Lovely Lovely place. Friendly and Welcoming. Good handpull beers and good selection of drinks. Lovely separate rooms log burner. Very cosy afternoon tea looked amazing. Would visit again.

One of my favorite pubs. Nice and relaxed atmosphere. Great service. You can sit by the fireplace and drink warm coffee or beer.

Great place to enjoy a drink, for us on a Sunday afternoon, cosy atmosphere, casual seating with the glow of a woodburner at the rear.

In fairness i am giving my rating on the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and owner. I needed their help on something and they were very kind to oblige ....and that to me is usually a sign of how the business in run. Many thanks to them .

Afternoon tea here is amazing. Great mix of sandwiches, savoury and sweet treats. Would recommend having this with the Prosecco. Heaven.

Rude and unprofessional discriminate against people not drinking alcohol.

Had afternoon tea here. It was very nice. We would rather have had more sandwiches, we only had 3 and loads of cakes and biscuits. Also the scone came with butter and jam not cream and jam like we expected.

Ordered an Afternoon Tea for my mother in laws 86th birthday Requested a quiet corner and we were offered a small room overlooking the footbridge, she could people watch! The service and food were 1st class and they offered boxes to take the food we could not eat home Lovely experience and mother in law was very happy! Would highly recommend!

Arrived for a drink with friends before a meal. Women old enough to know better threatening to smash our heads in if they weren’t brought a drink. Staff doing nothing to help. Bikes with baby seats outside from these women. Disgusting. Never again and lovely restaurants I won’t go again to with the area. Very appalled that staff are letting this happen

I attended a baby shower here we were allocated the upstairs room which was perfect. The afternoon tea we were served was probably the best I've had, very well presented a good selection of both sweet and savoury delights. Staff were lovely and really looked after us.

Great place, nice landlord an lady, very welcoming, making you feel comfortable an relaxed. Toilets are minimal, an unisex, but cleaned regularly. Great atmosphere and a perfect place to take friends or relatives. Keep it up guys.

Amazingly good priced beer and chat. Dog friendly too which was an added bonus. Would highly recommend popping in for a pint if you are staying nearby or passing.

Literally love this place. It's super old and qwerky inside, outside is great in the day or evenings! Bar staff really friendly and nice, warm atmosphere and everyone just does their own thing with friends and family. Love it.

Had a lovely afternoon in church keys, Jason was very accommodating with making any cocktail requested and reasonable prices.

Came in for Sunday dinner which was absolutely delicious! Very attentive staff and great beers on draft. Couldn't of asked for a better lunch! Outside space is brilliant with a 360 walk round by the river. Highly recommend!

Place is a mess most days, but if u in for locals with they not so smart comments.

I have been to the place many times and a long time ago it was great. Now not so much. The last time I ate there the food was terrible, I complained and the OWNER didn't care at all. Customer service has gone down the hill.

Afternoon tea was awful. Paid £14 for half a dry old pork pie, half a sausage roll, various bite size pieces of cake that were clearly bought from a supermarket, cheesecake was soggy and a strange texture. The sandwiches were ok apart from the cucumber one which hadn’t been refrigerated and was warm! The scones seemed freshly baked but were burnt on the top. 5 of us ordered and most of it went back. We mentioned it to the landlady when we paid and she was really rude and hostile, she basically said we should have said something sooner, offered us a free afternoon tea voucher but it will not be used, the place was unkempt and dirty! Avoid! The White Hart is much better!

Church keys was nice food was good but was a bit dear staff where very nice

1st time been there I love it, great bar you can choose whatever you want for a fair price is well 😉 recommended 👍

Absolutely awful customer service. They pick and choose which customers they give which deal to, who they ID and who they give good service to. You can go in on a Wednesday and they'll give you the best service ever and be all over you and not ID you. Then go on a Saturday and feel like they don't even want you there. Staff are rude and unfriendly and the place is an absolute dive. Who serves cocktails in a 1/2 pint Carling glass?

