Taan Thai Restaurant & Takeaway in Boston

Excellent, fresh flavours and authentic tasting Thai food. Friendly, accommodating staff. Very busy, every table was full on my Tuesday evening visit. I wasn't expecting much, having viewed the website and some reviews, so I was thoroughly pleased. The Som Tam was so good, I was tempted to pick up the plate and drink the juice/sauce.

Terrible service. Ordered from here a few times now. As well as sitting in, we order to the house regularly (every 2 weeks at least. This place has cancelled my user eats order, received no notice. Went to pick it up and had to wait a bloody half hour in the carport. 3 times this has happened now and we will not be using this place again. Absolutely disgusting behaviour.

Pre-booked for four, we arrived on Boston Christmas Market night, it was very busy, but our table was waiting. Great start! Things only got better 👍🏻 Very attentive staff, gave us time to settle, drinks were delivered and we were kept topped up. Our choices were made and ordered. We had plenty of time to consume and savour the food between courses, and from starters to desserts, everything was piping hot and delicious. We will definitely be returning!! Thank you.

3rd visit to this delightful restaurant- always a pleasure. Food is lovingly prepared and presented and always delicious. We always plan a visit here when we are holidaying in the area.

The food here is wonderful: consistently delicious, delicate flavours, from the best ingredients. Divine. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, lovely staff, and there always seems to be parking available just across the road by the river. I think we have visited Taan Thai four times this year.

Very nice welcome by the 2 gentlemen. Service was efficient and pleasant. We ordered starters and main courses. Sadly there was no king prawns, which was disappointing. We both had different steak dishes and different pork starters. Good portions and nicely cooked. Drinks aren’t cheap, but in restaurants, they never are. We would certainly go back, their menu is quite extensive, so plenty to try. Hoping for prawns next time.

Visited with my partner as we fancied a change. We were very pleasantly surprised by the outstanding quality of the food served, the friendliness of the staff, and the lovely atmosphere. We ordered a set dinner, which was both plentiful and wonderfully cooked, had fantastic flavours, and was presented very nicely. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone!

We used to go a lot when it was Boston Spice, I loved it then, I love it even more now. The food menu has changed slightly since it became Taan Thai House & can only say for the better. The food is always top notch. Fresh tasting, always top service. Never had anything bad happen. When it's busy there is sometimes a longer wait for food but that's to be expected, we've never waited more than 10-15 mins.

Really enjoyed the lunch time menu, and a great place to eat after visiting the Guidhall. Would recommend to anyone visiting Boston.

Fantastic food, fantastic atmosphere, fantastic service, great price, and real value for money. Arrived tonight to try the new restaurant and was really impressed Had upstairs window seat overlooking the town watching a lovely sunset Ok, the decor isn't the best, and the building is a bit tired it has no impact on the experience we had Highly recommend if you love traditional Thai food

Superb meal as always . Great choice and taste. This has to be the best Thai restaurant I’ve been to inc Thailand . Superb staff that were very attentive even though it was very busy
