.30 for some food, it was very quiet considering it was a friday night. We ordered our food and drinks at the bar, and ordered 2 pizzas and a portion of fries. 10 minutes later the waitress came over and told us they had run out of pizza so we said that’s fine and we would choose something else. We then went back upto the bar to change our order and was told the kitchen was shut. This was at 8.45 ish when they state the kitchen closes at 9. So we obviously asked for a refund for the pizzas which we got. We then sat and waited thinking the fries were still coming, we finished our drinks and realised they clearly wasn’t coming after 30 minutes. No apology, awful service🤷‍♀️

Booked 2 weeks ago in good faith for pre theatre dining for 2 adults & a s n child Happy to give card details to secure the booking & accept that there would be £10 per person taken from the card if we didn't turn up,, so £30, as we all understand that 'no shows' are not good for business. However, I've just had a call from them to offer 3.30pm instead of the original 5.15pm booking which is no good to us as the show starts at 7.30pm, therefore they have to cancel , 4 days notice,, not due to unforseen circumstances, nope, but due to a private booking, I asked why I was 'allowed to book? , this was apparently a booking who had booked an area of the restaurant, so my booking ( along with THEIR T & C ) was taken as at the time other areas of the restaurant were available, but now, this private booking have increased their numbers, so basically everyone else has to go! I wonder why I declined their offer of ' do you want me to see if there's availability at our Hockly restaurant??

Place was almost empty but food still took ages to arrive and then just 2 of the3 meals. 3rd meal took another 10 mins. Food was like warm and overcooked. Server totally uninterested when we gave feedback

Went in for a quick afternoon drink and nibbles. Tried Sharing menu. All items presented were delicious. More importantly, service was excellent. Megan served us and was very welcoming, friendly and attentive. Well done to the whole team. We'll definitely visit again when we are in town.

Lovely staff, great cocktails too!

Went for a cocktail yesterday which was made badly. We didn’t just dislike the taste it was a poorly made cocktail that tasted of water and gin. We took them back and we were pretty much told to lump it. Cocktails are expensive and it was a special occasion. Very poor service.

Revolution always used to be our top choice for a bottomless brunch and we come many times a year, but now we will be looking elsewhere. We had a 2 hour slot for bottomless brunch but spent the majority of the time looking at the bottom of our glasses. 3 cocktails in 2 hours when advertised as ‘bottomless’ is a disgrace. We all left stone-cold sober. We had this same problem before, an hour and a half slot, and half an hour in we had only had the Prosecco. It’s such a shame because we’ve had some great bottomless brunches here in the past but we don’t want to take the risk of coming again and leaving disappointed. I understand it was busy, but that shouldn’t be at the cost of the customers.

I had my hen party here yesterday and it was fantastic. The service was exemplary from my initial query for the booking through to the main event. We had a private booth which included a buffet and a welcome drink, the food was lovely and was all really good value for money! The staff were very attentive!

We had Revolution's version of Afternoon Tea as a Gift Experience and can highly recommend it! The food was great and made a nice change from the usual fayre of sandwiches and scones. The Cocktails and Shots were a pleasant surprise and much appreciated. We hope to be back again soon as full paying customers to try their own menu choices as they looked very appealing too.

Friday night. The music is loud. It's designed for young ones really. Im a advocate of cash. Card payment only but in this environment it's the only way to pay. The staff are fairly kind to older farts like me.

Great 'cost of living busting' meal deals at £2.99 or £4.99 with an alcoholic drink (limited drinks choice) 6 days a week, friendly helpful staff and the revolution atmosphere, spot on for a cheap midweek lunch.

Visited Saturday for a Bottomless Brunch was extremely busy and didn’t think at one point we were going to get served but along came Ben who was absolutely rushed off his feet but nothing was too much trouble . An absolute diamond ! Certainly had value for money . Well done Ben you deserve a bonus x

Loved my experience so much here. Celebrated my colleague's birthday. Our whole group enjoyed the whole brunch very much. Food, drinks, vibes, music, ambiance was epic. Staff was very nice, professional, friendly and very efficient.