Popped in for a quick drink after a meal, we were met by a very nice chap who sorted a table for the 4 of us, very vibrant lively place good selection of drinks.

Having spoken to a member of staff on the phone that the venue was serving food on Sunday eve but not taking bookings.. I was put right on arrival by a lady who seemed like a manager or owner that this was wrong.... had been wrong for ages..... had I phoned another place?... I think the manner in which I was told was surly and rude. If I had made a mistake I could have been told in a friendly manner... this is not the first time someone has stated the usually first rate customer service is let down by a senior management figure. They may be in authority but customers don't need arrogant communication!

Went for Sunday lunch yesterday,we were visiting my brother who lives in Boston. The Sunday lunch was delicious. We had beef which was very tasty and such a great selection of vegetables. I always used to love and go to Church Keys until now. I am exempt from wearing a mask however the lady who works there was so rude to me saying it's all a lie. Disrespectful, no manners, worst service ever. Absolutely horrible

ok thought nice day got one of my support workers with me I like to go to Boston we had a look round the town and then its dinner time what a better place to have a meal with a very nice warm welcome than hear at this very clean place with great staff and a very good menu to look at the food comes to you nice fresh and hot and you get a very big plate full and yes we will be back very soon

Super friendly staff with good prices, cold beer on a got day what could be better?

Friend ordered a cocktail and received hers, we were then told we couldnt have one due to a back log. We were the only people inside the venue (aside from four people sat down with their drinks). A lady (who I’m assuming is the manager/owner) then continued to speak to the two other people behind the bar about not serving cocktails as if me and my friends weren’t there. Will not be returning, which is a shame, as when we used to go there, the cocktails were never too much trouble and the bartenders always had a smile on their faces.

Bar staff are friendly and more than accommodating. The "doorman" was EXTREMELY handsy and kept calling me "friend" when trying to usher me to the toilets when there was a queue due to social distancing. I asked him to stop calling me this as it was weird and straight away was asked to leave. What a crying shame because the bar staff were absolutely brilliant.

It was awful...I ordered a limonade and I ve got a drink like Sprite.

Very nice little place for a drink. At least 500 years old, if I remember correctly. The inside is very cosy and well presented, and the staff were brilliant. One member of staff was more than happy to show us upstairs around the building after we showed an interest in the history of the place. The beer served here is excellent. Its a perfect place to go for a quiet cosy drink.

a very warm welcomes you as you walk through the door it is a very nice clean resturant now it as inside and outside seating a very good staff and the food is fresh cookt and you will find the staff are so very friendly the food is so very good and big portions once the tables are empty of people they are soon cleared and yes one day we will be back P.S. 3 of us had sunday lunch. We loved the decor and atmosphere of the place. We all chose the roast beef. We had a long wait for our meal it was 45 minutes. Only one waitress running around and a hen party in separate room with cream teas to serve as well as tables for lunch. She did keep apologising and checking to see if we needed more drinks. When food arrived it was amazing. Generous portion of Beef and good selection of vegetables only 2 roast potatoes which was very welcome after Christmas excesses.

The milkshakes that I ordered had chunkes of powder in there and the taste wasn't quite flattering. My friend ordered a milkshake and it was served in two different glasses.I would not recommend buying any of the hot beverages here also.

OMG the afternoon tea was amazing. We had to bring some home. Roaring fire attentive staff fantastic food . We are definitely going back.

ok Christmas and New Year is over so back to normal support worker and i went out today the very first time this year 02 January and i said Boston please had look round the town then time for dinner and as i tend to stick to surtain places due to my illness vac dementia (ect) it made cence to go there as we both know what it is like a very nice warm welcome awaits you as you go into this very nice clean place with great food and the food is FRESH and you get a very good menu to choose from we love it hear and yes we will be back soon

Very much enjoyed a spontaneous saturday lunch here, chose the Steak, Chips and seasonal veg. Wow the presentation was spot on, the steak was cooked to perfection. The only thing i would say is it wasn’t very warm in the place. Would definitely return.

