Absolutely beautiful! Steak was cooked to perfection! (Med-rare) So tasty! Served with a generous amount of chips too! Great service from the staff! Always table checking. Will definitely be returning! Love it!

Ate here for the first time the other day and the service was top notch. Was shown to a table immediately and didn't have to wait/flag anyone down. Recommend the meat feast pizza but only feedback is that the loaded fries has too many sauces - fries with cheese and chilli is good enough, no need for guacamole + salsa + white sauce too Prices are also very reasonable

First time to the area, and what a find! A superb variety of food from pizza/calzones, pasta, curry to steaks..... and what a steak it was..... flame grilled to med-rare perfection, wonderfully seasoned, juicy and flavoursome. We have to say it is very probably one of or the best steaks we have had..... ever....!! If you are around here you have to give this place a go, from the amazingly pleasant front of house staff to the kitchen staff (engine room). A1, and highly recommended as loved every moment. I can't fault the quailty of food, really satisfying and value for money, staff are friendly and well trained. My only criticism is it feels like a very old place, really needs a fresh look/refurb, almost feels like a resturant from the 90s. Interior and presentation can transform them to another level!

Absolutely delicious. Food was lovely and served hot, with hearty portions for the price. Great value and good quality. Nice ambient music, not too loud like all these darn clubs. The staff were very friendly, even if they didn't check on the tables during the meal. Nothing a nod and some eye-contact can't fix! Overall a very good experience and would certainly go back

Food was really nice however we had to warm Food up once delivered I don't think it was due to the delivery guy as the restaurant was only 1 mile away from us, it was if the food was left to sit at restaurant for a while whilst waiting to be picked up plus our update of Food kept getting delayed infact 2hrs later than originally placed so on that note Food was OK but delivery very late Food cold on delivery and I almost forgot to mention our drinks was not delivered so overall will not be ordering from here again as this was our first time ordering from them and our last overall 2**

When we arrived it was very quiet which very nearly made us change our minds about eating here. We are so glad we stayed. Staff were lovely and service was spot on. The food 👀 wow absolutely amazing we had the platter for two everything was 10/10 the burger especially good would definitely recommend 🔥🔥🔥

Such a shame that this place has gone down hill since my last visit which was only a few weeks back. Used to eat here at least once or twice a month. Was my go to place for steaks especially the fillet. But having gone in today I won’t be returning. I ordered the fillet which is the most expensive steak they do it was like rubber and looked more like a thin wide sirloin with the fat trimmed off, I have ordered fillets many times at this restaurant and usually the fillet is perfect it’s a thicker smaller piece, very tender and melts in your mouth kinda texture definitely not like the brick that was served to me today. Seems like they have a new chef and waiters. I had a quiet word with the head waiter who didn’t seem interested in my complaint and responded with “we sell loads and everybody loves them” or something like that. If for any reason you do go and order the sizzler platter meal, the chips are super dry and the rice is over cooked and stuck on the bottom of the serving plate and rock hard. Best to avoid the prawns to, they were over cooked and had a funny taste. Anyways I paid the bill and left very disappointed and won’t be returning and nor will my family.

Simply our favourite grill in Notts, being HMC halal an added bounty. City centre location and parking on-site, too good for the value for a superb meal they serve.

We were in town for a comedian at the Motorpoint which is a stones throw away. Because we'd left it late to book we could only get in at Jpingos but we're reassured by the great rating and great menu options. Fortunately the food and service backed this up. On our table we had 2 X burgers of different varieties (all of their burgers can be made with a vegetarian burger option), a peri wings, and a half peri chicken. All the food was so tasty and the staff serving were great. The free appetiser was delicious and a lovely touch. Overall it's amazing value for money and well definitely be back. One note of caution which we and seemingly a lot of other diners didn't realise is this place is alcohol free, but don't let that out you off!

Had an amazing dine-in experience at the restaurant. Food was amazing as well the service. They got the reasonable pricing. What most amazed was their stakes and lamb chops . Loved the foos overall.

A healthy and absolutely delicious Fusion Steakhouse. The right amount of protein, carbs and fiber on every main course. We had Medium Fillet, Medium T-bone. Both prepared at the best Level. The menu is interesting with stylish options and stoned baked Pizza It is truly an all rounder for couples who has different craves and yet a good night out. Great HMC Approved restaurant Jpingo's has a very extensive menu and the food was freshly prepared. The food was good quality and portion sizes are smaller. The restaurant was clean and tidy, what more can you ask for. The staff were attentive and looked after us, did seem to have a slight language barrier. I think it is under new ownership. The onstreet parking outside is a little awkward and tight, probably the only downside, little pricey as well including Sunday and until 2200hrs each day. This is clearly out of the restaurant remit. Prayer facilities are available I can't wait to be back in Nottingham, so I can pop in for a meal. Opens from 1300hrs on Sunday

Visited here for dinner. Service was polite and quick. Complementary bread and dips was a good start. Had chicken starter which was delicious. Fillet steak for main didn't resemble a normal Fillet however it was tender and tasty. Would happily return.

