Food is not served here. Pub has a great atmosphere.

So disappointed with the service since they moved to kelmarsh! I’ve been a few times and the owner lady always seems so stressed and short with customers and sometimes staff! She doesn’t look as happy as she used to be at there other tea room. Today I simply asked for a slice of cheese to have with a cheese scone, and she stated they were far too busy with orders to cut cheese. I could have some grated cheese!! Apparently too busy and no work top space to cut cheese. I didn’t want grated cheese, especially if it’s pre packed , I just wanted a little slice of cheese! I don’t think that was too much to ask. I ended up having a fruit scone. She wasn’t bothered that I was disappointed. In the queue I heard her tell another customer they were too busy to do something for the customer, I didn’t hear what the request was. Surely with in reason we can ask for simple requests. The selection isn’t as good as it used to be at the old tea room. Nor is the service.

I absolutely love Greek food and sadly, this was nothing like Greek food. The ambience was quite awkward, the food was substandard and had undoubtedly been reheated in the microwave. I'm sorry to say it, but I'd never come back here and wouldn't recommend it to anybody.

Earlier in the year a friend tipped me off about a Vegan Cafe in Northampton. Finally made it here to fuel up for a day in Northampton that is celebrating music, but for me Record Store Day is about also celebrating independent businesses. This is a boat that has kept afloat for 10 years. 2 levels with beautiful views and scrumptious food. Beetroot Hot Chocolate came with a heart and was definitely made with love. Lovely staff.

We live in Uppingham and regularly visit no23 as everything is consistently good. It has the feel of a place more like you would visit in a city . Menu regularly changes and the food is delicious. All the staff are friendly, attentive and very kind to our two year old. Would recommend.

This is a lovely little old village pub and has many fans. (?). The food service staff are a group of pleasant young girls with no supervision. Therefore they are not focused on the needs of their customers. Usually they are gathered in a group away from the eating guests. We ordered 6 tapas dishes. The portions were very generous but fairly expensive compared to other Spanish restaurants. Three of the dishes were just acceptable but three were on the verge of being sent back. 5 of these dishes were not served at acceptable temperatures. If there had been evidence of a supervisor on duty that would have happened. 1, The chicken supreme was grossly over cooked in the process of preparation and then over-reheating resulted in dried out chicken making it impossible to eat. 2, The Frito Misto had spent much too long in the deep fryer and resulted in whitebait, prawns and mussels (many stuck together) that were over-cooked and all tasting of sour whitebait. 3, The cod suffered with a similar lack of care and attention in the kitchen. It was over-cooked and lacked seasoning and flavour. 4. There was no evidence of any supervisory staff on duty. So in summary, the owners of this establishment need to seriously review its management arrangements and supervision of both front of house and food preparation operations. Why are dishes like this leaving the 'pass' in the first place? Who is checking that? In the restaurant they need mature supervision by staff that understand the function and purpose of the business of running a restaurant.

Visited for lunch today. Fabulous meal and great service. Obviously a popular place as there seemed to be a lot of regulars eating there. Had Gammon, then Kit Kat Cheesecake and a cup of tea. £8.50. Fabulous value and will definitely visit again.

Called in for a quick drink with friends and a bite to eat. The staff here are always friendly and a table normally easy to get. The outside seating is great when the weather is right, on the day of our visit it was wet so sat inside. Pre Covid there was always a reasonable beer or two to choose from, often from Langton or Grainstore. These days it is a bit hit and miss miss often just the lamentable Doom Bar. Luckily there was a nice Grainstore on. Food selection offers something for everyone, we had a a range of dishes, all came together and were well presented, hot and tasty. This is always a steady place to go, not badly priced and always consistent. Sunday lunches are lovely as well…

I last visited today just to get a coffee which was really good and served very well. I really should have tried one of the huge scones; in fact i need the recipe as mine are never as good as those. i usually go for the jacket potatoes but you need to be there at the beginning of lunch to be sure to obtain one they are so popular. Workbridge is a great relaxing place to visit as the surrounding outlets are all within walking distance and parking on site. This charity organisation provides teaching as well as work experience for those less fortunate and they do a grand job too both teachers and student staff.

Excellent, fresh flavours and authentic tasting Thai food. Friendly, accommodating staff. Very busy, every table was full on my Tuesday evening visit. I wasn't expecting much, having viewed the website and some reviews, so I was thoroughly pleased. The Som Tam was so good, I was tempted to pick up the plate and drink the juice/sauce.

We wanted somewhere local for our anniversary lunch. Friends had recommended this place to us. We were not disappointed! Service, cleanliness, and the quality of the food were all superb. We both opted for the Faggots. Large portions, hot and freshly cooked to perfection! - Would recommend to anyone!

I popped in with my dog and we were made very welcome. Lovely atmosphere with local people chatting and included me, made me feel welcome. The staff were very friendly and I had a hot chocolate and I really enjoyed scrambled egg on toast. I was so looking forward to popping in again on my next visit to Sleaford but I was very sad to read a newspaper article saying it has closed for good. So sad after 101 years in the town that this had to close.

Authentic Carribbean food and great service many people had told me about it for some time, and I now know why. It's no longer a secret

All the reviews are before 2023. We are now in 2025 and their food is terrible!! Burnt bbq ribs, but happily served, special chow mein without sauce was totally bland, no flavour whatsoever. Things have really badly gone down hill