My brother and i bought an afternoon experience for our mum and Auntie in April. Unfortunately they had been unable to get there within the allotted time for their voucher. I live on the Isle of Wight and my Bro lives in Milton Keynes but we were born and brought up in Friskney. "Mum would say Dragged up" I spoke to A lady at the keys explaining the reasons for why mum had not been able to make it and she said "No Problem" give us a ring when you can and we'll see what we can do.Well!!!! Thankyou so much as mum and my Auntie and one of my cousins went along to The Keys quite late in the afternoon and had their Afternoon tea and Mum rang me that evening and said that it was perfect in every way. They just turned up but it was recommended to give a days notice but got their lines crossed a bit.There was even a doggy bag each at the end of their tea.Bravo.. Thankyou

back in Boston today as we use 1 or 2 differant cafe's (ect) in each town my two support workers take me as i have the say where we go and eat and the town as it was around the time i review this very nice cleen cafe and very good warm welcome from David The MAN and his very good staff as always we found a warm welcome great menu and very helpfull staff the food is coock fresh so worth the wait i only put how we find cafe's (ect) at the time we use them

It was as short staffed and had a group of what I know to be under age drinkers in the beer garden making a nuisance if themselves when I brought it to the attention of a member of staff his reply oh they are regulars and muttered could be worse so we left

Lovely setting friendly staff very good food

Our visit on a Thursday evening was good in some ways. The building is old and characterful, with good seating and atmosphere. The lady who served us was great and keen to do a good job.

We thought we'd done well finding this beautiful eatery, but it was a mistake. I didn't mind the man taking a full 10 minutes to carefully take down our order as he said he wanted to get it right, so imagine my dismay when only one of our meals arrived! Add to that my husband's burgers were inedible, they were absolutely raw! Yuck! We walked out.

Lovely quirky place with great food on offer

It was lovely in the sun. But the usual dirty table issue was ever present whilst staff chatted at the bar and using their mobile while I was waiting to be served

Churches is a lovely and caring place to go out for a drink or lovely food with the family.

Excellent, staff lovely food amazing and excellent choice. The seating is great very modern but also retro, highly recommend.

Had the breakfast steak, good size, tender, nicely cooked, plus a freshly made cup of coffee, all with prompt and friendly service. Companion said that Eggs Florentine was an excellent veggie option. Attractive old building, good atmosphere, central location just off the Market Place right by the river and the Stump. Second visit, looking forward to another.

Last night my husband,daughter and I went along to Church Keys for a meal. All 3 of us thoroughly and totally enjoyed every mouthful from start to finish. Homemade everything.. and you could tell .. it was delicious. The service was impeccable, the surroundings were lovely as we had a view over the river..it was immaculate. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable and nothing at all would I have changed. The desserts were to die for .. and that’s the difference of home made and frozen food... you can taste it was actually MADE. Our compliments to your lady chef she did an amazing job .. no long waits. We were advised really well with both food AND drink from restaurant staff AND bar staff. All in all what a lovely lovely evening so Thankyou Church Keys first class. Excited to try your new menu too so we will be booking in very very soon ❤️

A group of us had breakfast on a Sunday before a walk round the town. Our table was ready for us and everyone enjoyed their meal. All were beautifully cooked and presented. The staff are efficient and friendly.

Beautiful surroundings, great food, and a friendly 'laid-back' atmosphere that is topped off by staff who are genuinely hospitable and welcoming. A great place to eat and relax. Will certainly go again next time I am in Boston.

Only stopped in for drinks with friends over from Sweden. Beer good and the decor if the "pub" bit traditional while the back part modern with clean Scandinavian lines. Had a few "rooms" off the main bits for cost seating and private dining or birthday parties. right next to the bridge over the river in central Boston and about two minutes from the main church for sightseeing. Well placed for a visit with an extensive gin menu if that's your tipple.

Went today for afternoon tea . excellent service good variation from sandwiches, sausage rolls scones to home made cake . really took into consideration my diatary needs . will definitely go away .
