Hukka Lounge in Nottingham

So, the drinks were nice, my friends got shisha, I didn't and they said it's nice as well. However, why the one star? Because if you enter this you are greeted with not only very rude people, but they take your ID and photograph it on the laptop. I get that they serve alcohol and they need to check for ID, check, but don't take a photo of it! This has always been a concern for me and my friends. So, my genuine advice for Hukka lounge: just do some training for your staff to be less rude and more professional, and make sure whoever is at the door to only check and not to take a photo of any IDs. Otherwise the place is good. Thanks

The food is average but the beverages have a variety of options. The atmosphere is splendid, a great place to kill time if you're a shisha lover.

I recently visited hukka lounge, and it was a deeply disappointing experience. While the bouncers were nice, the rest of the staff was terrible. They were entirely focused on giving their owners all the attention and ignored us until we waved or explicitly asked for service. The lounge advertises itself as a shisha lounge, but the shisha had no flavor at all. We tried two different flavors, and both tasted like nothing. On top of that, the drinks were ridiculously overpriced—£5.50 for a bottle of Corona is madness. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent shisha lounge experience.

Worst and most awkward shisha in Nottingham…..the security guards with the girl on reception very rude when I try to get there once instead of welcome me and respect me they told me to get here you have sped minimum 150 pounds wow just wow….I advise you to fired them to teach other service people rightly….you should win people heart not their money

Went there for the first time on a saturday evening for our weekend trip. After waiting for 15 minutes we got probably the worst table in the whole lounge (right beneath the music box on the corner of the lounge). Ordered drinks and hookah and wanted to watch a boxing match which was scheduled to air for at least 2-3 hours. After like an hour security came and told us to leave even though our drinks were still full, the reason being that we don't "order more" and it's a "busy day". Even though we would've ordered more after our drinks were finished. Never in my life did I get kicked out of a hookah lounge like that. Worst experience in Nottingham till now. Don't go there if you want to have a chill night out with your friends.

I have been to hukka lots of times - I went back after a long time and its recently been refurbished and looks nice but the food and service has gone downhill. The food was nice but the Portion size on some of the dishes is an absolute joke! Service was slow but may have been short staffed. Wait on the food was ridiculous.

Had my daughters birthday celebration at Hukka lounge yesterday. The staff and bouncers were so welcoming. They were really supportive with the last minute arrangements, the level of service was 5*. The food was dellicious ( I write that part on behalf of all who those attended :) The atmosphere was amazing. Thank you guys. you made my daughters birthday the best! See you soon!!!

The establishment doesn't particularly cater to middle-aged individuals , It seems to target a demographic aspiring with a notable emphasis on those interested in a thug persona, evident by the stringent ID check at the entrance. The female staff attire appears to be on the provocative side, and one staff member seemed physically uncomfortable. While the food and music were satisfactory, the customer service received a modest rating of 5/10, with a few staff members displaying signs of discontent. I find myself in a mixed opinion about the experience – it had both positive and negative aspects, leading me to a middle-of-the-road score. While I do smoke, I prefer not to do so around food. I believe having designated smoking areas would be a suitable solution. The abrupt 10-minute notice to leave was unexpected and somewhat odd, creating a rushed atmosphere. Overall, this experience leaves me hesitant about returning. Theres potential for significant improvement.

Travelled from out of town to visit this place on Friday and was disappointed, because the clothing was questioned and ID was requested which we never had as we wouldn't be carrying that with us to a shisha place. Also we were told we can stay there till 9pm bare in mind it was almost 8pm when we arrived, however we were told to go get ID first before going in. How coudl we when we travelled from out of town. We were actually shocked like these strict rules that existed in a shisha bar that too in Nottingham I mean come on if it was London then yes. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. These guys want posh people coming there. .

I would advise against endorsing this establishment. My wife and I visited with the intention of enjoying our time, but unfortunately, the service fell significantly short. Regrettably, the staff member declined our request to be seated at a chosen table, despite the available space. The place was empty!

Had the butter garlic king prawns. The prawns were cooked well and tasted great, especially with the lemon squeeze. The salad was fresh and the fries were just perfect. Atmosphere is brilliant too with friendly staff. Just try to be well dressed as they have some rules before they decide to let people in

I liked the place but felt like leaving before even entering. I understand security has to check for ID but please don’t touch me and don’t talk that way, it was very unwelcoming. Once inside the atmosphere was nice, staff was alright and a good variety in the menu.

Lovley atmosphere, slightly loud and unfortunately the guy with the hat was a little unfriendly. But I would return.

I rarely ever give a one star review. The reason this is one of them is because this was my experience of the place :- 1. They were rude to me at the entrance and did not let me in, and the reason given was because I came on a scooter and they wanted me to just dump it outside on the pavement and because I was wearing joggers. 2. They do not have any parking spaces. 3. The dress code is very restrictive. Dress revealing or go home???? 4. The place seems pretty boring and not really a lit space if you wanna just chill and get high and vibe. I wouldn't recommend going here. Lots of better places around Nottingham to explore. Happy vibin' 💟

Such a bad place never go there. The staff were so rude and intimidating. Never go again. They were so rude. Go if you want to get into a fight with one of them. Not worth the money. We were so respectful and calm never gave attitude. Worse place ever.
