We had friends visiting and wanted to take them somewhere with great food. We booked a table for 7.30pm and upon arrival were told the table wasn’t ready so we took a seat in the bar to wait. After 15 minutes we were taken to our table. To cut a long story short we were provided with poppadoms as a starter after around 30 minutes and had to wait until 9.30pm (2 hours after arriving) before the main course arrived. By this point we were fed up with waiting and our friends couldn’t eat their mains as it was too late into the evening. So we ended up leaving after a two hour visit where we had just 2 poppadoms each and a doggy bag. The experience ruined what should have been a great night out with close friends. Disappointing as the food really is excellent if you can actually get it.
Well another Friday and another trip to our favourite place. Staff were as welcoming as ever. Such an amazing place for little people ❤️. The cakes are to die for too. Thank you.
Came here with the family and enjoyed a full English. The food was cooked to perfection and the waiting staff very friendly. Top marks all round guys, thanks very much!
Usually good food & we are regulars. But this time not. Unfortunately after ordering 3 fishcakes , fish chips and peas . We discovered 1 of the fish cakes was black and inedible. Such a shame as was a special tea for mother in law and family. I have contacted on fb and on the online form on website and posted a photo .
My husband and I are regular visitors to The Snug Cafe, as you could say it's our local. We sometimes go for breakfast as my husband loves their full English. We are always made to feel welcome, the decor is nice and comfortable, and in good weather it's lovely to sit outside.
Excellent menu , friendly staff and lovely atmosphere . We were there for an early Mother’s Day treat . My husband and son had the cheese burger and fries which they said was best they had ever tasted ! My daughter and I had a toasted sandwhich with homemade slaw . The milkshakes were very impressive with a chocolate bunny and the home made lemonade/ ginger beer very refreshing 👍👍We will be back soon .

I order from here all the time, I wouldn’t go anywhere else! The best pizza EVER!, always hot, always fresh and the most lovely staff, they are all genuine and friendly … they know our order off by heart haha! Thank you Number 56 xxx
Went to this place for a family meal for 13. Had to order a week in advance and person on the phone was unhelpful and queries via email not responded to. We were seated at a table already laid out and a tight squeeze for 12 adults and one child. Food was brought out in dribs and drabs ,so much so, one person had actually finished their first course before the last meal arrived. The food itself was hit and miss with several of us complaining about the standard offered. What was most irksome was watching bar staff and presumably some duty manager having a water fight around the bar yards from where we were seated! Not very professional , or safe , I am sure the owner's would have been mortified to see this.
Eaten and drank here many times now along with my husband and cannot fault it, the food is delicious and drinks always cold and refreshing and they have a good selection of food/drinks, free WiFi, sports on the tele and the staff are always friendly and easy to have a natter to, 100% my fav spot to eat in Bingham ❤️
Fantastic to be able to book a table for 8 in advance, great service, we didn’t feel rushed at all.
The food was excellent.
We will definitely visit again.
Spotted from the car park and decided to stop for a coffee. There was some seating outside so perfect for anyone with dogs. It was a beautiful spring day so we also decided to have some cakes and a cheese scone.
I have to say the cakes were fab and the cheese scone was the best I have ever had. Can’t wait to visit again. Highly recommended.
I called by for a quick breakfast sandwich takeaway before work. I wanted to spend at a local independent business and try somewhere new. I wish I hadn’t picked here… I ordered a sausage sandwich for £3 and chucked it straight in the bin after one bite. Chewy microwaved pre-cooked sausages on cheap white bread with a measly bit of ketchup. I wouldn’t even pay 50p for that. The owners should be ashamed of this… if this is the usual standard of food I’d expect them to be closed down soon.
This was another surprise for us. Nice, down to earth feel that we stumbled upon with quirky decorations and great priced drinks. Dog friendly, even on a Saturday evening, we sank into the leather sofas and relaxed, full of food and wine. Great find and we will be back, especially when they have live music on!
Exceptional service from Charlie's on the hill, big thanks to both Charlie and Deborah who supplied the sandwich platters for our dad's wake.
They also delivered to the venue which saved us a lot of stress on a difficult day for us.
Sandwiches exceeded our expectations being very fresh and plenty of varied fillings which suited vegetarian guests also.
Very good value for money, would certainly recommend.
Thankyou, Lynn, Karen and Chris