Popped in for a quick drink before going to the theatre on Saturday. It was busy and fairly full outside, though we did manage to get a table.

ABSOLUTLE HYPOCROTS! me and my cousin (both 18) went in for a few cocktails we were served the first time however my cousin was not sevred the second they never asked for alternate forms of ID or went thorough the usual name postcard etc, they took her ID and ruined our night

£6.35 for a pint of peroni which tasted awful. Total rip off charging that much.

The wife and i visited here on the 3rd of april and gave it 4 stars as the sevice was not up to our standard! Today 12th of April we gave it ago again and this time a 5star rating as the young lady explained more about the service than the last time. This time my wife got a pot of tea where last time she was offered a glass of water with ice and nothing else. Well done to the young lady we will visit again.

We went to revolution in Nottingham yesterday for our first ever bottomless brunch. We had an absolutely incredible time as our server Zara helped us with recommendations and kept our drinks topped up the whole time. She really made our experience and it wouldn’t have been the same without her taking care of us. Thank you Zara!!!!

I had an afternoon tea for 2 with cocktail voucher. It was soooo disappointing! It isn’t worth the money at all. They bought out the main and desert board at the same time, the desert was like a cookie marshmallow thing that should be served warm and melty with ice cream. Well it was cold and all dried on to the dish with melted ice cream by the time we got to it. The ‘cheesecake’ was broken digestive biscuits (not even crusher up lol) in an espresso mug with stuff on top. I was super looking forward to this and saved it for a special occasion with my mum but it was just terrible, wouldn’t recommend..

Had bottomless brunch today...took half an hour to get a drink. Food was cold. Not impressed and will not return

My wife had to be picked up due to a extremely bad coeliac reaction to the apperently gluten free burger. If the burger and bun is gluten free how else can you explain this? Quite possibly the clueless waitress who had enormous fake nails cross contaminating all of the foods she was handling or lack of attention from the kitchen staff? Maybe it was the manager who tried to explain that cross contamination only occurs during cooking?? Absolutely no Idea how such little knowledge and understanding can be even achieved in this day and age. I have reported this to Nottingham County Councils EHO and will be follwing this up with head office. Horrendous.

Lovely cocktails and garlic bread 10/10

Came here for bottomless brunch last weekend and it was amazing! Made sure we had drinks, our food was great and they accommodated to our needs; also our server Ben was so lovely. Would definitely recommend for bottomless brunch and we will be back!

During the Ocean Bar crawl on Wednesday 25 January 2023, there were 24 of myself and my course mates that had a free cocktail on the Revs app. I just wanted to say thank you and mention how amazing the bartenders were with the orders because it was a lot of orders to take. Just wanted to say thank you to Ella, Daisy, Ellie and Ben, who were great with us. Thankyou!

Revolution used to be great but in my recent visits I’ve been so disappointed. I visited today with my friends for some cocktails and food. First of all, the app and website advertised 2 for 1 cocktails, we were told that wasn’t valid until the new year, why advertise something that’s not valid? I tried to order a drink, the barman didn’t seem very friendly and didn’t know about the drink I’d ordered, then said it was a mistake and they didn’t do it anymore. The food was freezing cold, 2 orders were wrong and had to be sent back and re-done, we weren’t given enough cutlery, then my friend found a hair in her pizza. My friend ordered a drink through the app that sat on the bar for 20 minutes before anyone bought it over. One person running around serving food and drinks and 2 people behind the bar on a Friday afternoon. There aren’t enough staff on for the amount of guests and always seems to be the case when we visit. To top the night off, my friend was physically sick a couple of hours after our visit, and I can’t help but wonder if it had something to do with the cold, below par food we were served. All in all a terrible experience, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Someone seriously needs to change something

Menu has vegetarian options but and this is a big but, none of the burgers were available and even a pizza claiming to be vegetarian contains Parmesan (confirmed by staff), so it isn’t vegetarian! Staff really didn’t know anything about the food so it gives zero confidence when ordering.

