Had a brilliant family meal at Farro's today. It's a bit out of the way of central Nottingham but handily has a small carpark behind but also on street if can't fit in there. Staff were so lovely, friendly and helpful. The food was delicious! Every single thing our party of 9 ordered was great. Brilliant portion sizes, good quality and well presented. Fab choice of options to suit everyone. We ordered calzones (best I've seen in a long time), pizza, burgers and the peri peri chicken. The amount of toppings in the calzones/on the pizza and burgers was very generous. It's a shame the place was quiet on a Sunday lunch as they deserve to be much more popular and well known. Prices were good. You order at the bar, and grab your own refillable soft drinks and cutlery (similar to Nandos) but have no issue with that. I'm keen to return back soon so I can try something else :D

Genuinely, food was amazing, staff were polite and helpful, atmosphere was top quality. Will definitely return and definitely recommend. I got the beef sizzlers when I went, but also tried the chicken sizzlers and their burger collection. Fantastic food throughout.

Went for something different to Sunday lunch and the food was amazing. The fella had one of their milkshakes and wow, well worth it.

Absolutely fantastic place. Myself and the wife took a stroll to farros on a whim (didn't know where to eat) and what a brilliant choice it was. The food was affordable yet more than delicious. The hosts fantastic and literally nothing to complain about. Half a chicken sweet potato fries a massive stacked burger and onion rings. And unlimited refills for just over £30. 100% recommend.

May I point out the professionalism of the waiters and waitresses during peak hours of the restaurant. I'm very impressed. I thank each and everyone of them who served us last night (Friday night). And food was excellent as always. Keep your standards high 👌🏻

We really enjoy going to Farro's, the foods great & reasonably priced. The staff are fantastic & so friendly. They don't serve alchacol, but that's not a problem just pop into the Lincolnshire Poacher next door for a couple of beers first, which is what we do.

Great place to have good food + good deserts. Waffles are amazing, better than many big dessert places out there. Great vibe and ambience. The customer service is the icing on the cake! The girls are superb at understanding the customer requirements. Thanks Saira. Happy customers!

We ordered the most popular calzone and a combo dish. The serving sizes were generous, presentation was beautiful, and the aroma was enticing. However, the flavors didn’t live up to the initial impression. The meat in both dishes lacked depth – it started off with a hint of flavor that quickly faded, leaving the meat itself bland and flavorless. The side dish’s coating was seasoned well, but the fish inside had no distinct taste, making the dish feel incomplete. Overall, despite the appealing presentation, the dishes were disappointingly underwhelming in flavor.

Terrible costumer service i have seen everr. This review would have been a positive one only if the owner of the place would have behaved humanely. I went to faros just yestrday with our guests over aswell. We parked the car had linch and when we return to the parking the owner had parked the car in a way that leaving us little room to drive away, but thats ok as he was there present in a room near the parking but no he wanted to trouble his customers anyways. One of the staff members first tried and guided our guest to help him drive away but it was tough for him and he had to come very close to another customers car so he thought to not take risk and let the owner move his car , when the owner came he was adament that we move the car without having him move his vehicle (FL18 OPT) although he had the key in hands , when we refused to take risk he started to Mock the driver for not being able to drive out and started to Intimidate him by calling out where he has the license from and humiliating our guests telling he surely doesnt have a uk lisence when it wasnt so. These ppl INSULT their customers and none less. Idk why was it a huge deal to just accomodate the customer. The owner himself has no respect for his guests. Such a Shame!!!

Mixed grill sizzler and mash potatoe is my favourite! They have selection of good food too choose from including calzone, lasagne and burgers!

Hey, I had pasta Al polo. It was okay, but it's not as good as it used to be. And the outdoor seating was so hot! I was sweating like crazy. Their pizza was good as usual.

visited on a busy Friday the customer service was amazing, the standard of food has not dropped since it first opened. My favourite restaurant in Nottingham I was shocked by customers sitting opposite to us a family of four- actually put hair in the food for a refund. The length some people go to- well done to the manager for dealing with it in such a professional manner. I’ll be back :)

A great dine-in experience, very Nandos-esque but ultimately more variety.

So between 5 of us friends we've probably been to this establishment about 50 plus times. Food is banging and always consistent. Amazing flavours and also varieties chicken beef and others. Management and staff very welcoming and friendly. Would recommend 100 times over. And hot rocks is the one.

Food was too salty. Had to pick the salt crystals out of the burger and pasta. Could not eat the food.

Atmosphere and staff where really friendly. The food was good and a good portion size! I had a great experience but my friend had a pasta and she said it was bland with no taste. So maybe needs so work on the pasta dishes. But I'd come here again and love the refillable drink

Good restaurant with happy service and quite a lot of space in there. Food was ok just my burger bun was bit not warm enough while chips been hot as hell and meat could be on the grill for bit longer but at the end I have to say that I went out from there quite happy

Great place, great food. Service is slightly slow but overall I would eat there again with family.

I really enjoyed my meal during Iftar, the service was on point and the food was sooo good. I ordered a garlic bread with mozzarella but didn't expect it to be the size of a pizza 😂😂 either way was soooo tasty and so was my main being a sirloin steak. Will be there in the future.

Can’t understand any review less than 5* in our opinion! We are very picky eaters in our family and only like the best food, I also have my own food business so understand how difficult it is to keep everyone happy. Everytime we go in for food and this has been over 20 times I would say the food has been 10/10. The staff are so friendly every single staff member greets us everytime as we walk to the table, they can’t do enough for the kids. We absolutely love it here guys keep it up!