Had the most beautiful meal here today all the family did had a booking for 17 all the food come out together, all hot beautiful flavours absolutely beautiful we all enjoy even the kids loved it really do recommend to come dine here and we all most definitely will be back again. Also staff very nice and friendly. X

Suad and zainab were really friendly, gracious and great customer service with beautiful similes. Ghulfam was very polite. Chicken sizzler was a generous portion, very tasty. Apple crumble is yummy. Would highly recommend the restaurant and come back again.

We were in Nottingham for SUM41 concert. We booked this restaurant as it was closed to the premier inn we were staying at. We arrived at jpingos, were seated. Immediately served hot pittas and dips. On reflection...I'd say all of it including the pittas were NOT made on site. Ordered 2 burgers and a whole chicken with sides. They arrived in 8 minutes! 🤔 Now having cooked a whole chicken.....this was speedy! And a bit suspicious! Burgers had no cheese on the cheeseburger, no jalapenos on the other, just a gross watery salsa which wasn't on the menu description. The chicken was stone COLD. We called over our waitress, who once we had explained, seemed panicked! The manager however was confused and confrontational! My son's burger was cold, and pink! We decided to leave ( still pressured into paying the full bill though!) Menus were filthy. Glasses dirty. Staff were awful! Food even worse! Don't get caught out like we did!

Very good steak that was cooked to perfection. The seating area was comfortable and the staff were kind and attentive. The only issue we experienced was the difficultly of finding a car park space, however this did not affect the quality of the food and service, so I will not include this into my rating.

Me and my family ordered a sirloin steak and a whole chicken meal which was supposed to be extra hot but came out with barely any taste. The sirloin steak was undercooked as i asked for medium to well but was served undercooked. We used to have them all the time but they chef and waiters have changed completely but when we asked them they said no. Service is not recommended and we will not be attending the restaurant again.

I arrived 30 minutes before the restaurant opened, but the staff kindly let me in. After a brief wait, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary appetizer. The mains arrived quickly and were very tasty, with generous seasoning that allowed the flavours to shine. As a Birmingham visitor unfamiliar with Nottingham cuisine, I was impressed by the high quality of the steak. Although my requested medium-rare was slightly more medium, it was still very juicy and complemented well by the peppercorn sauce. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant, which is easily accessible with ample on-site parking. Perfect venue for an autumnal bite.

Allhamdulillah. A great halal restaurant for a night out with family or friends. A wide range of food from burgers to freshly made pasta. Sometimes the food is inconsistent on busy days (but you will be offered some form of discount upon a genuine complaint). Ample seating for many sized groups. However, you may be sitting amidst strangers at busier times. The music could disappear altogether as it’s just a nuisance most of the time. And it’s a bit oxymoronic as there’s a prayer room also (which Allhamdulillah is clean and spacious). Bit gloomy in the evening but cozy nonetheless. Staff are generally respectful and friendly. Would recommend to all brothers and sisters within the Nottingham area.

Greeted as soon as we walked in and shown to a table immediately. Allowed us a good amount of time to look over the menu with a complementary warm pita breads and dips before taking our order. Both the rump steak with prawns and the mixed sizzling platter we ordered were excellent and seasoned perfectly.

I visit Nottingham regularly for work and always come here for my evening meals. The quality of food is absolutely outstanding and the staff are all just lovely. Great selection of alcohol free drinks. My favourite dish at the moment is the lamb chops, but to be honest you can’t go wrong with anything you pick. A real gem of a place.

I ate at Jpingo’s last time I visited Nottingham and couldn’t pass by the opportunity when I returned. Food, service and atmosphere are just as I remember.

As an experienced food reviewer, I am very selective about rewarding stars to restaurants. For this restaurant, I can pleasantly share a four star rating due to the consistently considerate service provided by staff. The waitering staff kindly checked on our party many times throughout the night. They were very patient in allowing us decide and not urging of us to complete our order. Upon browsing, I ordered this delicious mixed sizzler because I’d seen photos online where the chicken one alone looked succulent and smothered in sauce. Following my brother in laws recommendation, I tried this to give the restaurant more of a chance to shine. With each bite came a delicious taste of juicy, well seasoned and appealing meats from chicken to lamb. I’d personally recommend this mixed sizzler dish. Delicious.

A spacious restaurant with a quirky vibe. Top service from staff and orders were turned around very swiftly. The staff stood out within the experience as they were constantly active in ensuring high standards and helping wherever they could. The food was of a good standard, well cooked. The T-bone was cooked well but the flavour wasn't unique or something that stood out. The prawn combo meal was fabulous with unique flavours. Overall a nice place with a nice vibe but I didn't find any particular food item that would bring me back.