I had the turkey dinner. It was a small plate. It could have been twice as much.

Margherita pizza was awful. There was no basil (wouldn’t have ordered if I knew) so it was just unseasoned and there wasn’t enough cheese to make up some flavour. There was so so much tomato sauce on it which tasted like cheap (again unseasoned) tinned purée and it just ruined it. Enjoyed the sweet potato fries and the skinny fries with katsu sauce.

We went at lunch time , the food was fine when we eventually got it after a nearly 30 minutes wait after we ordered ,there definitely was not enough staff for the amount of customers .

Awful customer services. I was promised a full refund over 2 weeks ago (10 full working days, including bank holidays etc, going from the date emailed by head office). I’m going to be taking this further if it isn’t resolved. Chris treated us awfully when we were there and now Jessica and the rest of the team are not treating us fairly. Can take my money for utter rubbish instantly but force customers to wait WEEKS (and still not received) money back. Disgusting.

The calimari was off so I would not recommend the fish food. Other then that just a generic run of the mill pub style good.

Had an awful experience here today. Chris the “manager” was rude and extremely unhelpful. He said he had emailed me to help me on how to get a refund but has failed to do as promised. Luckily I have the evidence I need to escalate this further.

The service was very slow to start with, table of 11 people sat down for 30 minutes before any drinks were brought to the table. However, the service after that was really good and everyone enjoyed their food. I would go again.

19 people paid for bottomless brunch. Service was so slow that we got 1.5 drinks per person. Manager Chris said that this was our quota. Compete rip off. Terrible service.

It was a Saturday in July, our Chlo’s hen party was poppin, The place was understaffed and stressed but we were still boppin, Then ellie came from nowhere, an Angel in the night, Sunshine in human form she was elegant and bright, Grateful for our cocktails the day was onto a winner, All because of ellie, she’s certainly no beginner

The only thing that saves this place is the food...which may I add could of been ruined too after sitting under the heat lamp for 10 minutes. The staff are slow and look like they have lost the will to live. A smile is not hard work for anyone but the looks being thrown at other customers was not appropriate. Slow service, no cutlery provided, wasn't asked if I wanted anything else and wasn't even given so much as a napkin it asked if the food was ok. I watched other food sit ready for well over 15 mins yet no member of staff seemed to want to deliver it to the tables. And to top it off no toilet paper or hand sanitizer. I am absolutely underwhelmed and compared to the Southend branch some much needed improvement is required

Was asked by doorman to remove my cap when coming in which was fine by me and I run a bar in Notts and my place is the same but came in and there was around 4 others wearing caps and he said they were in b4 they started so refused to tell them to remove there’s but I still had to keep mine off 🤷‍♂️

Visited on a night out, clean and tidy and nicely laid out. Drinks are on the pricy side but are worth it. Toilets are clean which is always a positive! Staff were helpful and service was relaxed but not slow. Overall a great venue. Definitely worth a visit.

Tables pilled high with dirty pots and glasses. Music so loud couldn't hear the waitress or friends not good when you're out for good and a chat. Ordered drinks and they took 30 mins whilst others went to the bar and were served straightaway. Food took ages and when it arrived was luke warm. It had been sat on the service area a while. Food was good if it had been hot.

Food was lovely and great value.abundance of veggie options :) However waited 25 mins for two glasses of coke having ordered on the app. Plates never cleared with staff just wandering idly past dirty tables. Working in the hospitality industry, this gave me enormous anxiety and left me frustrated.

Staff quite rude Tuesday evening and it seemed like we were a bother got told 4 times we need this table, I understood the first time. Considering we were on a staff night out to relax and unwind as we work in the same environment, we will avoid in future

Uncomfortable stools could feel the metal frame under La derrière. Table wobbly. Asked a manager to move and told no more tables despite numerous free tables and people randomly sitting at them and clearly not booked. Paid for bottomless brunch and got 2 cocktails in 90 minutes, waitress did give us two at end to try and make up for it. Pizza was nice. Prosecco not nice