I recently went here with a friend based on the images on this site. The chips are your generic Wetherspoons flat ones, the burger was nice but nowhere near as good as others available locally. The Oreo milkshake was 70% of the ones pictured here (no donut or Oreo on it etc. The sizzler comes as-is so you need to add the right sides.

This is our No1 food place in Notts. We have been going here after stumbling on it back in 2017. The staff are the best around and always make us feel welcome, food is amazing, try the combo or calzone there my recomendations ( but all the food is great). Ladt night we had the birthday waffle for pudding and again it was fab. See you all at farro's very soon

Had a single girls nite out/get together, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. For some of my friends, it was their first time dining at Farros. The company was great. Service was great, and the food just topped everything off perfectly. It was full of flavour, very well seasoned and cooked just enough. My friends spoke very highly of our night at Farros on the whole an excellent night. Thank you Farros you never fail to disappoint.

The best quality food for a very amazing fair price! I had the steak filet and it was the best beef I ever ate. My friend ate the chicken sizzler and it was an excellent dish, full of flavour without being overly spicy. A great atmosphere and lovely restaurant where you can see the chef's cooking. Please do not use Farros restaurant. They use students on 4 hour trial shifts then don’t pay them. The manager just says “we don’t have to pay for trial shifts, think of it as an interview and you don’t get paid for interviews “ They have no morals and abusing the desperation of young struggling kids. Please do not add to their greedy wealth.

Food was amazing!!! The steak was cooked to perfection and the salmon off the starter menu was so tasty! The strawberry cheese cake is the best cheese cake I've ever had!!

No exaggeration when I say that this is the best dinner I’ve had in a WHILE. The food was incredible, proper rustic menu with good hearty food, everything was a 10/10, the steaks were top quality and the pastas particularly were a favourite of ours. The service was incredible, everyone was so kind and helpful which was so lovely to see as our party was quite large and our order was very detailed! On top of that the food came out so quickly I was so impressed. We celebrated my cousins birthday here and the staff were so accommodating to our requests, they played music for us and gave us a candle on top of a birthday waffle cake that was just HEAVENLY. I’ve been here many times but this is my first time going in 3 years, sometimes with restaurants you feel like the quality goes down over time but I was so impressed to see that Farros has improved its already great reputation and overall it was just an amazing experience!

Farro's is a famous steakhouse/grill in Nottingham. We had ordered delivery from Farro's many times prior to our visit. Their food always is delicious especially Pasta and Shakes but Steaks are something you can fully enjoy at the table, so we planned a lunch to try their steaks. Farro's is quite centrally located and easy to find. On arriving, we were seated by a young girl. She looked quite tired and didn't render any greeting. We knew the menu from home delivery experience already. They have advance payment till system. We advanced to the till to order Rib eye with Mash and Lamb steak with Corn on the Cob. Two drinks to go with the order, have to mention here they provide DIY bottomless drinks at the steakhouse. Pricing is quite generous. The order arrived early, again with a very plain attitude from the serving staff. We proceeded to eat. Both the beef steak and lamb steaks tasted yummy, nothing extraordinary . While we were digging in, the manager came around. No greetings or feedback requested, rather he headed straight to next table spending 15 minutes chatting with them about their order. They might be regular customers/friends, still not a satisfying gesture to ignore all other dining guests totally. We shelved off plans for our sweet craving and left. My personal reflection; this place needs a massive improvement in customer dealing and communication skills.

The quality has dropped by a HUGE margin and it was really expensive for what we got. We ordered some steak and it was really chewy and hard to eat. And the food was cold when it came to our table.

Following the review, gave it a try. Was looking forward to the lamb chops as reviewed but this was only available as a starter. So we had lamb chops, calamari and olives. Didn't bother with any mains. The lamb was tasteful but over cooked, the calamari didn't taste like real calamari but more of a processed type. Best dish out of these was the olives and sun-dried tomatoes, I mean you can't go wrong. Been there, dine that, won't be going back.

This was an impromptu evening meal and what a treat. Excellent quality food, really tasty with hot chillies, far superior to any chain restaurant plus a great price and friendly service. Our hungry son was beaten by the calzone. Recommended.

The steak was rubbery, tasteless and overpriced. The pizza was quite literally a Tesco pizza but with toppings like chicken and pepper. The peri peri chicken was cold and did not taste good. The service was ok but not the best.

Found this place via Google, and it didn't disappoint. the food ordered was on point. The steak was really nice, and the chicken sizzler. Nice welcoming staff and nice atmosphere insidr. Some advise cutlery is self service, bit strange that, and you have to order away from the table and pay first.

I ordered a burger and received the wrong burger. Nobody came to inform us. It was when I went to ask, they apologised. That's all and I got my original meal, even though it tasted cold and not normal. Very saddening experience! Imagine if I had a severe allergy, it could have caused a death!!!

This grill house deserves 5-stars! we’re really impressed with the sea bass combo and Asian beef burger. The portion is huge and they have abundant sauces, gravy and sides. Good value for money. Probably one of the best burgers we have had in Nottingham. We will definitely come again.

I am really impressed with the quality of service in particular. Excellent range of food at a reasonable price.

The low score is based on the poor communication from the servers - there was no chicken in the building and we waited for over 80mins for our mains to come. I feel we should have been informed and could have ordered something else from the menu. The service was not satisfactory for me on this occasion. My aunty was not impressed and she made her feelings known.

Really surprised me, food was great, full of flavour, hit and tempted to overspend to get more 😆 had 4 mains and some started and shared between 4 of us. Chicken thighs are amazing, as is the Calzone. Shared a steak and it was cooked a s I wanted and juicy, definitely will be back with the family and friends.

Held an adoption shower here today. The staff were so accommodating and helpful. Amazing menu and food. A big thankyou to all the staff. X
